Gexln froze. Before Xero, it had been years since he had had a friend, and now he was getting a hug? I must be getting soft, geeze he thought to himself. Hesitantly, he hugged Xero back. "It's me, of course I'm going to do something reckless. No need to worry though, I'll be fine, I don't think the people on the other side have anyone that'll cause me trouble" Gexln replied with a slight laugh. He then let go of Xero, and looked at the dark corridor he had created. "Besides, if anything does go wrong you'll be there to have my back right?" the Nobody added, as he stepped into the dark corridor.

As R finished speaking, Gexln now turned to look at the great moon. So, that's the thing that we're fighting for? I would've hoped it would've been..different? It was described to make it sound like it was a weapon, it'll be interesting to see how this plays out, Gexln thought to himself. He then turned to Xero. "You ready for this?" he asked. He then created a dark corridor, one that lead straight to the keyblade graveyard, the place that kingdom hearts seemed to be beckoning him to. "Once we step through here, there's no going back" the Nobody warned.

Right as Kingdom Hearts appeared was when Kaxar's cure seemed to take effect. Caleb stood up slowly. His back felt completely fine, but the memory still stung a little. "There it is, Kingdom Hearts. I've heard about it, but I never thought I'd get to see it myself" he spoke quietly. Caleb then did the same thing that Louvel did and tossed his keyblade into the air. He hoped that it turned into a glider, just as his did, and miraculously that was just what it did. He leaped onto the keyblade glider and hovered still in the air for a few moments. "This is it, this is how I end it" he said, a little grimly, as he shot off in the direction Louvel had gone in.

Perhaps Kaxar may have reacted to Beuce's song, but by that point she was used to his antics, even something as odd as using his keyblade as a guitar was not something that threw her off. All she could think of was the war that seemed to be there, and the fact that she would more than likely have to face Gexln. She clenched her fist tightly around her keyblade. Maybe I can find a way to save him she thought to herself, as she too summoned her keyblade glider and followed Caleb and Louvel.

Zeke was still a little on edge after the small amount of turbulence, which didn't make the travel any easier, when he suddenly heard the announcement of an emergency landing. He sighed. "Geez, things are already getting more interesting than back home" he said quietly. Zeke gripped the arms of the chair tightly as they went down, and after a short time it was over; they had landed.

Zeke stood up and stretched as he did so. He was grateful to be on the land and out of the air, and his mood bettered slightly when he heard about the storm. He liked rain, he always had, they gave him a sort of calming feeling. Maybe it was the sound it made when it hit tin roof, or maybe it was just the general change of atmosphere, but the generally gloomy boy genuinely felt a little bit happy during storms. However, despite how much he liked the rain, he didn't want to annoy the staff for PokAcademy on the trip there, so he raced down the staircase. He was about to continue on, but he turned around to look at the kid who had bothered to speak to him before.

"Victor, right? Hurry up and get off the plane, wouldn't want to get left behind would ya?" Zeke teased as he turned back to face the base, and ran inside.

The little girl was still uncertain about whether or not she wanted to go through with The Miracle. Yes, she trusted Nurse Rachel, but she didn't trust any of the other nurses or doctors in the building. What reason did she have to trust any of them? But she wanted to be like the other children, she didn't want to be as she was. She wanted to know happiness, to smile, and to forget all about depression.

    "OH MY THIS TASTES AMAZING!"

Samantha's attention turned to the male that had quickly swallowed the pill. He had seemed so excited to swallow it, he had seemed to enjoy the taste as well, and now he was laying sleeping on the ground, he seemed fine; or at least as fine as anybody in there could be considered. Samantha looked at the pill, and the glass of water, and then slowly reached out for both. She hesitated for a moment. Once she swallowed the pill, there was no going back. She looked at Mr Bear, who lay next to her tucked into bed. "Mr Bear, there's only one of them. You stay awake and look after Mommy and Daddy, I'll go to sleep and get all better" she said, trying to look as happy about it as she could manage. She then placed the pill into the water and quickly swallowed both it and the water.

Immediately, Sammy felt the effects. She felt drowsy, but not the exhausted kind. She seemed almost..relaxed. "Mr Bear, he lied..this doesn't taste amazing at all" Samantha said drearily as she fell back into a laying position, still underneath the covers. "Nighty night Mr Bear, take care" were the last words the small child uttered before sleep claimed her.

Glen had finally got what he wanted; a battle with Shan-Yu. He was fighting not only to prove his strength, but also to avenge the soldiers that had fallen trying to stop the monster. He was close enough that he could see the clear lack of hesitation in Shan-Yu's eyes, and easily see the dark aura that hovered around him. Summoning his keyblade, Frolic Flame, Glen whirled around quickly, holding his keyblade outwards, as he spun into Shan-Yu and used his Fire Strike ability.

Samantha sat quietly after hearing the explanation, and after getting changed, but she was certainly not calm. She sat there on the bed, fretting and worrying without a sound. After all the times she had brought up how she didn't want to go through with The Miracle, all the moments she had shared her fear of not waking up from it, now she was staring at the woman that would administer it to her. She was still afraid of it, and yet..

She longed to fit in with the other boys and girls she had once known, she wanted desperately to be considered 'normal', to not be bullied because of her illness. Wasn't this the way to go about it? She was still a little scared that she wouldn't wake up, but Nurse Rachel had said she'd be okay, and Nurse Rachel wouldn't lie. She looked down at Mr Bear, who she had done everything she could to bring with her, not that there had been much of a problem about it. She picked up the bear and placed it underneath the covers so that he would be nice and warm, and then she herself climbed underneath them. Samantha then raised her hand and asked her question.

"How long will it take to fall asleep after the medicine?" she asked. It was a simple enough question, but she wanted to know just how long she would be worrying for before she could worry no longer.

A brown haired boy sat silently in the plane. He had wanted to go to the PokAcademy for quite a long time, and that feeling hadn't gone away. There were few things Zeke Catser found thrilling, or even enjoyable for that matter, but the idea of going to the PokAcademy was one of them. Although, he certainly wished that the method of getting there hadn't been in a plane. Zeke wasn't afraid of flying, but he wasn't particularly comfortable either. The fact that there seemed to be another kid just glancing at him from time to time, almost looking like he was analysing him, didn't help one bit.

Zeke briefly met the boy's gaze as he sat across from him. He was being made uncomfortable by this trip already, and he hadn't even gotten to the PokAcademy yet. Zeke sighed quietly. Sometimes, life was just such a drag. He made no effort to shake Victor's hand as he introduced himself, rather Zeke turned to look at the side of the plane, as though there was something very fascinating there, and simply replied "Zeke, not that it's any of your business" in a gruff tone.

Samantha was still sobbing at what she believed to be the betrayal by her parents. No matter what she tried to think of, whether it was all her toys back at home, or the warm smile of her mother, nothing seemed to cheer her up; nothing would stop the tears. She hated depression, she hated the fact that she saw things that people said weren't really there, and most of all she hated being treated differently. She wanted to be just like all the other little boys and girls, but that was impossible unless she went to sleep for The Miracle. She couldn't even bring herself to do that though, her paranoia saw to that. Suddenly a light knocking sound interrupted her thoughts.

The young girl looked up and for a brief moment her sobbing quietened as she wondered who it was. Nurse Rachel peered through the doorway, a face that Sammy was familiar with. Nurse Rachel was Samantha's favorite nurse, and probably the one that she saw the most too. Samantha quietly sobbed still though, still hurting over the recent incident with her parents. Upon being asked if she needed anything though, she couldn't take it.

Samantha broke down once more, wailing very loudly. She pulled with all her strength against the restraints that held her down to her bed, but to no avail; she wasn't going anywhere. She slumped her head in defeat, still crying, as she opened her mouth to speak.

"Nurse Rachel..please don't make me go to sleep" she begged, her voice incredibly shaky due to the immense sadness mixed with paranoia inside of her.

Both of Samantha's parents sat down on the bed beside their daughter now. They had been arguing for some time, each parent trying to convince 'Sammy' to go through with The Miracle, and each of them failing. If there was one thing that their daughter had inherited from them, it was their stubbornness. Samantha's mother decided to make one more attempt though, one that would hopefully change her daughter's mind.

"Sammy, you have to understand. The special nap they'll put you into, it's going to fix everything. You won't see the imaginary creatures, you won't be as unhappy as you are, and they'll let you come home. Don't you want to come home, Samantha?" the woman asked. Samantha nodded slowly. She wanted many things, as all 9 year olds did, but one of the bigger ones was to sleep in her own bed, in her home. Although, there was still one thing that bothered her. "What about Mr Bear?" she asked. Her mother sighed. While Samantha cherished Mr Bear, her mother was the complete opposite. She saw the bear as the biggest obstacle preventing Samantha from having real friends, from getting the motivation to do anything for herself.

"Can't you leave Mr Bear here, in his home?" she asked. This struck a major nerve in the young girl, one that upset her more than almost anything else. To her, it was as though her mother had just asked her to abandon her best friend to be alone forever, which in a sense she had. She shook her head quickly. "No" she answered.
"Why do you have to have that bear with you?"
"Because Mr Bear is my best friend"
"I think he needs to stay here, at the hospital, isn't that what he would want?"
    "Would you leave Daddy here?"
    "No, of course not"
    "Why not?"
"Because Sammy, Daddy is real and Mr Bear is just a stuffed toy"

A loud gasp was heard from Samantha. She had never seen Mr Bear as a stuffed toy, he had always been there when she needed him. Whenever she needed someone to talk to, to cry on, he was there and her parents were not. And now her parents were saying that he wasn't even real? "G-go away" Samantha said quietly, tears beginning to stream down her cheeks now. "Samantha I-"
    "Go. Away" came the response.
"Samantha Joan Pleygian, you speak properly to your-" her father began, only to be interrupted.
"GO AWAY!" Samantha shrieked, tears flowing down her face at a tremendous pace. Her parents sighed and proceeded to walk out. Samantha was having one of her many tantrums, though that didn't make it hurt any less. As they opened the door and left, all that could be heard from the room was wailing and bawling, and the occasional 'go away' shriek again.

"They may have been attempting a rescue mission, but there's no way to know for certain. If nothing is done, then we risk Sasha's life, and I for one am not willing to do that. Fae, you go with Zane and him" Caleb replied, gesturing towards Luke. "We'll stay behind and continue things as best we can, and see if we can't come up with a way to stop the manufacturing of weapons while preventing loss of life" Caleb explained. He turned to Zane. "That is, if you're willing to take them there" he added.

Zane accepted the pendant as Caleb asked him if he was willing to take Fae and Luke to Vex's palace. In his mind, there wasn't much of a choice. It was either he went to go and try to rescue Sasha, or he abandoned someone to die that he could possibly help. He nodded his head in response. "Sure, i'll go. Beats hanging around here right?" he asked, half jokingly. He turned and looked at Fae. "Keep close to me, okay? Where we're going, is one of the most dangerous places you can imagine. Stick by me and we'll be fine" he said, trying his best to explain. He then glanced at Luke. "And you, slack off and you'll get left behind, got it?" he asked. He then turned and looked at the door. "I'd love to say goodbye and all, but the sooner we leave the better. See you when I get back" Zane said to Caleb over his shoulder. He then walked out of the Resistance Base and slowly began his walk in the direction of Corvus.

Vex's eyes snapped up to look at Donte as he spoke of the Resistance. "This one's part of the Resistance? Why did you not inform me of this earlier?" he questioned. He then looked at Sasha and stood up. "Perhaps she can tell us things that we need to know about the Resistance, isn't that right, slave?" Vex asked. He walked over to Sasha and grabbed her by the neck. With sheer strength, he lifted the woman off her feet and carried her over to the magic mirror, that was positioned behind the throne. He then tossed her on the ground in front of it. "Now, you're going to tell us everything you know, and don't bother telling any lies, this mirror can-"

"This magic mirror has a name" the mirror protested.

"THIS MAGIC MIRROR can tell whether you are telling the truth or not" Vex finished, overpowering the mirror's voice.

"Mommy, I'm too old for naptime, do I have to go?" came the voice of a little girl, seated in the bed in her room, as she spoke to her mother. The room was quite bare, the only things inside of it that gave the little girl any comfort at all were her mother and father standing in front of her, and her stuffed teddy bear that she clutched to her chest to comfort her in her upset state.

She had been fine a good twenty minutes earlier, but then she had been taken out of her room and into the visiting area, a place that she wasn't comfortable in at all. People came to visit their loved ones, sure, but there was always somebody who gawked at you, who had a look of superiority, all because they didn't have a mental illness. So naturally, she hated the place, and the very second someone grabbed her and tried to force her out she bit them on the arm, kicked them in the leg, and began screaming at the top of her lungs. They reacted quickly, slamming her back in her room and restraining her arms and legs to prevent it happening again.

"Sammy, we've already told you this. This isn't a normal nap, it's one that's going to stop you from seeing the imaginary creatures" came the response from the girl's mother, attempting to calm the young child down. "But I told you Mommy they's not imaginary. Everyone says they are but..but they aren't. They..they speak to me Mommy, they tell me that I'm sick, which I sort of am. But i'm not sick sick, they say that i'm sick up here" the girl, Samantha Pleygian, said as she tapped on her forehead as if to enforce her point. She was met with a warm smile from her mother, a reassuring smile.

Her father's turn to try now, as he stepped forward and gently ruffled the little girl's hair. "The people are going to fix that, they'll make you better, you'll see" he said. Samantha hugged Bear tightly to herself, her only friend, as she shook her head. "I don't wanna" she said stubbornly. Her father sighed and bent down until he was now staring at her at her eye level. "Sammy, if you go for a nap we can get you and Bear icecream afterwards, okay?" he offered. Tears welled up in Samantha's eyes now. "But Daddy..what if I don't wake up? What if I sleep forever like in that story?" she questioned. Neither of her parents were shocked. They had had this conversation with their daughter several times leading up to the 'cure', and had not been successful in convincing their little girl to go along with it.

Glen tensed up as Nequa vanished and then reappeared, twisting Mulan's arm. Alright, bad guy. Got it he thought to himself. What Nequa said interested Glen though. What was this common goal? She spoke of honour, yet played a game that involved her vanishing and taking people by surprise, just what was the point of it all? He was about to start trying to think of a way to follow Nequa, but it was then that Mulan looked up and saw the emperor in danger.

A low growl escaped his lips. "Shan-Yu" was all he simply said, though he said the word with great bitterness. If the party tried to say anything to him, tried to give any orders or strategise before simply running into battle, Glen missed it, because from the second he saw Shan-Yu he was gone like a bullet from a gun, racing towards Shan-Yu with keyblade in hand and vengeance on his mind.

She grew up in a loving household, where her parents would often do what was best for her even if she didn't want it. She didn't have many friends, so the only sense of companionship she ever knew was from her stuffed bear, simply called "Bear". She developed depression at the early age of seven, something that worried her parents to no end, especially with how often she spent in her room alone away from the world. After a year of going through depression and having little to no contact with people other than her family, Samantha started to see things. Things that weren't actually there, usually in the form of a bird. It was at this time her parents decided that she needed help, and decided to send their little girl to the hospital for treatment.
