oh cool That futuristic 1920's look is one of my favorite aesthetics. I need to see more stuff with that look and feel. It's what attracted me to Metropolis.

go watch it. right now. prepare every facet of your being because it will wreck you. edit: and watch the director's cut if you can. i'm watching it now and so far it's added a couple things to one of the characters that makes the whole thing more solid. its not bad without it, but it adds a little more depth.
