apparently. And I'm not sure why, but I don't usually have this problem to this extent when watching things that aren't anime. What is it that you don't like about reading? I don't prefer watching things because I like having total control over the pace that I experience the story, and I like seeing the art in comics. Maybe it's just a natural gravitation.
I finished soul eater earlier today and man, that was so much fun. This (manga spoilers kinda) has to be one of my favorite designs for anything ever. it's just so. ****ing. cool. And that's pretty much my opinion on soul eater. It's so dang cool. Soul Eater is beautiful all around. The art is gorgeous (kinda weird at first) and the designs are awesome. The last few chapters were kinda weird and I may do some reading up to erase any confusion, because the solution to the major conflict is.. odd. Not bad, I really like it, it's just so impractical that I can't believe it actually happened lol. I'm seriously considering buying the manga in the future, mainly because it's only 25 volumes and I like it enough to buy it, but also because the translations online are inconsistent in quality and sometimes abysmal, and reading an official translation would clear some things up. I started watching the anime tonight because I wasn't ready to be done with SE. The English dub is very very nice and the animation is gorgeous. I just don't like watching anime. Sitting and watching something is so goddamn boring. I also started reading Terror of Trigon and Deadman Wonderland.
man and i thought wb was a *****
you mean like sebastian blood?
THEN YOU NEED TO REEEEAD IT
Oh, that's neat. What about the development process? How does this affect the game itself and why is switching engines noteworthy?
It needs something. The second half is too awesome to not be animated. How Not got a show before this, I'll never understand. Nothing against Not, I just don't get it.
I haven't seen the anime so I don't know if the manga's better, but I can't imagine the anime doing something different that's as good or better. You should reat it soon, it's a fast read. I was going to watch the anime when I finished but I really don't like watching shows and I'm not loving the thought of watching 50 episodes of something. I wish someone would coach me on the art of conversation. I'm terrible at it. It takes so long to work up to starting a convo, and then when I actually do it I'm awful. I tried talking to someone earlier and it was nice, but I walked away feeling awkward. Of course it's better if I plan ahead, and I usually do, but that's not enough.
For people like me who aren't very knowledgeable about video games, what does this mean? I mean I get that it seems significant (the change), but why?
guysguysguys I'm about to finish the Soul Eater manga, and to anyone who only watched the anime and was disappointed, please, PLEASE read the manga. It gets so crazy and so fun, I can't stand to not be reading it right now. Without giving anything away, if you like Gurren Lagann and how absurd things got by the end, you need to read this. It's so much fun. Also, I don't think people give SE enough credit for how surprisingly well it's done. It's a pretty solid story with interesting ideas and not-so-disappointing character arcs that you could miss if you did not read the whole thing or only watched the show (I don't know, haven't seen it.). I posted something when I started last week saying how it felt weird, like it was a rough draft or something else I couldn't articulate, but I now realize that there's a progression happening and that it's a more intimate story than other manga I've read that try to do too many things or not focus on an actual story. All of the story arcs in Soul Eater are building to a place with things seeded in each arc, while the stakes get increasingly more insane (pfft) as it goes. It's great stuff that I was not even kinda expecting given SE's reputation. I'm not saying that it's like a masterpiece or that it's this thought-provoking intellectual story or something, the things I mentioned are things that should be in any long-form story, but I do think it's underrated and if you like GL you should try reading the manga.
amputate. dont solve the problem, get rid of it.
it all makes sense now, kingdom hearts has magic cape-growing powers wait. that doesn't make sense. none of this makes sense. none of this ever made sense.
even with the flash, im still most excited for arrow this is the biggest and most exciting television season i've ever had. arrow season 3 - excited for so many reasons (ras and awesome looking arsenal. like holy **** i can't even deal with that) the flash - one of the most significant superhero shows in the past decade. looks like everything i ever wanted minus a good costume. gotham - sucks but will hopefully get better shield - not a huge fan but cool nonetheless constantine - will check out g-reco - new gundam show that looks good for a change. and mmmm that 80s style. gbf try - TWO GUNDAM SHOWS AT ONCE WTFF and some other animes i'm trying. we are being so spoiled with entertainment this fall. somewhere in space some stars aligned or something i dont know.
oh. i thought we were talking about the flash.
okay, what is?
That's how I feel about it. As things are now, I don't see how it can reach a satisfying conclusion. 5 chapters is very little knowing how long he...
How do you feel about there apparently only being 5 Naruto chapters left? I don't know if that includes this week's.
omg happy birthday jay
well with that the breaking bad binge is over. sundays just became exponentially less meaningful. lets do another
