As the two girls were overwhelming Annabelle, she though quick and pulled her dagger (DAH-GGURR) out of her belt and gave Kaya and ruby a quick slice on each of their legs, stopping them in their tracks. She quickly limped over to Sapphire and Lysa. "Come on!" She said, "we need to go now!" Ruby growled and screamed bad stuffs at her sister and the other two girls. She clutched her legs in pain, unable to move them at all from the slices.
Nate rolled out of his bed and began making breakfast for him and Angelina. He had finally convinced her to spend one night at his place in the spare room, and actually sleep at night for once. Improvement from when he had first met her a few days before. As he thought about this he stopped. "I better check on her and make sure she didn't sneak out while I was asleep." Nate put down what he was making and walked over to her room and quietly knocked on the door. "Angelina? Are you in there? Breakfast is ready." He turned and walked back to his kitchen table, where he sat down and waited to see if she would emerge from her room.

Another thing is that adding a "Dislike" button that can be exploited as easily as the "Like" button, so many members would gang up on others and pretty much go out of their way to go and dislike every post of the one member they don't like. I'm not even kidding, there are A LOT of members here that are that mean.
I just remembered: There was a member around here a few months ago that didn't post or do ANYTHING except give his friends "likes". Each of those friends went from around 10 likes to 45 (as an example) in less than an hour. Limiting likes and implementing the Rep system would not allow stuff like this to happen.
Never thought I'd be one to agree with Vivi, but he's SO right in this case. Nobody has said no, it's pretty evident that people would like Rep to return.
What about now? 11 (Ohoho) people have voted that they're for Rep returning. Does this STILL not constitute as enough people/the majority liking the idea?

This is also a good example as to why it's good to limit rep/likes/whatever. I don't want to come back to 60 alerts, none of them being something worthwhile like a comment, and instead all of them being just likes. Plus the fact that people can constantly go and like posts with no restraint would make it easier for people to help their friends get a Material for pins when that person doesn't deserve it since their posts aren't like-worthy.
Indeed, and I think with this new rep system (since the mods will be able to see it), we can get rid of stunts like this, which is why I see it as a better system than likes and the old one.[DOUBLEPOST=1375134352][/DOUBLEPOST] It's more of a fact that people can comment on it and tell you why they agree or disagree, so that helps shape better communication I think.
The one thing I remember is getting de-tropes for something stupid like not knowing what "Trap" meant. I didn't care because that's what it was-- completely stupid-- and to me it seemed like the member didn't like me and had PURPOSELY used that as an excuse to say "I don't like you so I'll De-rep you for something this stupid"
I'd be willing to give it a shot, as long as someone was appointed to moderate how easily this was abused. As I said last night, Rep is better than likes in my opinion, and I see no reason to not have it.
