The Hurt Locker It was good. However, I don't think it was Best Picture worthy. It was accurate in some aspects, yet inaccurate in others. The whole defusing roadside bombs was cool. But if they took off their headset off during a mission, I bet they wouldn't just get punched in the mouth, but in serious trouble with the military. Among other unrealistic things.

Oh my... Hoole. This was like my favourite book series when I was younger. It was up there with Harry Potter. The storyline and characters were fantastic. The only thing I didn't like was that the author could have made three books into one, and made less books. I think I got to book 13 before my parents refused to buy them anymore. Oooohhhh the nostalgia. :'D This looks so much better than I thought it would look. The animation is excellent; I was worried it would look too cartoony. It also looks like they put at least the first two books into the first movie. Can't wait! EDIT: Nope. I've read up to book 11. Apparently there's 15. Wow. I want to reread them this summer, and maybe get the last 4 I haven't read yet.

So I heard that the earthquake shortened the days by a microsecond or two because it made Earth start to spin the slightest bit faster. And the axis got shifted 3 inches. Holy popsicles.
It's especially frightening, since the earthquake in Haiti was a 7.0 magnitude. It's hard to imagine what it would be like in Chile right now, even with the news coverage. Almost everywhere on the coast of the Pacific Ocean is or was on a tsunami advisory/watch/warning.
