Gexln parried the strike, and retaliated by attempting a leg sweep on Sora. "You're never going to win if you don't break a few rules" he stated.

Gexln eyed the keyblade wielder curiously as Sora ran after him. "HA! You really think you can handle me. Well, give it your best shot" he said confidently.
Gexln leapt back away from Sora and Riku. He was trying his best to finish the fight as quick as he could. He glared at Riku, frustrated at how they were protecting each other.
Gexln stopped pushing and instead swung the Shadow Keyblade full force at Sora once again.

I'd like to be in it :P I don't feel like posting in the help with life thread, just going to ask it here :P Has anyone had a problem where, no matter how hard they try, they WANT to care about someone, but they just have difficulty caring for....well, anybody aside from themself?

Gexln, though furious, wasn't going to enter Dark Form. His skin returned to its natural pale colour, but he kept up the pressure on Sora and Riku, the effort tiring him quickly.
Gexln swung the Shadow Keyblade with such force it equalled the might of the two keyblade masters, right as his skin began to turn a dark gray, almost black.
OOC: Yup, it's a word. I like the sound of it too :P IC: Gexln sprang towards Sora without a word and feinted a swing at Sora's skull again, then quickly switched to aiming at his torso instead.

OOC: Yen Sid could've stopped them and punished them for breaching the rules, yet he didn't. Ever thought they don't HAVE to follow that rule? OOC: Been a while since i used Dark Pulse, i'd almost forgotten it. Almost. IC: Gexln saw no other way out of his situation, or at least none that sprang to mind. Focusing intensely, he released a violent burst of dark energy around himself, knocking Sora and Riku away from him.
OOC: Eden went to sleep lol IC: Gexln didn't stop. He leapt straight up and flipped over Sora. He then spun around in mid-air and attempted to come down with a slash on the young wielder.
