This time last year I got into a big RJA kick. It's one of those bands that I've known of for years, I find it hard to believe that anyone survived 2006-07 without at least knowing about Face Down, but when I actually listened to them came to fully appreciate them. I haven't listened to them much since, but will sometimes listen to a song or two. I think my favorite album of theirs is Am I the Enemy, followed closely by Lonely Road. I think they're about equal. I was never able to get into their first album as much. I would encourage anyone to give them a listen. I think it's one of those bands that you could easily get a bad impression of if you're only going by what the radio plays. They're not one of my favorites but they've got some good stuff that's worth listening to imo. And apparently they have a new album out that I haven't heard yet.
Yeah, pretty much. I think this song does a good job of summarizing what it is I like in music. That's not to say that I only like this type of music, but rather that the song does so much and pulls a lot from various things I like. if that makes sense.
It's difficult to put into words for someone like me who doesn't know too terribly much about music terminology and such. I don't like the emphasis that rap puts on beats and I have zero interest in rapping itself. I'm not sure if I'm making sense or doing an adequate job of articulating what it is I don't care for. Like I said, just not my thing.
I'm not saying there's not good rap out there, but there are fundamental elements to the 'genre' that don't appeal to me, so even if there is good rap I probably wouldn't care for it. Just not my thing.

to pander I think there will be *a* fight, I don't think you get around that when reading from Returns and showing Batman in a metal suit, but I don't think it will be the big third act fight either. I mean Ultraman is a thing. I think it would be hilarious if Ultraman turned out to be the bad guy.

i was holding out that it might not be too bad after the first trailer came out, but i saw some commercials recently and totally lost any hope. i guess that's to be expected with michael bay.

The difference is that Marvel's has proven itself and DC's is only one movie in. I know anything with Batman or Superman in the title will sell, but they're trying to compete with Marvel without understanding why Marvel's worked. I kind of don't even want the DC "cinematic universe" if MoS (don't get me wrong, I love MoS) is any indication of what it will be like and Batman is going to be in everything which he absolutely will. And even if MoS isn't indicative of what it will be like, it's not something I need. also, can we change the "vs." in the title to "v." since that's the actual title

This doesn't warrant a thread so I'll just dump it here. DC has 9 films planned leading to 2020. What? Nine?? And I'm sure not a one is Aquaman and like 7 are Batman related.
