1. FAIRLY sure its composite as it has those colour plugs that you mentioned, but it says "HDMI1" when i choose an input method. Little confused about it, but i'll double check i guess. 2. I really have no idea.. 3. I've got a laptop, i use it all the time :P 4. Anywhere up to $200 is fine with me
