Gexln wasn't surprised by the Dark Firaga, but he was surprised when it split into multiples. As he was watching the dark firagas, he barely saw R fly behind him. "What are you restoring?" he asked. Before waiting for the answer, he straightened his body. Concentrating for a brief second, Gexln released a violent burst of dark energy, a small area around him repulsing his surroundings, but draining a good chunk of his energy.

Gexln jumped backwards. He landed on top of the stairs neatly on his feet, visually he appeared far more calm than he actually was. How did he move so fast?! he wondered. R had moved faster than the majority of the people Gexln had seen, possibly faster than Gexln himself. He then noticed the markings. Could they be what caused his speed? he questioned. Within 10 seconds of challenging R, Gexln already suspected that he was right in R being dangerous. He wasn't sure if he would need to go all out or not, deciding to wait a little longer. He couldn't afford to wait too long and let R figure out his next move. "Why are you here?" he questioned, hoping to buy some time. Directly after he asked the question, Gexln fired a dark firaga at R.

Gexln looked up as the man answered. Truth be told, with the amount of time he had been looking in Twilight Town he was surprised that he'd actually found someone. The man gave off almost an aura of power, just being around him seemed dangerous. But would he be worth fighting? he wondered. Standing up, Gexln picked up Darkness' Sorrow. He was still very much frustrated at the last memory he had recalled, but he was trying not to let that cloud his judgement.
He made his decision. He pointed Darkness' Sorrow at R. "If you want to continue, you're going to have to get through me" he said, feeling as though he'd found an opponent that may be a challenge to him after all.

Kaxar followed Louvel and Azurite, gliding along and enjoying every moment of it. She couldn't help but wince a little as Louvel answered Cid's question. He said it so bluntly, almost as though it was matter of fact, is that how he treats everything? she thought to herself. She kept gliding around, enjoying the keyblade glider more and more as she used it. "So, where are we going to be going?" she asked.

Was having a discussion with a few friends, and figured i would ask for everyone's opinions on this matter if you wish to provide it. How long in general in your opinion, if a person has every opportunity to post, should a person have to post? From what i've seen, the standard amount is 24 hours in most cases before people are given permission to move on, but what's your opinion on how long they should have?

Also sorry if this is poorly worded (i feel that it is), i'm having trouble thinking clearly as of right now.

Glen was a little hesitant to attack again, the wound from earlier still hurting quite a bit. He decided he needed a pick-me-up, and made the decision to use his potion. Chugging it down, he immediately felt stronger and ready to continue the battle.

Glen continued running after Ratigan. The moment he could, he ran over to Ratigan. He didn't know how, but something told him this was the abductor of the little girl's father. Anger still flowing through his body, he swung ran over and leapt into the air, swinging his keyblade in a vertical arc downwards. He didn't care if he got hit, all that mattered to him at the time was striking down Ratigan.

Kaxar was unsure about the keyblade glider, but she thought she may as well give it a try. She threw her keyblade into the air, and as it came down she jumped onto it, slamming the keyblade into the ground. She began panicking. "Oh crud oh crud oh **** is it broken?" she asked to nobody in particular, fearing the worst. She was unaccustomed to how strong the keyblade was. She picked it up off the ground, and breathed a sigh of relief. "Okay..no damage done" she said. She was hesitant to throw it again, but did it anyway. She made it onto the keyblade glider this time, and immediately began flying around in a small circle. "WOW, how did i never know about this?" she exclaimed excitedly.

Verox followed the king. This mouse is a king? How does a mouse get to be a king? he wondered. He was about to tell Mickey about his request to see the old man, but he wasn't sure that it was the best time, especially with company arriving shortly. He took note of the fact that the girl didn't seem to want to be there, but he wasn't sure why she was there. He decided to remain quiet. He calmly stood there and just waited, an accomplishment for someone as jumpy and impatient as himself.

Gexln was still in the old mansion, just walking inside looking at everything inside of there. He was still thinking, remembering. A wave of bitterness flowed through him as he remembered a certain person, his first real fight as a Nobody.

Verox landed on the steps in front of the clock tower, as Gexln landed several metres away from him, both on their feet but drenched in sweat and clearly exhausted. Verox had his keyblade out, pointed downwards at the ground, Gexln with Darkness' Sorrow raised and ready for anything.

"You're never... going to beat me" Gexln said between breaths. "I'll never... lose to you" Verox retaliated. "That's where you're wrong. The darkness will give me the strength to win" Gexln proclaimed. Verox laughed a little. "No, Gexln, that's where YOU'RE wrong. The darkness doesn't make you stronger if you can't control it. It holds you back, the light is the way to go. You're nothing but a monster who uses the darkness as an excuse to kill people!" Verox accused. Gexln flinched, being called a monster was something Glen had been called several times when experimenting with the darkness. He did not like it. "I am not a monster" he replied, trying to keep his voice as steady as possible. "You always have been, and you always will be. That's just who you are" Verox said. Gexln's fury welled up inside of him like a roaring fire. "I will control the darkness, anything can change!" he yelled furiously, sprinting towards Verox with raging fury in his eyes. Verox said nothing, running at Gexln.

Both warriors were determined not to lose, but both were beginning to have doubts about whether they could win the fight and survive or not. The blades clashed against each other with such force that they make a loud clanging noise that echoed through most of Twilight Town. They stood there for a brief moment, both standing there trying to overpower the other, both had their teeth gritted in sheer determination. Eventually, Gexln lost concentration for just a second, but a second was all Verox needed. Pushing his advantage, he swung his keyblade upwards and disarmed Gexln, Darkness' Sorrow flying several metres away and crashing into the ground. Verox pointed Rejection of Fate at Gexln's throat, only to lower it a second later. "Prove it" he said. "Prove it?" Gexln echoed, unsure of what Verox meant. "Prove that you can change. Prove that you can control the darkness, and then I in turn will prove to you that darkness is weaker than light" Verox said. Gexln eyed Verox with suspicion. What's he playing at? he thought to himself. Very slowly, he took a few steps backwards and retrieved Darkness' Sorrow. "You should have killed me, because the next time our blades cross will be the last" Gexln stated coldly. He opened a dark corridor. "And i won't be the one that loses" he said, stepping through the dark corridor.
Gexln punched the wall in anger, the wound to his pride still deeper than he would've liked to think. "Damnit, i shouldn't have lost that! I won't lose again!" he shouted angrily. He turned his back to the wall and let himself just fall against it, leaning against the wall in a slump. "I already control the darkness almost completely, but it isn't enough. When i have complete control over the darkness, he'll know what true fear is.." he vowed.

Glen shook his head and shakily stood on his feet. How he'd managed to crash into the clock tower he wasn't surprised, he wasn't the most graceful. His attention was caught when Olivia cried out for her father, which was followed closely by the sound of the laughter. He wasn't sure what was going on, but he figured that the laughter had something to do with this little girl's father disappearing. All feelings of joy of finding others left him, to be replaced by others of anger. He knew what it was like to lose a father, he wasn't going to let the same thing happen to Olivia's. He went running further into the clock tower without a word, trying to find the source of the laughter.

Kaxar tilted her head to the side slightly, clearly confused. "Keyblade glider?" she asked. She'd heard the term before, but she couldn't remember how to use her keyblade as a glider. The idea of gliding on a simple key seemed far-fetched to her, not realizing it transformed. "I don't think i've used one before, teach me how?" she asked curiously.

Verox stopped, not expecting to meet someone so soon. Slowly he looked up, the high pitched voice seeming a little out of place to him. What he saw in front of him was definitely not what he had expected. Truth be told, he definitely looked old, but he was not a man. "A mouse?" he murmured under his breath. He shrugged his shoulders; no sense in making enemies this soon, he had enough of them. The old mouse didn't look too threatening to him anyway. "Name's Verox, who are you?" he asked, a tone that suggested he was cautious but not threatening.

Verox had arrived at Mysterious Tower. He changed his keyblade glider back into its keyblade form, having it fulfilled its purpose of getting him there. He looked up at the mysterious tower. "This tower has many stories about it, one of which was that rumour about an old man here with the power to make people keyblade masters" he said, taking a couple of steps towards the tower. "But that rumour was around what? about 15 years ago or so. Wonder if he's still here.." he added on. He walked the rest of the way, over to the tower itself. "Well, only one way to find out" he stated, with a small laugh at the end of it. He pushed open the doors and walked inside.

Kaxar took a couple of minutes to take the story in properly. Two seconds later, she spoke up, creating a time paradox unintentionally. "I'll help in whatever way i can, if she got that power darkness would destroy everything...again" Kaxar said, the memory of Glen slaying multiple people, controlled by darkness, all too familiar to her. She still had True Light's Flight summoned, just holding it there. She knew that somehow, the keyblade would help with their objective.

"I'm sorry to hear, that's so sad" Kaxar said, unsure of exactly what she should be saying in the situation. "I don't know many people here at all, i don't know many people anywhere else either really, but there's a big castle around here, and big castles usually have to have someone important running them don't they?" She said, trying to give him an idea without telling him what to do. She gave a warm, friendly smile and spoke again "but if i hear anything anyway i'll be sure to tell you!" she said. She wasn't sure why she trusted people so easily, or always saw the best in people; perhaps it was the fact her element was light, or perhaps it was because she found it very difficult to hate or even dislike somebody unless it was related to the darkness, but she always genuinely wanted to help.

Glen continued flying after them, and was surprised when Aden went gliding towards him. He didn't want to explain who he was exactly, at least not for now, but he wanted to prove he wasn't a threat. But how? He had a not-so-fantastic idea, and quickly summoned his keyblade, forgetting momentarily that it was in glider form. For a brief few seconds he continued going along in the air due to the momentum, and held his keyblade up high for Aden to see. "One of you!" he responded, smiling as he thought what a good idea it was. He then realized his flaw and began falling towards the ground at a high speed. "Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii-" he said, quickly turning his keyblade back into a glider. He flew back up in pursuit of the others once again. "See, i'm one of you, a wielder!" he shouted.

Kaxar now only noticed the other people. "Oh okay, sorry for keeping you then.." Kaxar said, feeling as though she was in the way. She then had an idea. "What if i came with you to help protect others too? I need to get better at using my keyblade to save him, so i'll have to learn sooner or later right?" she asked. She felt it was a good idea to ask, and maybe she could learn more about the keyblade as she went along.

He'd finally reached Tram Common. Gexln looked around, only to realize that yet again there was nobody in sight. "Where is everyone, and why is there never anybody to fight?" he asked to nobody in particular. He walked around the path a few times, still unable to find anyone. However, he came to a stop when he saw the opening to the old mansion. Going through the opening, he ran towards the old mansion.

When he arrived at the old mansion, the first thing he noticed were the gates. Those huge, imposing gates. As usual, they were locked. "Who's always the one locking these?" he asked, wondering aloud. He quickly climbed over the gate and dropped on the other side. He sighed. The last time he'd been there, had been when he had first learned of his existence as a Nobody and found Darkness' Sorrow. He looked at his blade now.

Gexln was standing in the foyer of the old mansion. How he'd gotten there was simple enough to figure out, if a little odd; he'd woken up there. The last thing he remembered was Glen losing his heart to the darkness, and then he'd woken up there in the old mansion. Walking up the stairs, he nearly bumped into the man that was standing there. He was about 5"8, he looked as though he worked out quite a lot, he had black hair and he was wearing a gray shirt with a picture of a keyblade on it.

"Hey, i don't know who you are, but you're in my way" Gexln said roughly. The man looked almost shocked that someone had spoken to him. "Haven't seen you around here before, you new here?" he asked. "Who wants to know?" Gexln asked. The man laughed. He then held out his hand. "Name's Luke, i've been living in this mansion for a couple of months now, though i can't say that i've had people break in before" he said in a joking manner. Gexln shook his head. "I didn't break in, i woke up here" he said.

Luke's face took on a more serious look. "Woke up here?" he questioned, clearly confused. "Yeah, the last thing i remember was someone that looked like me being overtaken by darkness, and then i woke up here" he replied. "Wait a minute, you're a Nobody?" Luke asked, eyes wide in shock. "Nobody?" Gexln queried. "Yeah, you know. Someone who's lost their heart to the darkness? I hear they're pretty strong, never met one myself though" Luke answered. "Well, til now that is" he added.

Luke turned around and picked up a blade that was leaning against the wall. He spun around to look at Gexln once more, holding out the blade for him to see. "If you're a Nobody, there's going to be a whole heap of trouble you'll get into. If the stories are true, Nobodies have a knack for getting into trouble. So you're going to need this weapon. Her name's Darkness' Sorrow, i've had her for a while now. Better keep it safe for me alright?" Luke asked, handing Darkness' Sorrow to Gexln, to which Gexln responded by accepting the blade. "Anyway, i imagine it must've been a little weird being overtaken by darkness huh?" he asked.

"So that person that looked like me...was me?" Gexln asked, getting more confused by the second. Luke laughed once again. "Yep, you got it. That used to be you, and now the person you are now, that's the new you. So...what's your name?" He asked. "My name's Glen" he answered. "Wrong! Not anymore it isn't. New person, new name. That's how it works. So, i'll ask again. What's your name?" Luke asked. Gexln closed his eyes in concentration. For a brief moment, he could feel the darkness inside of him ebbing away at his being. He opened his eyes, knowing his name. "My name is Gexln, Nobody of the Dark" he said in a serious tone. Once more, Luke held out his hand, as did Gexln. They shook hands this time. "Well then, nice to meet you, Gexln"

"Ah, you taught me so much. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have been able to control the darkness at all" Gexln said out loud. He walked into the mansion, up the stairs and took a seat on the top one. He decided he would wait there for a while in the hopes that the old mansion attracted some attention, and maybe a challenger of worth.
