Glen was surprised at Cat's reaction. They had been assaulted by this girl, and immediately it was decided the best idea was to tell her everything? No, he was having none of that. The girl had caught Glen off guard with tripping him over before, but he was confident he could handle any attack she threw at him. Cautiously, he took a few steps towards her.

He was now one step ahead of Cat, and he tried to force a smile; something that probably made him look a lot creepier than he actually was. "My name is Percy Marlurk, and we found you by looking up into the sky. A giant tower isn't exactly hard to miss. Anyway, if you truly know why we're here, then you know my associate just lied to you. We're actually hear, because rumours have been floating around that there is valuable treasure in this here tower, and like it or not we're going to take it. Now either you give it up quietly or we're going to have to get nasty" he said, deliberately lying in the hopes the girl would leave them alone and they could search for Flynn in peace. He did not have his keyblade summoned, but he was more than capable of changing that should something go wrong.
OOC: Mindstorm please don't assault Glen, I know you're thinking it :P

Anthrax stopped shaking Sebastian as a voice called out to him. He dropped the avian and turned his head slowly to look at where the voice had come from. "What you want?" Anthrax asked. His attention was caught quickly by the sound of movement, so the rat turned to look at Sebastian now. "Sebastian going?" he asked.

As soon as he could, Sebastian had started walking back to where he had been positioned before Anthrax. The gigantic rat was perhaps the only creature he knew that he would ever consider sparring with, or even just messing around with, as despite it perhaps not being the smartest idea he had complete trust in the rat; something he could not say about anybody else. He glanced over his shoulder at Anthrax as he was asked where he was going. "Sebastian must watch, Sebastian must guard again" he replied simply, answering the rat's question in the same manner of which the mutant spoke. Barely even acknowledging the person that had yelled out to him, he turned his attention to the horizon once more, resuming his guard duty.

Anthrax gave a look at Sebastian that made it look like he was almost upset that his friend wouldn't play, which in truth he sort of was, but after realizing it would change nothing he switched his gaze to the person that had yelled at them earlier. He sat down on the edge of the building, looking down at the man and tilted his head slightly, wondering for the second time what the man wanted with him.

Gexln began squirming, trying to get out of Beuce's grasp. Thankfully, he was able to do so. He stood up straight and decided then to answer Flame's question. "What was I doing here? Uh..certainly not watching you two, no not at all. Uh...I heard...rumours of an assassination attempt so I came here to er..take out the assassin before he could kill you!" the Assassin replied, clearly lying. He then turned to face Beuce and pointed at him. Although, despite him pointing his finger at him, the bunny suit made it look as though he simply raised a furry paw in his general direction. "If you ever do that to me again you'll wind up in the same position as that guy. That was annoying" he stated in a half joking manner.

    Username: Dr_Wigglz
    Name: Jim Anem
    Age: 32
    Gender: Male
    Appearance: Here
    Weapons:
    Bow and a short sword.
Fighting Style: Proficient in close combat fighting with a sword, but prefers to fight more at a range if he can.
Strengths: Very focused once he has his mind set on a goal, very determined, has a keen eye for detail and a natural sense of direction.
Weaknesses: Lets his emotions cloud his judgement easily, can be incredibly stubborn, does not easily trust others.
    Starting Area: Dýnami
Bio: Has amnesia *shot* For most of his life, Jim Anem was an everyday man with a passion for archery. He worked in many places, earning an honest living as a bodyguard for rich and noble people; until the riots broke out, that is. Because of the high profile of the people he was paid to protect, there was often trouble with mutants and the Spirox, and more often than not it was resolved quietly and quickly.

This changed the moment the riots broke out. Jim was known to many of the mutants, and thus was an easy target for the rioters to vent their frustration out on. After a calm, suspiciously quiet night protecting a noble in Dýnami, Jim came home to find a home destroyed, a family slain, and one of the swords his wife liked to collect on the ground with odd, green blood on it. Knowing straight away that it was not a regular human that had caused the massacre, Jim picked up the sword, went and grabbed his archery things, and decided to turn his passion into a lethal weapon to use against the mutants and spirox alike, until he could find his family's killer and claim vengeance.
Other: Had a wife named Sarah, and a son called Steven, both died in an attack by mutants.

Caleb stopped for a moment. They were about to fight a god over an object that Caleb had no idea who it actually belonged to. First Enox wanted to mess with the dead, and then he was going to try to steal from a god? He shook his head silently. "Enox, Natana. You'll have to forgive me. I may be many things, but I am not a thief. If you want to steal something to help mess with fate, then you're going to have to do it without me" he said to them. Caleb then looked up at Zeus. "Fight them off if you must, but don't kill them. Despite what it seems, they're only doing it to help someone else" he stated. Without another word, a keyblade glider was summoned and Caleb hopped onto it. "When you have learned to accept fate as it is and not try to change what has already been written, then you will again have my protection, Enox" he said, before shooting off out of Olympus, leaving the world, and heading back towards the keyblade graveyard.

Gexln managed to block the strike, but the sweep caught him off guard. He fell to the ground once more, but found the ability to quickly get to his feet. For all his exhaustion, he was certainly still fast. Tasting blood in his mouth now, Gexln made a dive forward, only to spring off one hand as he dropped his keyblade, flipped himself into the air, re-summoned his keyblade and came down crashing onto Valinton with both weapons coming down with extreme force from the sheer momentum of his movement.

Juliet was shocked at having every single attack blocked, but even moreso when she was kicked in the stomach back away from Valinton. The girl skidded along the wall, grazing her elbows and back slightly as she did so. She found her feet quickly, getting up almost as fast as Gexln had. One thing was certain; Valinton was going go be a challenging opponent. If she had to go much harder than this, she ran the risk of losing balance and having the chaos within take over, which was something she did not want. Juliet began spinning in place for a moment, before stopping and using the motion to create a whirling tornado of light energy, sent spiralling off towards Valinton. As it neared the warrior, Juliet gave chase, readying her keyblade for a horizontal slash should he find a way to protect himself from the tornado beneath his feet and the darkness Nobody on the other side of him.

Gexln was shocked when Valinton was unfazed by the tackle his daughter had just performed. Had he been uninjured it wouldn't have surprised him that much, but to not be fazed even in the slightest? Definitely unexpected. Upon seeing Valinton jump up and perform his two slashes, Gexln's first instinct was to block the attack. The first strike was blocked with Darkness' Sorrow, the second with Midnight's Venture, and then it hit him; Valinton was one step ahead of him. This was made obvious when the roundhouse kick came for the Nobody. Gexln twisted his body out of the way of the kick with relative difficulty, but the stab was a different matter.

Try as he might, Gexln could not avoid the stab completely. He maneuvered his body out of the way for the most part, but he did feel the thin katana pierce his skin, making a long, skinny cut along the side. A sharp cry of pain came from Gexln's mouth, who was not used to being injured so badly, as he collapsed onto one knee, his fatigue seeping in ever quickly. He took a deep breath, however, and stood up. He was down, but certainly not out. Firing a dark firaga at Valinton now, he then followed it up by leaping over Valinton, and attempting to swing both blades at the warrior's skull.

Juliet had to move quickly to avoid the dark firagas launched at her. With a swiftness that would have made even her father seem slow, the girl danced and leaped out of the way of many of the dark firagas, and simply blocked the rest. The tactic had worked though, and to Juliet's horror she could only watch as the blade pierced her father's skin. A silent gasp came from her mouth, out of both worry and surprise, but thankfully her father stood up and retaliated with his own attack; something that showed he still had plenty of fight in him.

Juliet felt quiet rage bubbling up inside of her, created by the fact that Valinton seemed to have betrayed them and also for the fact he was trying to kill her father. "Leave my father alone!" Juliet yelled out, rushing forward and attacking the moment Gexln's dark firaga hit, so that Valinton was being attacked by three strikes simultaneously; one from her, and another two from her father. Juliet was striking hard and fast, using her rage and determination to empower her swing.

Gexln was in the middle of dispatching the keyblade wielders, taking them down with great speed, when suddenly he was grabbed at the neck and thrown to the ground, extremely hard. He rolled over quickly onto his back and found himself staring straight into the eyes of a Valinton projection. To him though, it looked almost identical to the Valinton he had helped in Timeless River, the one that had seemed to befriend Kaya. "Another trick of Xindai's.." he grumbled. In the attack, Gexln had dropped Darkness' Sorrow, so he could only stare helplessly at the projection of Valinton and wait for him to make a move.

Juliet could only watch as Valinton grabbed Gexln and threw him to the ground. To her, this was a slight shock. In her eyes, the man who had seemed to be helping people earlier was now trying to kill her father. With a low growl Juliet leaped high into the air. As she neared the top, the girl reached out and grabbed onto the edge of the wall. Only moments later, she pulled herself up and glared at Valinton. He had a katana to Gexln's throat and was standing on top of him, as though he were about to kill him. Another low growl came from the back of her throat, shortly before she rushed towards Valinton.

"Get away from my father!" Juliet shouted out as she summoned her keyblade and then crash tackled Valinton to the ground behind Gexln. She then turned around and helped her father up, before turning once more to look at Valinton. Keyblade wielders were approaching her and her father from both sides now, but there was no doubt who the bigger threat was. "Father, rest. I can handle this" Juliet ordered.

In response, a slightly high pitched noise was heard, followed closely by the summoning of Gexln's keyblade. He bent down and scooped up Darkness' Sorrow and then held both weapons in a ready position. "If you think I'm going to sit out of a fight with someone that just threw me to the ground, think again" he answered. The battle coming would be tough even if he were at full stamina, which he wasn't, but he wasn't about to let Juliet risk her life for him. He stood in a ready position, merely waiting for Valinton's reaction.

Caleb followed quietly through the dark corridor. He didn't like the idea of raising the dead; if he had he would have searched long ago for a way to revive his village. He snuck quietly past the strange guard, wondering what had caused him to be knocked out as he appeared, and continued walking behind Enox and Natana. He glanced at Natana as he walked. "I'm not sure if the other you is in there, but if she is, she should start paying attention. If he's as evil as she seemed to think he is, why would he be trying to ressurrect his wife?" Caleb asked.

Gexln, despite being tired, refused to go down. Being isolated from the others, he was in an extremely dangerous situation, but he fought on with the fury of a raging fire. Keyblade wielders were on him attacking him from both sides, but as each one came, moments later they fell. It was by no means an easy feat for the Nobody of the Dark, as each one seemed stronger than the last. A female wielder approached him from in front now, challenging him to a battle on top of the wall as her comrades had done previously. With one swift swing of Darkness' Sorrow, a loud clang was heard as his sword hit her keyblade and was blocked by the strike. She had made a novice mistake though in only accounting for one weapon. A few seconds later and Gexln's keyblade cut through her as though she wasn't even there, and she, too fell with the other wielders.

If Gexln had thought that this would slow them down, if it would give him a temporary break, he was sorely mistaken. On his left were several more keyblade wielders, all running at him with their keyblades raised; ready for battle. On his right came a few more, though far less than the ones on the left. If he were in a more strategically sound position, maybe he could have made some escape there and then. Sadly, he was not in such a position; he was standing in the center of the top of the wall. Gritting his teeth in determination, Gexln turned to his right and with a cry of bloodlust he dove into them, keyblade and sword swinging in a fearsome tornado of death as he engaged them in battle.

Juliet was keeping sure to keep an eye on her father as she ran towards him. She had reached the fortress itself now and faced the challenge of getting to the top of the wall. From on top of the wall itself, as the keyblade wielders ran at Gexln, some fired various dark spells at her. She could identify a few of them as Dark Firagas, but the rest were unknown to her. She raised her keyblade as she stopped at the bottom of the wall.
"Reflega!" the girl shouted as a barrier shielded her from the projectiles and sent some back to the casters, destroying them near instantly. She looked up and saw her father cutting and hacking at keyblade wielders just above her. "Father, jump down!" Juliet called out, hoping to get Gexln's attention and help him realize that her position was much safer than his.

Glen lay somewhat still on the ground, attempting to get his breath back as quickly as he could. "Hey..cut a guy some slack..that climb..takes..effort" he said between breaths, huffing with exhaustion. After a few moments, he sat up, still breathing heavily but not as audible as it had been. "If Flynn really is here, I don't think we're going to have any trouble bringing him down. If he came up here, he's cornered. The tower might be tall, but there's really nowhere to go aside from down. Maybe he's hiding inside something in here" Glen suggested, being sure to keep his voice low in volume as Cat had requested. He, too, began looking around for the source of the noise.

While Cat and Etrius may have had the sense to use their gliders to scale the tower, and Glen had thought of it himself, he was not keen on getting back on the glider after his accident just moments before. As they ascended the tower and went in through the window, Glen approached the base of the tower. He wasn't sure who the new person that had been near Cat and Etrius was, but he was going to become a professional tower climber and then see about introducing himself. He rubbed his hands together and turned his gaze towards the window. "Well, I've seen other people climb high things before, and they made it look easy. It can't be that hard, can it?" he asked, thinking aloud.

The boy began his ascension rather awkwardly. At first, he couldn't get a proper foothold, and he kept slipping off and falling onto his behind. After a minute or two of trying though, he found himself getting better and better. Halfway up, he lost grip with his right hand and began slipping with his left. Immediately he began struggling and panicking, but did right himself and continue climbing after a few seconds, although he did make a mental note to change his underwear the moment he got back to the land of departure.

Soon enough, he reached the window. With an enormous amount of effort he pulled himself inside and fell with a soft thump onto the floor. He was breathing somewhat heavily, and he felt very tired, but he had done what he set out to do; he had scaled the wall with nothing but his bare hands. He simply lay on the floor there, completely vulnerable to an attack, but confident that he was safe. There were no heartless in sight, what could possibly go wrong?

Glen watched as Etrius and Cat ran off in the direction Flynn had gone. He began to go after them, but turned around to look once more at the castle. "If all this turns out non-appealing and boring, I will be back to see what riches you have" Glen said quietly, greed obvious in his thinking. He then looked back in the direction Cat and Etrius had gone. They were nearly out of sight, and had quite a big lead on him already. If he was going to catch them, he would need to be fast. Throwing his keyblade into the air, it transformed into its glider mode and the wielder nimbly left onto it. He began speeding after them, getting faster and faster. As he got near them, he began yelling out to them. "CAT, ETRIUS, WAIT UP, wait for meeeee" he said, voice being drowned out by the wind as he shot past them.

After only a few moments, Glen quickly realized he had overtaken them, and desperately turned the keyblade glider around, albeit a little too fast. He fell right off the glider, and because of the rider's will, the glider began shooting off towards Cat and Etrius, threatening to injure them if it didn't stop. Reacting quickly, Glen resummoned his keyblade to his hand in its weapon form, making the peril vanish. He then began jogging over to the group quickly, and came to a stop near them, breathing heavily.

^ Image kindly drawn by Xero. I would add praise but no amount of words can express my sheer gratitude for such an amazing picture.

Gexln saw the shockwave coming, but a little too late. He was too focused on the projection Gexln and not enough on his surroundings, which had now filled up with keyblade wielders and warriors alike. As the shockwave was about to hit him, a well timed block was what was planned, but the Nobody of the dark was too slow, and instead was knocked into the dark corridor that his projection had created. He rolled backwards through a dark corridor for the second time that day, and slammed his back into a wall, halting his movement. A loud thud could be heard as the impact occurred, and a sharp jolt of pain went through Gexln's body. After a few seconds the warrior stood up and raised both the keyblade and darkness' sorrow. The time for talk was over; it was time to see how much he had really improved.

Seeing Gexln get knocked into the dark corridor by the shockwave, Juliet began picking up pace. She would always have a part that disliked her father for the death of her mother's village, but he was still her father and she wasn't going to let anyone kill him, not even himself. As she ran, a keyblade wielder approached her on the right. It was nobody she recognized, so it was nobody that deserved any sort of advantage, and she wasn't about to give him one. Without stopping, Juliet ducked underneath the first swing of the keyblade, and then parried the next one. She then applied pressure to the stroke and twisted the grip of the keyblade in the other wielder's hands, before disarming him altogether. Knowing that keyblade wielders could summon their weapons at will, Juliet then brought her own keyblade down and finished the warrior off, all without stopping. Normally she wouldn't be so brutal, but if her father's life was on the line there was no time for any mercy.

Caleb sighed quietly before opening his mouth to speak to Natana. "You should not enjoy the idea of violence and fighting, it's the first step in becoming a murderer. I don't believe violence should be leisure, because hurting innocent people is wrong. This thing may be our opponent, but the way you are treating it makes it look like you're treading a dark path" Caleb stated simply. Despite what he said though, he also knew that many times fighting was necessary. Brandishing his two blades, he leapt into the air and came down with a fearsome stab attack, both blades going towards Cerberus' middle head.

Gexln said nothing as Xindai approached, and as he felt his face being pushed into the ground, he could make no audible noise, only a slight muffled one, but there was no doubt Gexln was attempting to swear at Xindai with every fibre of his body. When Xindai finally got off of him, Gexln pushed himself up and slowly got to his feet. He didn't recognise any of the area around him. Everything was different, as though they had all been teleported away to a distant land. After a few moments of wondering where exactly they were, Gexln finally pieced it together. It was the place he had first truly encountered the dark creator, but it was different. No longer were there ruins, no longer was there destruction apparent everywhere; Inwonohae had seemingly been fixed.

Still trying to figure out what had happened, how they had got there, he heard now the voice of Xero. He turned to her, and after listening to what she said, he couldn't help but nod his head slightly in agreement. "If I take your darkness, I might get stronger, but you sure as hell won't. Keep it, I've got enough energy to bring him do-" he began to say, but stopped as his eyes laid on something, or rather..someone. It was him, as he had appeared only moments earlier with Xindai's strength. But how? He was standing right next to Xero, not up there. "Xero, be careful..I don't like this. Xindai's playing some kind of trick" he warned. He then turned to look at the girl he cared for. "You want me to show I can do this without your darkness? Give me a few minutes to kick the ass of that fake up there and i'd be more than happy to prove it" he said, half joking but in an incredibly serious tone.

Juliet finally got her footing right on the ground, right as it vanished beneath her and was replaced with different land. This was not the keyblade graveyard she was in anymore, but something altogether different. A world she hadn't seen before, and one that she was not likely to forget either. Glancing around quickly, her eyes came to rest on her father, beaten and bloody, standing there next to Xero. So both of them had survived, that was good. Juliet's eyes then followed the gaze of her father, who was staring at..her father? What was going on? Juliet certainly didn't like it, whatever it was. The girl summoned her keyblade, Twisted Star, and began sprinting in the direction of Gexln. If there was one thing she knew about her father, it was that he had a nasty habit of getting into fights, and she had no doubt in her mind that he would want to fight the other version of him, whether or not he stood a chance.

Caleb stopped speaking the moment he felt Natana's grip around his neck. Despite her appearance, she seemed fairly strong. However, if her plan was to intimidate him it failed miserably. Caleb had been kicked around through many dark corridors, slammed into the ground repeatedly, attacked by Ananta, and had nearly died falling off a cliff; at this point he felt like if death were to come from him there was no chance he would be taken. After squirming around for a little, Natana seemed to let him go.

"When a powerful being comes along I'll be sure to respect them. Power doesn't come from brute strength, it comes from a person's desire to protect that which they hold dear. Those are words I've always lived by, and I believe them wholeheartedly, so if you plan to try to kill me, it will be you who joins Hades, not me" he retaliated. He continued walking nearby Enox, yet still keeping an eye on Natana; it seemed she was every bit as eager to cause him harm as Ananta herself had been.

Gexln's body stiffened up for a little bit at the mention of Kaxar. It was certainly something he hadn't been expecting. How was he to explain things to Xero? He sighed silently to himself. He nodded his head slowly, her passing still recent enough that it was still painful for him. It had only been a few hours, and now here he was talking about her once again, this day was not getting any better for him.

"Kaxar..she really was. Back when my somebody still wasn't used to the darkness, he got bullied quite a bit in the village he..that I slaughtered. Everyone there laughed at me, they always made fun of the fact I was so reliant on darkness" he started. Turning his head slightly to look at Xero now, he actually laughed for a brief second before continuing. "Funny thing about darkness; being pushed away for using the darkness only makes it worse. Anyway, Kaxar..or Kara, as she used to call herself, she was the only one that actually defended me, and was always there for me. In fact, she even made me this" Gexln said, now holding up the keyblade for Xero to see and gesturing towards the keychain.

"There was once a time I cared a lot about her. Still do, to an extent. When I saw her in Twilight Town not too long ago though, it was like all the old feelings of loneliness, and bitterness just dissappeared temporarily, like everything was a bit better. I just kinda missed that" Gexln said quietly. He now nodded his head in the direction of where Juliet could be seen, still utilising the dark corridors he had set up. "I never knew I had a child, you know. I can see it now though, the resemblance to Kara. The way her eyes refuse to see the worst in people before the good, the same eyes.." he said, voice trailing off as Juliet tripped over between the dark corridors and went sprawling into one. Most fathers would be worried, but Gexln just laughed. "Even the clumsiness" he said. He looked at Xero once more again. "She was special, but if there's one thing that Kara would want me to do, it would be to not allow myself to be sad all the time from her parting. After everything I did to her home, after the people I took from her...I at least owe her that much" Gexln stated, a hint of sadness in his voice.

The sound of metal softly hitting the ground could be heard if one listened closely enough as both the keyblade and Darkness' Sorrow fell to the ground, dropped out of the hands of its wielder. Xero was right. The moment he outlived his use, Xindai would surely turn on him. What was even more important though, was that Xero had once again broken down sobbing, out of worry for him. The darkness inside of him had calmed, now having very little hold on him whatsoever. He knelt down next to Xero and did something even he was surprised at; he embraced Xero in a firm hug.

"Will you relax? I'm not going to die anytime soon. I'm not leaving you alone, i've got your back..remember?" he asked. The way that he spoke wasn't rash, or angry, or even slowing the slightest hint of cockiness; something that was exceptionally unusual for him. All that could be identified in the tone he spoke was concern and gentleness. "If you're that worried, I'll stop" he added. Glancing in the direction of Kaxar's body, another pang of sorrow rang through Gexln. Then, as if he wasn't being different enough, Gexln then said something he had thought he would never say. "There's been enough blood shed today" he whispered quietly.

After a few moments of just kneeling there, Gexln finally let go and stood up. He picked up his weapons once more, and turned to look at Xindai. While Xindai hadn't shown any signs of attacking him or Xero so far, surely he wouldn't be happy to the dark warrior switching sides once again. He took a few steps away from Xero and let himself slump to the ground. He was exhausted, aching everywhere, and for once genuinely over fighting, at least for that moment. "Yo, Xindai, looks like I won't be needing your help after all. If you want a slave to do all your dirty work, you're going to have to find someone else. And if you go messing around in my head again, you'll be missing yours, you got that?" Gexln threatened. He was sitting down, relaxing and recovering now as he watched carefully. He still had enough energy to confront Xindai should the need arise, but he wouldn't last long if he did, so he had to be cautious.

Gexln couldn't help but stop the moment Xero mentioned him killing the village he had once known as a second home. He stood there for a second, speechless and not sure what to say, before words finally found their way out of his mouth. "If you'd listened closely to what I told you, you'd know they deserved it. All of them. None of them deserved to survive, none of them had any right to live" he said defensively. Gexln immediately had to focus right after he finished speaking, for he noticed Xero charging up some sort of attack. He didn't like the looks of that, not one bit. Knowing Xero probably wouldn't try to kill him outright, he had no doubt in his mind that if he were at full strength he could take the hit. But right there was the problem; he wasn't anywhere near full fighting ability at that moment.

The Nobody's mind raced as he weighed up his options. He could open another corridor, but he was heavily reliant on them and Xero would expect that. He had to do something different, something she would never see coming. The idea of harming her still didn't seem any better in his mind, but at this rate it was becoming harder and harder to avoid. As the ball of energy began charging at him, Gexln still hadn't thought of a way. Instinctively, he gritted his teeth together and changed his footwork to brace himself better. As the ball approached, Gexln closed his eyes and held out the keyblade in front of him as he pushed against it with all his might. The impact was dreadfully painful, slamming into him like a bull at a gate. Gexln was exceptionally determined though, and he refused to let up.

Even the greatest of warriors cannot overcome sheer fatigue, however, and Gexln was no exception. After only a few seconds of resisting the attack, the ball of energy overcame the Nobody and he was knocked backwards and onto the ground as the ball flew over him. Silently and unmoving, the Nobody lay there for a few moments, seemingly unconscious. After a short time his hands pushed against the ground he lay on, willing himself to get up. He got up, bloody and bruised all over, but not yet beaten. In his mind, he reached out, willing the darkness flowing through his own blade to return to him, and as he did the blade came skyrocketing across the ground towards Gexln, who simply caught the blade. He now held two weapons. In his right hand, the keyblade, and in his left he held Darkness' Sorrow.

Panting now, the dark warrior looked up at Xero slowly. "You want to know why i'm fighting you, Xero? You probably think it's because I'm an a******, or because I'm just always looking for something to fight. You're wrong. I'm fighting not for myself, but to become stronger so that nobody will surpass me, and so that I'll never lose anybody again, so you'd better get out of my way before you go down too!" he shouted out of desperation. Things weren't looking good. He had been through over three fights in the span of a few hours, and he was running on fumes at this point. He only had enough energy of his own left in him for the next minute at the rate he was going through it, before that too was spent and he would surely be overcome.

Sebastian sighed a little bit. Other people may have facepalmed, or perhaps even have simply told Anthrax he was wrong, but not Sebastian; he knew better. He knew that once Anthrax said something, there was nothing that would change the rat's mind. If one was to prove that Anthrax was incorrect, they had to trick him into believing it. Casually, the avian wandered next to Anthrax and simply looked up at his face. "A threat isn't a threat unless they're dangerous. We all know how great and powerful the mighty Anthrax is, surely nothing would be dangerous to you. If that's the case though, then you won't be able to kill any threats, because there won't be any" he explained coolly.

Anthrax thought this over for a moment. As what his friend had just said sank in, Anthrax's jaw could slowly be seen widening out of sheer horror. "No kill?! No fight?!" Anthrax exclaimed, nearly falling backwards as he took a step back, as if to get further away from the truth. Fighting was essential for Anthrax, an animal that ran on pure instinct and almost never thought anything through. Sebastian seemed to relax his shoulders as a small smirk appeared on the avian's face. That smirk was gone in an instance though, as Anthrax picked up Sebastian and began vigorously shaking him. "BUT ANTHRAX WANT TO FIGHT, ANTHRAX DO NOTHING WITHOUT FIGHT!" the hulking monster yelled out, panicking.

Nearby the building Flame and Beucefilous were having their duel, a trail could be found. Not a trail of rocks, or of breadcrumbs, or anything of the sort really. This was a trail of corpses. Four dead squirrels lay in a neat line, leading to the entrance of the building the duel was taking place in. An assassin had made the trail, that much was certain, but not the one that was planning the death of the leader of Inranahe. No, it was someone much more dangerous, someone much more cunning, and someone much more altogether stupid.

The dagger that Gehenna had lunged at Flame with was knocked out of the air by none other than the assassin Gexln, and fell to the floor uselessly with a soft metallic sound made as it hit the ground. Had it been anyone else, perhaps Gehenna would have been questioned; it made sense in times of war, but not with Gexln. Gexln was most certainly not known for doing things that made sense. As the dagger fell to the ground, Gexln unsheathed his two swords that were held on his back by sheer magic and ran Gehenna through with both blades. "Assassin..assassinated!" announced Gexln proudly as the body fell to the ground.

Personality: Confident in his abilities, and usually somewhat calm, though more often than not he takes things very seriously. He shows no hesitation to violence, though he believes that there is truly never an end to war. Calor stopped roaring as he felt the dagger pierce his skin. The mighty dragon fell onto all fours, before collapsing onto the ground altogether. How could I let such an insignificant creature catch me off guard, and to such an extent! Calor wondered amidst his pain. With a great thud, Calor's great wings fell over the top of his body. His eyes searched for the one that had caused him this fatal injury, but they found nothing; no creature to scorch with a final breath. As the dragon's heart beat for the last time, he couldn't help but wonder who would even notice he was gone, or who would miss him. The final thoughts going through this once proud and powerful beast, were those of loneliness and longing.
