In my personal opinion, the message they try to convey is that no matter the distance, you're never truly alone. Either that or something like "Your friends will never be forgotten". Either way, I really like the general message they try to get across. It's a really touching thing, now that I think about it.

Glen grinned slightly as Shan-Yu approached him. Now, here was a challenge! The keyblade wielder nimbly dodged the first strike, he blocked the second strike with his keyblade. "HA, you're too slow, how about you just-" THWACK!
Glen got hit right in the face with Shan-Yu's sword, thankfully due to videogame logic his head wasn't sliced open, but it was enough of an impact to knock him around. He fell onto his back and simply lay there as small stars began circling around his head. "Hey guys...what do these stars mean? Guys? Guuuuuuuys" he called, and then simply fell unconscious.

"I'm not going to fight you, Caleb, but I'm not going to let you hurt Gexln either" Kaxar said calmly. She had her keyblade summoned, ready to fight just in case Caleb pushed it, but she preferred not to use it if she could avoid it. Unfortunately for her, she was going to have to.
"If you refuse to fight me, then you're going to fall here just as he will" came the response.

Caleb was first to strike. He rushed forward and swung his blade in a wide arc towards Kaxar. Kaxar was somewhat prepared for this, she had seen him do the same attack against her a couple of times in training. She shifted her keyblade to a slight angle to deflect the blade, and then proceeded to send a glaring beam of light rocketing towards Caleb. Caleb saw this, and the familiarity of his training with Kaxar was quickly remembered, as was the technique to avoid it. He leapt to the side nimbly and then turned to face Kaxar.

"You think this is practice? Put some effort into it before I cut it out of you!" Caleb called. He tried a similar technique as before, leaping at Kaxar once again, however he feinted the attack and instead lunged directly forward towards the girl. Kaxar saw the attack just a fraction of a second too late, and instinctively leaned to the side, causing the blade to cut right through her shoulder and draw blood. "Caleb stop, you don't need to do this!" Kaxar cried out. Caleb paused for a second, mere inches away from Kaxar. "And you didn't need to help him kill our village. All the death, all the hurt he caused, it's on your hands. You were never with us, you just wanted to use us until you could get back to him!" the young warrior spat out. Kaxar wanted to play defensively, and he did not. If she wouldn't fight him, then he would force her hand into action.

Caleb quickly summoned a blade and propelled it towards Kaxar at high speed, he then dashed around in a circle around Kaxar, doing the same thing. "This is over. Impalement of evil!" Caleb yelled as he initiated his attack and the last blade shot towards Kaxar. He expected Kaxar to block the attacks, he expected it to drive her to fight more, he expected wrong. The injury Caleb had caused on Kaxar's shoulder was too much for her to move quickly, she deflected three of the swords before the other seven stabbed straight through her center.

Glen hadn't taken the attack particularly well. He had been off-footed and his guard had been down, and boy had he payed for it. His body had searing pain rushing through it where the attack had landed, but he didn't know any healing magic, and he had no potions with which he could recover. He scolded himself for it, mentally making a note to try to get some more after the battle. Glen then looked at Shan-Yu, who seemed to be absolutely fine. There was no sense worrying about recovery if there was nothing he could do about it, not while Shan-Yu was still breathing. Maybe the smart thing to do would use Strike Raid, but there simply wasn't enough satisfaction for Glen in that attack. So, the young keyblade wielder raised his keyblade and dove straight into Shan-Yu, using his Sliding Dash ability.

“Would you like to give it a try?”

Samantha paused. She had never played the piano before, had never even been offered a lesson. The girl had always had an interest in piano, but her parents had never wanted her to go down that path, fearing she would abandon any hopes for an education in favor of a musical career. Samantha nodded slowly though, she most certainly wanted to try.

Sammy carefully tried her best to play the notes, just as Kyla had done. She got about halfway before she made her first mistake. She panicked, trying to focus too hard on the rest of the notes and messing more than half of the remaining ones up. She stopped and simply stared at the piano. Tears began to well up in her eyes; apparently The Miracle had not cured her of her childish reactions. "I messed up" she said. She took a deep breath, however, and began to play from the beginning again. However, her mental focus simply wasn't there now, and she found herself unable to replicate the majority of the notes. She began to cry a little more freely now, not quite sobbing but not full blown crying either. "I-i'm sorry, I messed up your pretty song.." Samantha apologized, unsure of what else she could say.

How does everyone feel about a timeskip, going from where everything is currently to when the "rescue party" gets to the castle?

Zeke also walked over to the window, standing just a little behind Viktor and Victoria. "IgglyBuff? That's weird. Almost wish I had my pokeballs, but I left them at home before I came on this trip. I don't particularly care for them, but I need more variety in the pokemon I use, I've been getting too predictable in my typing lately, i'm told" Zeke said. He wasn't entirely sure what he should be saying, especially to these people that he had only really just met, but what he had said sounded like it fit.

Samantha was trying to figure out what to do, she wasn't sure what she was meant to do in a place like that, when someone approached her. Wonder why she didn't say anything before the tour she thought to herself, but pushed the thought aside. How was she supposed to respond though? Once again, she was in a situation she wasn't very experienced in. "Hi Analise, my name is..um..Samantha" she responded. She hated the fact she had paused as she had spoken, now it seemed like she was somebody that couldn't even remember her name. How stupid did she look now?

She was still thinking this as, to her surprise, Mr Bear started squirming around in her arms. Samantha's eyes widened in shock. "M-Mr Bear, stop wriggling around, you're making it hard to cuddle you" Samantha exclaimed, as Mr Bear succeeded in freeing himself and leaped down onto the ground. Without a word, the stuffed bear began waddling away from Samantha and in Kyla's direction. Sammy looked up at Analise. "Sorry, Mr Bear is usually a good boy" she said quickly, and then she hurried after the bear.

Samantha caught up to Mr Bear rather quickly, especially since Mr Bear had walked into Kyla and tripped over her foot. Sammy quickly helped Mr Bear to his feet, which was a little awkward because despite being nine years old Samantha was still quite a lot bigger than Mr Bear, and then she noticed who Mr Bear had bumped into. "Um..sorry about Mr Bear bumping into you..Mr Bear is usually very still, and quiet and..and he doesn't usually move by himself at all" Samantha apologized to Kyla, the fact that her stuffed bear now seemed to be moving on his own only now just sinking in.

I still will get him back Kaxar thought to herself. She didn't believe for a second that Gexln would fall. As she watched the battle between him and Caleb, it seemed he had the upper hand. Caleb was now on the defensive, and Gexln was the one doing all the attacks. It was almost certain that Gexln was going to win this one, and soon. And after that, I can get him b- her thoughts were interrupted as she saw Darkness' Sorrow get knocked out of Gexln's hands and stab into the ground a great distance away, followed quickly by Caleb's foot kicking Gexln to the ground. As she saw Caleb walk over and raise his sword above Gexln, preparing to deliver the final blow, Kaxar dove off her keyblade glider and, re-summoning her keyblade, slid beneath the blade as she blocked the strike with her keyblade.

Amongst the attacks, Caleb had been shown a dark and terrible truth. Who had shown him, he would never know, but it filled him with newfound determination. He was going to kill Gexln for what he had done. He took the opening the moment he saw Gexln slow down just a fraction, and within mere seconds Gexln found himself disarmed and knocked back onto the ground. "Now..now you're going to die for killing them!" he declared, and brought the blade down towards Gexln's unprotected heart. His eyes widened in shock when the blade did not pierce Gexln's heart, but rather was blocked by someone he had thought of as an ally until just then.

"Kaxar? You're pretty bold showing yourself after lying to me like you did" he spat out as he stepped back a little bit. He was furious, he felt betrayed, but he still held a sense of honour. He would not strike down a woman out of fury. He watched as Kaxar stood up and readied her keyblade. She stood in front of Gexln, and she looked very determined to stay there. "Get out of the way Kaxar. You are no ally of mine, not after you helped this monster destroy our village, and then protected him further by lying about it. I'm giving you one chance to get away, to survive, purely because I once thought of you as a friend" Caleb stated.

Kaxar shook her head. "I'm not going to let you kill him, Caleb, not while there's still a chance I can save him" she replied. Fiery determination set in her eyes; there was no convincing her to change her mind. Slight shock set in a little bit as Caleb shifted his stance into one of aggression.
"Then you will share the same fate as the one you are so determined to protect"

Destroyed my home? It was a heartless that destroyed my home, Kaxar already told me that. Who the hell are you anyway? I don't have time for this Caleb thought to himself, attempting to respond to the voice that had mysteriously appeared inside his head. He then began ignoring the voice, so that he could focus more on the battle at hand. He had lost the fight against Gexln before, he would not do it again. The voice was right though, defense probably wasn't going to work; it had failed him before. Caleb shifted his stance to a slightly more aggressive one.

Gexln noticed the shift in stance. "You think you can play rough with me and survive? You've got another thing coming" he taunted. He wasn't just fighting to win this battle, or to prove he was stronger this time, he was fighting for his very survival. If they lost the war, kingdom hearts was going to wipe them out, and he wasn't going to allow that to happen. Fortunately for him, Caleb had changed his stance to one of offence, which meant he would probably falter if heavy offence was applied back. Keeping this in mind, Gexln rushed forward with Darkness' Sorrow in hand and swung a mighty blow towards Caleb's side.

Kaxar willed her keyblade glider to go faster, not that it helped at all. She could see Caleb and Gexln fighting each other now, or at least Gexln was attacking and Caleb defending, each raining blow upon blow to each other. If she didn't get there soon, one of them would probably defeat the other. I'm almost there, just hang in there for a little longer, please! she thought, panicking.

Couldn't you simply watch the thread and look at the alerts? Or is it a problem with being able to get on KHV much at all? Either way I can try to remember to ask.

Caleb, standing a fair distance away, nodded as Beuce souted to him. He had only just arrived at the keyblade graveyard, and already the war was starting. Caleb closed his eyes in concentration as a faint glow formed around the warrior.
"I am the bone of my sword
Steel is my body and fire is my blood
I have created over a thousand blades
Unaware of loss, Nor aware of gain
Withstood pain to create weapons, waiting for one’s arrival
I have no regrets. This is the only path
My whole life was unlimited blade works"

The chant was over quickly, and as he finished speaking them Caleb felt a surge of power rush through him. Hundreds upon hundreds of blades began floating in the air, and immediately the attack had begun. The blades surged towards R and the other darks, many of them aiming directly for R while many more still stuck into the ground around Beuce, giving him many weapons to use.

Gexln raised an eyebrow as he saw the weapons flying at R and the rest of them. So, the boy from Twilight Town was there too? That could make things interesting. Gexln wasn't about to let R fall though, he would be the one to do that, if anyone. He over to near R and then quickly formed a barrier made of the purest darkness, blocking the blades that flew at R and causing them to clatter uselessly to the ground. He wasn't able to sit still for very long though. He looked over at Caleb. Gexln knew that the plan was to work with Xero, but there was no way he was going to let someone else get to the boy before he could. He opened up another dark corridor and leaped into it, emerging from it right next to Caleb.

Seeing Caleb was distracted by his unlimited blade works attack, and focusing very much, Gexln landed a solid punch to Caleb's stomach, winding the boy and causing the attack to stop. The Nobody then grabbed Caleb and opened up a third dark corridor and tossed Caleb into it before jumping into it himself. In the span of a few seconds, Gexln had managed to stop the unlimited blade works attack, land a good hit on Caleb, and then move both himself and Caleb a great distance away from the others. Gexln waited as Caleb got to his feet. "So, come back to die have you?" he taunted.

Caleb grunted a little and stood up. The hit had hurt, that much was certain. Not enough to slow him down, but he had certainly felt the impact. In response to Gexln's taunt, Caleb shook his head. "I'm not going to be the one to fall here" he replied. He then summoned a blade to his hand, a japanese katana. He wanted to use the keyblade, but he was not experienced with it and it would probably only hold him back. The warrior then stood in a defensive stance, and waited for Gexln to make his move.

Kaxar hadn't been able to get off her keyblade glider. From the moment she had arrived there had been fighting already, and as she was about to get off she saw, of all people, Gexln emerge from a dark corridor and take himself and Caleb away. They hadn't gone extremely far, Kaxar could still see them, but it would take a bit to get to them. She zoomed along on her keyblade glider towards the two, hoping to get there before something terrible happened.

Skadi rushed forward and slammed the end of her staff into the GentleMieu with all the force she could muster. She didn't like combat all too much, she hated the idea of harming just about anything, but if it was necessary for them to progress then there wasn't much choice; she had to fight.

Glen flinched a little as he felt the talons of Hayabusa scrape across his face. They hurt, but he had managed to move enough out of the way that they barely hit, thankfully. As much as he wanted to tear the bird apart, to get it back tenfold for the pain he had just been caused, he had to focus on the main threat. Racing over to Shan-Yu, he leaped up into the air and performed a somersault in the air, and then came crashing down onto Shan-Yu with a poison-infused slam attack, using his Poison Edge ability.

Only now did everything fully set in for Samantha. For the last few minutes, the girl had simply stood there in shock, unable to believe what she was experiencing. She felt little to no worry, she felt no sadness, and she found herself able to keep track of conversations fairly well; something she had struggled with previously. Was this what The Miracle had done? Would it last forever? She certainly hoped so.

One thing The Miracle hadn't fixed though was her shyness, proven by the fact that she still found it a struggle to even contemplate going over and talking to the others there. Would they accept her? They seemed for the most part to be so much older than her. She wanted to speak to the others, to try to make a friend or two, but still found herself unable to think of how. Samantha made a decision. She would attempt to talk to someone, and then she would go with Mr Bear to the nice lady. She looked down at her right hand, which was holding onto Mr Bear's paw. She was extremely pleased that Mr Bear had made it into wherever it was she had gone to, it made her feel much more comfortable.

Taking the first step was the hardest part, she realized. Reaching out to talk to others was something she was not used to, the entire process was unfamiliar to her. Despite being a nine year old, she had almost never had any friends. Second step done now. Good, she was making progress, and the second step towards the person she had chosen to speak to was much easier than the first. The girl she was walking towards was the girl that had run over to the butler, she seemed scared; something that Samantha herself could definitely relate to. Picking up the pace, Sammy walked right up to Ainsley and stopped. She began rocking back and forth on the balls of her feet nervously as she opened her mouth to speak.

"H-hi, my name is Sammy, what's yours?"
