Gexln froze for a moment. Xero was right, he couldn't fight anymore, and he knew if he kept going he was going to get himself killed. But knowing that, he refused to give in. "As a somebody, I was bullied and had nobody to turn to really, and it was Kara that was nice to me. She got hurt because of me back then, Xero, yet she continued doing nice things for me. Now get out of my way and let me do this one thing for her!" Gexln demanded. He pushed past Xero and continued towards Xindai. The fact that he could die was one that set fear into him, a feeling that was unusual for him, yet he had to keep going. Caleb couldn't help but notice that somehow he'd ended up being the leader, at least when it came to navigating Twilight Town anyway. He knew Gexln had promised to destroy Twilight Town, but where would he start? So far he hadn't heard any more screams, it seemed the attack had let off, so where was he? He stopped walking suddenly. "I think..he may have not followed through with his threat" he said aloud, to nobody in particular. He turned to look at the one that had referred to R as 'scarfs'. "Gexln seemed to be working alongside R, R was at the old mansion last I recall. Why would he be needing an old mansion for?" he questioned.
Gexln's body ached from the absolute ass-kicking Xindai had just delivered. He laid on the ground for a few moments, motionless and bloody. After those few moments he stood up, slowly but surely. "I made a promise, and I'm going to keep it" he said. He was starting to have difficulty breathing, and his vision was getting slightly blurry, but he would not falter. Thankfully, the impact of the roundhouse kick had knocked Gexln far enough away that the Dark Thundaga barely missed him. He was in no condition to fight, but there was no turning back now. He raised his keyblade weakly, but did his best not to show it, and he looked Xindai straight in the eye with the fury of a thousand substantially obese children deprived of cake. He began staggering towards Xindai, prepared to end the battle.
Jason was sincerely caught off guard by both Alux's disengage, as well as the vines. The thorns stung as they penetrated his skin, and from the looks of it more were on the way. He prepared to raise the temperature so much that the vines either melted or set aflame, but then he realized he would burn with them; a thought he did not particularly relish. Just my luck, I'm here for not even a month and there's already some fcking vampire trying to kill me! he thought to himself. He was unsure of exactly how to free himself without hurting himself. He was certain that if he cut them the others would repeat the process, until the point either he escaped or he was killed. If he did that, there was a chance he would die, and he was most certainly not a gambling man. There was only one thing to do. His eyes changed colour from their usual brown colour to a colour that was a faded golden tone. This was his light manipulation magic. The area around Jason began glowing, the light itself being emphasised greatly even though it was at night, before cutting out altogether and plunging the area into pitch black. He had to hope that he could fare better in the dark than his adversary.
Tossing his keyblade up into the air, Glen leapt after it and landed on his keyblade glider with a slight balance lapse as he did so. Enough that he shook a little upon landing, but not enough that he fell. He followed the others into the portal without knowing most of them. Part of him wasn't entirely sure if he should have followed due to not knowing them well, but part of him was keen for another adventure.
Jason stood his ground. The other vampire was fast, but Jason had seen faster. His teeth gritted together in determination, Jason was now trying to hold the spear back; a feat not very easily with such a small sword. He needed to do something to change the outcome of this clash, and he needed to do it now. He quickly placed his hand on the spear, letting go of the small sword with one hand for a moment. Immediately he began lowering the temperature of the weapon, hoping to freeze it to the point that he could simply shatter it before the vampire broke free. In his conflict, he barely noticed the drunkard heading towards them, his attention almost entirely on Alux.
Jason raised an eyebrow at the wanderer comment. "A wanderer? That I am, but every man has a reason for wandering. Mine is to hunt down and kill as many vampires as I can, what's yours?" he questioned. He didn't give his opponent time to answer. "Regardless of your reasons, what you have done is unforgivable, and you're going to be punished for your sins now" he stated. Yes, he was over exaggerating just how much of a believer of justice he was, but what was the point of slaying undead if you couldn't enjoy yourself once in a while? He tilted his head back in the direction of the teenager as a gesture, who was now unconscious; presumably from stress. "See that teen there? I need to feed, and I picked him. You know what else I hunger for? Your death" he said as he dashed forward and lunged forward with his small blade.
Glen was satisfied with how things went, sort of. On one hand, he was happy for Cinderella and that he'd been able to help out finding her missing shoe. He could only imagine how annoying it would be for her to only have one. Yet on the other hand, he couldn't help but feel that he had missed something along the way, like he was misinterpreting something. He shrugged it off. Point is, everyone appears to be alive he thought to himself.
Jason cursed under his breath, his ploy had not worked. He held his cane, ready to begin fighting at a moment's notice, until a vampire that was clearly drunk passed out right in front of him. He made a mental note to kill the vampire if he got the chance, but for now his attention was having to be directed back to the vampire that was contesting the teenager. "A servant? No, I won't allow you to create any more vampires. If you wish to fight, that's your choice. Although I must warn you, you should have taken the easy way and saved yourself the suffering" Jason stated. He had a firm belief in his words as well as his fighting ability, and quickly he removed the end of the cane to reveal the small sword it was disguised as. He held it in front of him. If he had to, he believed he could escape by manipulating what little light there was in the area.
Jason turned to look at Alux. A chill crept up his spine as the realization set in that he seemed to be face to face with another vampire. He didn't want to frighten away the vampire, although he doubted he could, so he casually leaned on his cane. He heard footsteps coming from behind him, and quickly turned to see the human running away. He raced over and grabbed the victim's foot, then holding it against the ground he simply lowered the temperature to the point that he froze the human's foot to the ground. He then turned back to Alux. "As you can see, I've already laid claim to this one. Why don't you walk away and hunt for another?" he suggested. His plan was simple, he would wait until the vampire turned its back, then he would strike. At least, that's what he hoped for.
Stefan was at an old, run down home in Germany, situated in the town that the conference had been held in. He'd traveled there only a few weeks ago upon hearing about the conference from Jason, who in turn had heard about it from one of the vampire servants of an attending vampire. Stefan sat down on the chair in the kitchen, activating the gauntlets he held in front of him. The gauntlets had small wires running into his nervous system itself, so that the thoughts transmitted would relay to the gauntlets as well and set off a certain reaction, depending on what the thought was. In this case, it was a thought centred around heating up the small spikes on the ends of the gauntlets so that they caught aflame. He was hungry, and he had not had time to purchase an oven for the home yet, so his gauntlets would have to suffice for now. He placed the now-dead-chicken inside the kitchen sink and proceeded to try his hand at cooking the dead beast while he waited for Jason to return. Jason Purgo was wandering the streets. He knew the conference was being held, or rather had already been held. He had been unable to make it in time, Stefan was far too eager to show him a new trick he had learned with his gauntlet. Learning to cook with it, or something along those lines. He walked casually with the cane held out in front of him. If anyone looked carefully, they would see by the way he walked that clearly did not need the cane, however Jason did not carry it for walking purposes. He continued walking, and he felt he was getting close to his objective now. His objective was remarkably simple, it was a human teenage boy. He despised the fact that he had to feed on the blood of humans but if he did not, he would die..again. Being a vampire was something he saw as an abomination; a creature that was supposed to be dead but wasn't. So when he fed, he tended to choose victims that would leave as little impact as possible. The teenager he had chosen, in this instance, was a local thug that seemed to enjoy beating people up for no reason at all. A fitting target for the feed, he thought. He rounded a corner into an alleyway, and there he saw the teenager. He was unable to stop the familiar popping out of his fangs as he approached the teenager, it was time to feast.
"Your creation?" Gexln questioned. He twisted his body out of the way in an attempt to avoid Xindai's attack, but he wasn't quick enough. The attack hit him in the side in such a way it did not cut him open, but it did leave a large stinging sensation. At this rate, i'm going to end up the same as Verox, he thought to himself. "My darkness is my own" he said in a grim, serious voice. He lunged straight at Xindai with the keyblade, then with his right hand he fired several dark firagas towards the dark creator at point blank range.
Gexln leaped backwards slightly, avoiding the glaive, but the keyblade was another matter. Seeing the weapon swinging at him, he in turn swung Midnight Venture at Xindai in an attempt to parry the weapon. The keyblades clashed with a loud clang, and Gexln reacted quickly, disengaging and stepping back. Xindai's fighting capabilities were amazing, even when he wasn't using his telekinetic powers. If it had been any other situation, Gexln may have tried to convince Xindai to side with him, but not when Kaxar was still in danger. It was that moment that Xero shattered Xindai's mask. In one hit too, which was surprising. Just how strong was Xero? He couldn't help but wonder though, how much darkness did Xero have left inside of her after his earlier attack? Gexln stabbed the end of his keyblade into the ground and then began focusing immensely. He began pouring a lot of his darkness into the keyblade, empowering it to the point that an aura of darkness could be seen radiating from it. While he did this, he had also been transferring some of the darkness he had taken from Xero earlier back to her, as well as some of his own. If you use this to try and attack me again, I promise i'll kill you he thought as the process completed. He took up his keyblade again, it felt heavier yet at the same time he found it easier to wield, perhaps it was because of the immense amount of his darkness inside of it. He leapt high up into the air, and attempted to perform an overhead slash on Xindai.
Skadi decided the best move would be to use another fireball. She couldn't just stand by and let everyone be hurt, not when she had the power to stop Kain. Focusing on the heat she formed in her palm, she swiftly threw another fireball at the guard captain.

Spoiler: BGM Verox saw the attack coming while he was dashing towards Xindai. He was traveling so fast, however, that he was unable to stop in time. Instead he tensed himself up and braced himself for the impact. No amount of preparation could have readied Verox for the sheer force of the keyblade. The weapon went straight through him, taking all hope of survival with it. His body was knocked back quite a distance from the force of the attack, and he laid down on his back. His energy depleting quickly, as was his life-force, Verox was fading fast. As he was dying, the clouds themselves seemed to part as a hallucination of Beuce emerged from them. "You must go to the Dagobah system. There you will find the wielder who trained me. Ha ha, just kidding. I just like to go inside peoples' minds and quote star wars at them" the hallucination said. Verox coughed up a small amount of blood. "I think I'm a little too dead to do any traveling" he responded between breaths. "Use the Force! Just kidding, the force isn't real" the HaBeuceination said. With this, the last spark of life left Verox's body, and the fiery keyblade wielder passed away. Gexln didn't know how to react when Verox fell. Part of him wanted to believe he was alive purely so Gexln himself could kill him, yet part of him to survive just for the sake of surviving. Either way, one thing was certain; Verox wasn't going to save Kaxar. Gexln reached into his pocket and took out the charm that Kaxar had made him. "I made a promise, and I intend to keep it" he said quietly to himself. His body began shaking with sheer fury at the thought of Xindai torturing Kaxar, and he began sprinting at Xindai with new-found strength. As he ran, a swirl of darkness surrounded the charm, before a keyblade manifested in his hands. He continued running towards Xindai, not taking his eyes off him for even a second. "Xindai, i'll kill you!" he yelled.
Caleb glanced at Beuce as he walked. "I have no idea who you are, but something about R fills the very air around him with dread, so you would be wise not to take him lightly" he said calmly. The anger Satsujin had in his eyes, the hatred he had shown, surely they would not be for a man that could be taken down as easily as the white haired boy claimed? Gexln saw the attack coming towards him too late. The attack hit him full on, sending the Nobody crashing to the ground several feet away. He got up in mere moments, his body in quite a lot of pain from the blaze. He was about to accuse Verox of trying to kill him before realizing how stupid it would have sounded. If Verox had wanted to kill him, or even injure him, before that moment he had had ample opportunity to do so. He looked across at Darkness' Sorrow, laying over on the ground below. He wished he had taken the time to retrieve it, but it was too late now. Verox was impressed. Not only had Xindai evaded the pincer attack, but he had done so in such a way that it had forced Verox to hit Gexln. Xindai was a formidable opponent indeed. The fire within him was slowing down, his energy running lower than he would have liked. It was now or never. Verox's entire body caught aflame, his body radiating a massive amount of heat. Using the flames he propelled himself high into the air and floated there for a brief moment held up by wings of pure flame. "Phoenix Impact!" he shouted out as he dove straight towards Xindai. The wingspan on the flames that went with him was wide enough that it would be extremely difficult to dodge, however for every second that he dashed towards Xindai the flames themselves burned his skin.
Yup, i'm no longer a child. Feels weird tbh lol
