Roxas has more dimension. Ventus is a macguffin, not a character. I don't like how Ventus controls when playing him, and that omg moment when you first get to dual-weild as Roxas will always be one of the best experiences of KH. Roxas. That said, I'm not a huge fan of either. In fact, I'm not a huge fan of any KH character.

Yes, Fairy was a great addition that did wonders for balancing. Mega Altaria's Dragon/Fairy. It's insane.
My favorite from gen V are Reuniclus, Sigilyph, Cofagrigus, Serperior, and Chandelure. I find myself liking Scrafty more lately, and Volcarona is one I've been meaning to try out for a long time. I have a slight bias towards Dragon-types that carries over from YGO, and that's that they're like designed to be the best. Although I can't help but like so many of them because they really are cool. Grass is my favorite type. I also really like Ghost. I think Ghost combined with about any other type are some of the coolest Pokemon. Trevenant. The thing is she always restarts her game. She's had X for about 6 months longer than I, and in the time I've had it she's restarted 2 times. I can't figure her out. I'll steal them before she restarts one of these days.
Oh, those are great. Luxray is one of my favorites and I can't get enough of my 6iv one. Mega Luxray needs to happen. Luxray is awesome but its stats just don't quite cut it. I agree about Electric/Dark. It feels right and seems like that was intended. I don't know if you watch/listen to The Dex but they did this podcast where they speculated on which megas they think are likely and they gave Luxray #1. As much as I loved that and think it needs to happen, I don't think it's incredibly likely. It seems like a lot of love went into the design and Luxray was then promptly forgotten. It gets no attention. I was actually thinking about what Mega Chandelure would be like the other day. I was using it on Showdown and it's just too fragile. He's also one of my favorites. One of the best thing to come out of genV imo. And I want it's mega to be like that grand chandelier from Beauty and the Beast lol. There are a lot of Pokemon that deserve Megas (especially before Lopunny. what the **** is that). Some are good but just need that extra push to make them better, and some are not that great and a mega could really help them out. Is Dragon your favorite type? My sister has X and I'm probably going to steal all her mega stones when she's not looking.
