SoS won this one for me, I've never enjoyed a rp more and Krowley has done an outstandingly brilliant job of creating and managing it. The storyline, while based off of KH, draws you in to the point you never want to stop RPing, the stats and abilities and all that make you feel like you're playing a version of the game itself online, and god damnit Krowley if you ever turn into an evil super villain we're all screwed because i'm sure you'd do as much of a good job of that as you did with this!
Jayn has obtained my vote!
After a while of mulling it over, I decided that in the end it was Jayn that deserved the vote *shot* I picked Cupid's Brew, Jayn did a fantastic job on both of these and should be proud of herself for them! I just personally preferred Cupid's Brew a little more.
I came into this thread thinking "Oh, biggest godmodder, this one's no contest!" and then I saw that Bushy was on the list. Suddenly, it went from an easy vote to a painful process. Finally though, I came to a decision. *shudders* Pyramid Head....
This one really had me stumped. Had to take quite a while to think about it really, and in the end it was really really hard for me to actually make a decision! Although ultimately it had to be Beucefilous that won it out, I've seen a few of the rps he has been in and not only has he improved quite a bit but he's still doing it, and I always look forward to reading his posts now.
Jayn's art consistently blows me away with how good it is. The pieces she does usually stand out and are beautiful in themselves, and these pieces are no different! The others did great jobs though, my decision was a really tough one between Jayn and What? but yeah, in the end Jayn's won out.
What? absolutely blew me away with the style of writing here. The professionalism is evident in this one, and he most definitely knows what to write and how to write it!
Well damn this is some pretty good art, I like most of the works submitted in this, but I feel like Dinny's won me over on this one.
Both of these photographers are simply amazing, almost wish I could vote twice but that would kinda ruin the point of this. In the end I had to go with Marushi's, I love the natural effects that she's managed to capture in them.
As the last of the creatures fell, Skadi felt herself relax a little bit. Though they hadn't been in much danger, as the Frettes hadn't seemed particularly powerful, she was relieved that they were no longer under attack. "It still seems odd that they would attack as they did, after they were shown kindness" she said, voicing her thoughts aloud. Perhaps the creature had mistaken the kind gesture for something threatening, or perhaps there were young Frettes there, or perhaps the Frettes were simply an aggressive sort of animal, she didn't know much about the animals of this place so there was no way of telling. Upon hearing Kessha's explanation of the situation, Skadi turned her attention to her. The foresting virus, Skadi had never heard of such a thing. She knew of many illnesses and their cures alike, but never one that went by that name, and the symptoms were strange. She could ponder on it no longer, she would not simply wonder about the illness while someone was in danger. Skadi stepped over to Kessha and Rachelle. "You're right, she can't walk in this state. Even if she felt fine, if she does not have much time then she should conserve energy where she can" she said. She turned to face Kessha then. "I do not know of these forests, or of the creatures within them, but I give you my word I will do what I can to help you" she promised. What Skadi could do was something she tended to avoid, she could fight. She could protect Kessha from the creatures inside the forest of deception, and she had every intention to. As long as she had her staff, she would use its power to assist the injured girl. She awaited the decision from everyone else, praying silently that they decided that both her and the one known as Rachelle were right and moved on from there.
In a most humourous way, as per usual.
Glen parried a kick from one of the soldier heartless. Soldier heartless weren't particularly tough on their own, he knew, but when they were in large numbers they became formiddable foes. Swinging his keyblade horizontally at the heartless, the heartless was dispatched in one fell blow. He turned to notice that others seemed to be fighting hard, so there was absolutely no way that he was going to slow down. Couldn't let himself be shown up by the others, after all. He leaped over to another soldier heartless and engaged in combat with it.
Hyperbolic time chamber OP.
Gaius walked around in the forgotten city. He was walking alongside his guardian, Golies, in their hunt for Keshin. If it were the years before, he probably would have been playing around with his sister, Suzy, but he had left that life behind when he'd discovered his "ability". "Why are we doing this again?" he questioned. There have long been rumours of Keshin in this city, and if there are than any people who seek refuge in this city may be in danger. Besides, Gaius, I thought you enjoyed fighting came the telepathic response from Golies. Gaius continued walking. "I do, nothing gets the adrenaline flowing like a fierce fight, but killing something is another matter" he responded, continuing to walk.
Gexln caught the halfstone, which seemed oddly heavy in his hands. Was it because of the darkness? R explained to him that the other half was needed to turn the tides of the war, which would mean that he believed he could stop the fighting? How would he do that? And would it mean that Kaxar would be harmed in the process? Maybe he could find a way to get the stone without Kaxar needing to be hurt. He realized R was waiting for a response. "You won't need another method, I'll do it" Gexln answered. He tossed around the stone for a little bit, testing it's weight as he walked away a short distance from R. He then sat down and crossed his legs, making sure to put the stone down on the ground in front of him. What R said had bothered him slightly, for it was not a where that Gexln was trying to find, it was a when; something Gexln had never tried before. Usually he just found the current location of something, but now he was supposed to find something from the past, could he do it? Darkness had existed since the beginning, so in theory he would be able to find it, but without trying he'd never know. He flexed his fingers cracking the knuckles as he took a deep breath. "Well, here we go" he said quietly. He began the process, focusing intensely on the stone's dark signature. The first thing that popped up was something he knew, that the stone was directly in front of him, but he needed to go past that. He tried specifically looking for the object's past. People turning over the stone thinking nothing of it, people wanting to gain its power for themselves, and people that just plain wanted to know what the stone was, plenty of images came up. He gritted his teeth in determination as he continued delving into the stone's past. Searching, searching for the other half, until finally...was that it? Yes, there it was! That was the time! He stopped searching and returned his mind to the present, his forehead dripping with sweat. The dark signature technique had taken more out of him than he had realized. "I..know...where it is" Gexln said, between breaths that made it sound as though he could drop dead at any moment. As much as Caleb wanted to battle Valinton, to stop this man who could possibly be in allegiance with R, he couldn't. What he knew now, that he hadn't known before he had met Louvel and the others, was that there were people who were most likely in danger, people that couldn't defend themselves. If he stayed to fight Valinton, he could very well be too late to save them. His anger welled up, either way he wasn't going to like the outcome. "We're not here to fight you, not now. There will come a time that our blades will cross, but that is not today" he said, his frustration not lacking in the tone of which he spoke. He turned to face Louvel again. "We should probably go help the others" he said for what seemed to be the 50th time.

A dire situation, hidden potential, and lack of it when in safety? That would explain the keyblade itself not being able to be summoned once he got back. So, if what R had said was right, then all he needed to do was practice to be able to use the keyblade? His attention was snapped back to the present when R asked him a question. He scratched his head thoughtfully. "Well, yeah, but it can get pretty tiring sometimes, it depends how far away the person is. Although I can still do it, but I need to know the scent of the person's darkness myself, some item of their possession or even just being around them for a minute would do, why do you ask?" he responded. He wondered what exactly it was that R had in mind, and why it would require the use of his darkness-tracking ability.
You can beat Dragon Maleficent with ease in KH1 without using a single cure. All you do is sit back as far away from her as possible, lock on to her, and spam the triangle button. Your party members can weaken her to the point she's literally one hit away from being beaten, then you do the honours. Boring, and takes a long time, but you can manage it if you're that desperate to not use a healing spell/item. To answer the question though, I think KH2 was quite a lot easier than the original. The bosses seemed to be a little easier to beat, as did the enemies in the game itself in my opinion. The fact that you could literally heal then just run around/evade until the mp bar refilled only made it that much easier, as in KH1 you had to actually risk something to get the reward of more mp.
Caleb was knocked back by the blast, but managed to land on his feet thanks to his naturally good reflexes. "What would happen is the one of light would find a way out, darkness can't keep me trapped forever" he responded quickly. It was then that Louvel demanded that Valinton leave, and he found himself feeling slightly appreciate of it. He was still ready to battle Valinton if it came down to it. "Well, where do we begin? We fought some mind-reading wacko, saved Kaxar, and then I taught Xero how to control her darkness; something that will come in use, i'm sure" Gexln replied, answering R's question. He deliberately didn't tell R about the D-link, the less he knew of Gexln getting stronger the better. "Oh, also I learned how to use one of these" he said. He put Darkness' Sorrow in his right hand, then held out his left. He closed his eyes in concentration and silently willed the keyblade to him. Nothing happened. He cursed under his breath and tried once more, but again nothing happened. "I learned how to summon a keyblade, but it looks like I can't do it right now" he explained, doing his best to hide his irritation at being unable to summon the keyblade. "So long as it helps me free those that have allowed darkness to overtake them, that's all that matters. If I have to shoulder a burden or two along the way, that's what I will do, your majesty" Kaxar responded politely, while speaking in a tone that made it sound as though she believed the words she spoke wholeheartedly, which she did.
