Kaxar stopped and stood silently, stunned in shock. Have Axel and Roxas been here? she wondered. She shook her head, hiding her shock as best as she could. "I've no idea, they look familiar but i have no idea who they are" she said.

In truth, Gexln had no intention of dying. He had one objective at the time; kill Sephiroth. That trademark, maniacal grin appeared on his face as he waited for Sephiroth to make his move.

Gexln spun Darkness' Sorrow around, experimenting with the balance of his blade. "Doesn't matter who it is, he's dying today" he said grimly.

Gexln had Darkness' Sorrow pointed at Sephiroth, ready to attack at a moment's notice. "Crazy? No. Incredibly stupid, possibly. But believe me when i say, i'm going to kick this guy's ass" Gexln said, deadly determined.

BiC: Gexln cringed in pain as he landed on the ground, he had been completely caught off-guard by Sephiroth. He was in a crossfire of sorts, not sure whether to still target Leon or Sephiroth. He made his choice. Leaping over to Darkness' Sorrow, he scooped up the blade and turned to face Sephiroth. "I, am NEVER weak" he said coldly.

Gexln quickly threw himself to the ground in an attempt to avoid the gunblade. The movement was successful, the blade barely missing the top of Gexln's skull. From the ground, Gexln rolled over onto his back, then quickly rolled backwards and immediately released a dark firaga towards Leon as he stood up straight.

"Something you have to understand about me..." Gexln started. He readied his blade. "Is i'm no ordinary Nobody" he finished. The blow was too much for him to handle, however, and Darkness' Sorrow flew out of Gexln's hands and back away from him. He watched Leon's eyes, looking for a sign of doubt. There was no other option, he would have to fight unarmed, there was too much of a risk to go grab his blade at that time.

Gexln's eyes widened in shock. What kind of weapon is that?! he thought frantically. He gritted his teeth as he attempted to block it with his blade. He felt the searing heat rushing past his face, and the strain of blocking the spell, but he did successfully do it, sweat dripping from his brow. He panted slightly, a little tired from the effort, before grinning confidently. "That all?" he taunted.

Gexln was dissapointed. He almost NEVER failed a task assigned to him. He looked down at the floor, almost in shame, but then looked up at Xemnas. "Maybe there is something else i can do to prove my point?" he questioned hopefully, thinking of the possibilities. Maybe he'd be sent to retrieve something important, maybe he'd even be sent to retrieve the x-blade, but he doubted that.

Gexln shifted his stance. He was about to try somthing incredibly risky. With his feet right-angled for balance, he held his blade out in front of him in a defensive position. The very second the shuriken was about to hit him, Gexln pushed forward with all his might, and barely managed to deflect the shuriken, the weapon now headed for Leon's direction as a cocky smile appeared on Gexln's face.

Kaxar yawned. "Gah, need more sleep" she mutttered, thinking aloud as she followed Roxella.

DA, stop being a dick and just let him do what he wants. Mike's a fantastic guy, his sig is just helping him get a little further in life, it could advance him in a career field. Who cares if he makes threads about himself? I think if he's proud of something he's done, or proud of something a friend of his has done, he has every right to show it!

Gexln smirked. "Sure, i'll see how tough this guy is when his blade is broken in half" he said, an air of confidence surrounding him.

Kaxar laughed. "Haha, where can i get one of those things?" she asked, kidding around.

Gexln was impatient, he both wanted to fight but yet wanted to finish the mission and be done with it. He sighed. "Look, it doesn't matter who we are, just get out of our way so we can find Ansem's castle and we'll be done here" he stated impatiently.

Kaxar looked at the gates, then back at Roxella. "Not if they're locked like that we won't" she said with a slight laugh. "Any ideas?" she questioned.
