god I'm not even sure if I'm going to like this but I'm so excited for it if out of nothing but morbid curiosity. I kinda wish they weren't lifting so much from Returns, since that seems to be what they're doing, but at the same time I can't help but get all kinds of giddy because they're doing Returns and that's awesome. I have such mixed feelings about all of this. Imo it will either be really good or really, really bad.
I have to admit I'm a little less excited for this than I was before. I don't like how this seems to be an origin story of sorts, focusing on Bruce and his future rogues. I would much prefer there be no Bruce Wayne at all and focus on Gordon (not a young Gordon, by the way) with the villains being someone like Falcone and have the show dealing with the mob from season to season. Gotham is such an interesting city and has often been called a character itself, I don't think you need Bruce to make a Gotham show worthwhile. Granted, I haven't seen the show so I don't know, but it's sure being advertised as "Bruce Wayne: The Origin Story." because it's not like every single person doesn't already know that story. But as always I'll reserve judgement and judge the show on its own merits. Just don't like how it doesn't seem to be what so many people were wanting/expecting in favor of something seemingly superfluous. Also, the kid playing Bruce is terrible. That scream he gives when his parents die sounds like a petulant five year-old. And his bit about "testing" himself was equally as bad. please get rid of this kid i already hate him
i got around to buying some bags and boards for the first time. its comforting being able to take my comics in and out of the box without being terrified of dropping them.

http://www.comicvine.com/articles/batman-v-superman-dawn-of-justice-reveals-wonder-w/1100-149369/ not bad. Not exactly what I think of when I think of WW, but it works nonetheless.
Is not making the end of The Dark Knight Rises Batman flying around buildings in Gotham viewed from one camera angel with this music and at the end him flying up to the camera and saying "some days you just can't get rid of a bomb" and then credits roll. Seriously, Nolan what were you thinking?

I just watched Rise again and something I noticed this time that I missed before is the incredibly small mention about a shuttle being lost in space. I've seen the original since last I saw Rise, and knowing what happened in that and then hearing how a shuttle lost in space has already been set up for this franchise has me so excited. (If there's something in Dawn about this please don't spoil it.) I reeeally want to see Dawn because I thought it looked really good and now seeing ratings and hearing that it actually is really good has me even more excited. The only dilemma is that I'm not sure I want to pay for it. ugh decisions. Also I love everything about the credit sequence in Rise. I just think that's so cool and then seeing how it's payed off in Dawn. I think this franchise has legs and I hope it goes on for a long, long time.
yo. http://www.comicvine.com/articles/sdcc-2014-arrow-panel-and-season-3-first-look/1100-149365/ Looking through the article I noticed that one of the shows creators said that season 3 is "all mapped out." That's wonderful news if it's true because that's one of the things I said needed to happen given the sloppy and lazy ending to season 2. I don't want to get too excited too soon, but given some of the things the article says I think season 3 is shaping up to be fantastic and perhaps the best yet. This television season is going to be absolutely insane. I'm super excited for this but there's also The Flash to look forward to. Oh man it's going to be so fun.
playing pokemon has made me like dream eaters more since amie is sooo close to how you interact with dream eaters it feels similar. imo its like they took everything i like about pokemon and left out everything that gives me a headache.

soo braves done. unless you want to see every pixar movie, don't bother. i was so unimpressed with it. probably their worst.
I'm only 30 mins in, that hasn't happened yet. But you can take solace in knowing that was already spoiled for me. And I'm not that invested. i dont care for medieval things so i immediately have problems enjoying the setting. i also dont care for/am tired of the whole "destiny" thing and the girl who doesn't want to be a princess rebelling against her mother feels trite and uninteresting. i just do not care at all. not to mention that with every Pixar film i've seen I always get the sense that I've never seen anything like this before, but i immediately feel like ive seen this done countless times already. BUT im only 30 mins in so maybe ill come around. maybe. probably not.
brave may end up being the one pixar film that i dont like. or at least care nothing at all for
apparently they're going to release another version of '66 for $50~ after the $300 limited edition i hope that's true
