Darius, now having finished feasting on the defenseless woman, turned his attention as his brother returned. He had noticed him leave, but he instinct said his brother would return shortly; and Darius' instinct was deadly accurate. While his brother may have been attracted to the woman, Darius was not, and this was clear was he paid no attention to her. He could easily see himself liking her, but perhaps not in the same way his brother seemed to; no, he would like her in between two slices of bread with ketchup and maybe a side of fries. "I just ate, save her for later" was all he said. He wanted to follow up on the message they had received earlier, a message telling them to meet in the Black Market. Knowing the streets as well as he did, getting there undetected wouldn't prove much of a challenge, so he began wandering towards the destination, hoping his brother followed him along with his new toy. Caleb stood silently, quietly as he followed Damnation. It had taken every ounce of his willpower to resist the temptation to leap to the other peoples' defense, to protect them from the beast known as Skorge. Upon being told that he would have to swear allegiance should he wish to find a place there, his body tensed up. He was a man of honor, a man of defending the peace, and now he was going to have to choose between pledging his life to this creature that had just sentenced many innocent people to death, or to fight against him and die himself, meaning he would be unable to obtain the antidote and stop the potential riots from happening and more people dying. He opened his mouth to speak, to pledge allegiance on the small light of hope within that he would be able to find a way out of it, before the girl began to speak. She spoke of humans as though they were inferior to the mutants, as though they were second rate. "Your best shot at obtaining the antidote is a human. You can run in there guns blazing and fighting to the very end, but you'll still be seen as mutants and as such won't be trusted as much. If you want any chance, you'd best shut your mouth and let me help you" Caleb responded honestly. He looked at Damnation now. "I pledge my allegiance, on the condition that once we have the antidote we break off even, and I will owe you nothing" he said.
Master Traitor has returned in all his shining glory!
Unequipping a Hi-Potion and equipping a Phoenix Down for Glen.
Caleb simply stood there, listening to the conversation. The more he heard, the less he began to feel safe. His eyebrows raised slightly as the other human proposed a deal to the mutant before them. Humans conversing with mutants in such a manner wasn't a very common thing, save for himself, so it was something unexpected. He coughed slightly and cleared his throat, before deciding to answer Damnation. "If I was uninvited, you need to get a more informative man, because he must have failed to let you know that he did in fact invite me" he responded. Once again, he found his mind wandering to the quiver of blades on his back, a thought of safety. He would have said more, but he was very curious about the deal that the other human seemed to be trying to create, and so stood still and listened.
Arioch Firarze stood near a cave on the outskirts of Idenshi. She lived in a dangerous place, she knew, but in her mind it was still safer than the one she had left behind. So, why was she so desperate to go back? The young sorceress stood tall, hair flowing long and beautifully in the wind as she pondered whether the decision she was making was the right one, or a poor one. From where she was, Idenshi was just a small speck in the distance, but she knew very clearly what it looked like after observing it many times, longing to return to the place she had once known as home. The girl twirled her staff slightly and then took a step forward. The first step was always the hardest. That first step, despite being a simple enough movement, symbolized her willingness to return to the city she had fled in terror, to abandon all that she had worked to achieve in the Outskirts for a chance of redemption within the huge city. Could she do it though? Surely the people there would flee in fear should they see her abilities again, wouldn't they? And even if they didn't, she would be seen as some sort of freak? At least, she would until she found where the antidote was kept. There, that was her motivation. The woman gulped and took another step, then began a long, slow, but steady walk back to her birthplace in the hopes what she found there would not be what she feared she would see.
Just making sure that you see this. If you could, in the Valinton vs Gexln and Juliet fight I'd love it if you could find some way for Valinton to...
Gexln had not expected the counter, and certainly had no time to react accordingly. He attempted to feebly switch his guard to slightly lower, but he was too slow. The punch hit him directly in the stomach and knocked him back, sending him crashing into the ground. As he hit the ground, Gexln felt all the breath leave his body momentarily from the impact, but found the strength to sit up and resume his breathing, albeit a bit faster. He tasted something warm, something salty on his tongue; blood, and spat it out quickly onto the ground. His mind may have been sharp, but his body was on breaking limit. He had never been a quitter, though, and that was not going to change now. Where other warriors may have given up, or even died, miraculously the Nobody of the Dark shakily stood up, clearly worn down but not beaten. Juliet watched on as Gexln was slammed to the ground, and then she could only look in awe as he stood up. Her father may have been a murderer, he may have even been exceptionally rude to even his own daughter, but she had to admit one thing; she really did hope to be as determined as he was one day. And that day had come, much faster than she would have ever thought possible. The fire lit in her eyes as she saw her father's will to go on, Juliet began tapping into the chaos inside of her once again. If Gexln wasn't going to give up, then neither would she. Deeper and deeper into her own soul she dove, each moment getting riskier and riskier until at last, she found it. A mischievous, knowing grin appeared on the daughter of chaos' face as her appearance slowly began to change. What had once been an innocent, rather pretty girl was now replaced by one that looked a little more imposing; as though she worshipped the devil himself. Spoiler This new form of Juliet's was one that she had sworn to her mother she would only use in dire situations. Despite Juliet herself being relatively unharmed with the exception of the huge mark on her arm, she figured her mother would count Gexln being in mortal peril as a dire situation. So she chose to use her power, the power that neither of her parents could use, but both had created. In this form, Juliet herself was much stronger, faster, and more durable by a lot, and easily had the potential to surpass both of her parents' strength. As Juliet looked at Valinton, she almost felt bad for the projection. Juliet did not have much experience in this form, and thus she was probably not even as strong as Gexln at that stage, but with luck she would still be more than a match for Valinton. "Now, traitor, shall we dance?" she asked, that thin, mischievous grin still on her face as she brandished her keyblade and began thinking quickly of her next move.
Caleb Stitem wandered around the streets of Kikei, looking for the entrance to the black market. Normally he would be helping mutants with their daily lives, trying to ease the suffering they experienced, but not today. No, today he had been contacted by a strange, draconic mutant. The man had spoken of an organization of sorts, and the idea sounded appealing to him; an idea of sorts to help all of mutantkind. Caleb approached the entrance to the black market now, and walked inside there. Sure enough, he saw a few individuals walking up to a somewhat well-hidden entrance, which seemed a little out of place really. Perhaps it was the entrance to the location he was told about by the draconic mutant. Saying nothing, he began following the mutants, towards the draconic mutant and another being that looked very, very intimidating. He thought of the swords that were in his quiver, and felt a little more comfortable, before opening his mouth to talk now. "I'm here about the offer you made me" he said simply.
Good job on the musical missions for SOS, you honestly did a really good job with them! I enjoyed listening to them both!
I decided to make Darius a cannibal in Spirox war. It adds a new level of creepiness to him, and also enforces the idea of him being a complete...
Thunk! Jim Anem walked over to the tree in the fields of Dynami and got a good grip on the arrow that had sunk into it. After a bit of fiddling around with it, he squirmed it loose with little to no difficulty at all, and placed it back into the quiver on his back. He made sure he looked back at the tree, at the target he had picked, and where the arrow had hit. The arrow itself was in the exact center of the tree, an impressive feat given the difference and the various small animals that climbed all over the tree. After a few moments of taking things into consideration, Jim shook his head in disappointment. "The accuracy is there, but the speed isn't. Had that been a mutant, they could have gotten nearly halfway to me before that arrow hit" he said, scolding himself. Turning now as he looked away into the distance, Jim could only think of the target he had been envisioning there instead of the tree. Somewhere out there, probably in a different area, was the murderer of his family. The archer was not entirely certain of who had done it, but he had every intent to find out. Putting away his bow now so that it hung over his shoulder, the man began walking back towards the main area of Dynami. Darius, the Left Hand of Madness, lay waiting silently within the dark alleyways of Idenshi. He was doing something that many, and probably most, people would probably both be afraid of and hold a distinct hatred for him because of. Darius was hunting, but he was not hunting for any small animal or anything of the sort, oh no..he was hunting something altogether more filling; he was hunting people. As person by person walked past, he was thankful for the fact both he and his brother knew how to be quiet, merely observing as person after person walked by, not realizing the peril that one of them would soon be in. There. A woman, alone and unarmed, wandering along as though she had had a very rough day indeed. Looking very depressed, and very, very vulnerable. The sadistic fiend licked his lips at the thought of what was about to happen, and simply waited a few moments more. The very second she got nearby, Darius snuck over silently towards the woman, and grabbed her with his right arm. One moment the woman was visible to the public, the next she was...gone. Taken into the alleyway that the Hands of Madness had been waiting in. As the lady opened her mouth to scream, to cry out for help, her lifeline was cut short by a boned blade piercing her in multiple places, silencing the woman forever. A wicked, disgusting look appeared on Darius' face as he turned to look at his brother. "Dinner..is served" he said with a slight chuckle.
I know it's being withheld from everyone, but wouldn't that include the mutants in everyone? :P
Juliet tried to maneuver herself out of the way of the slash, but to no avail; the claws hit her right down the side of her left arm. Instinctively, the girl leaped back a little to avoid any further attacks and then looked at her arm to check the damage. Sure enough, there was a very deep gash going right down her left arm, from the shoulder to the wrist. Grimacing in pain, she quickly began casting healing magic to heal the damage. It worked, to a certain extent. The cut was visible, but it would at least prevent any more blood from spilling out. Juliet glared at Valinton. Acknowledging the threat that lay before her, Juliet then began doing something she had sworn never to do; she began tapping into the chaos within. If Valinton was hoping Gexln would stop attacking, or even slow down, he was mistaken. The fact that Valinton had had his blade broken and an injury landed on him gave Gexln new determination to keep fighting; a sign that he was still far from being beaten. As Gexln was running towards Valinton to continue the assault, he looked out of the corner of his eye and noticed his daughter glowing with a strange aura. It was an unfamiliar aura to him, yet at the same time one he knew well, it reeked of both darkness and light; chaos. Trying to buy Juliet some time, Gexln now threw Darkness' Sorrow into the air, somewhat hoping to distract his opponent. At the same time, he swung with a large amount of force with his keyblade, aiming for the legs. He then dropped his keyblade, leaped up into the sky once more and caught his blade, summoned his keyblade back to his hand and came down with a stabbing motion with Darkness' Sorrow, whilst the keyblade itself was raised in a slightly defensive position, hoping to block any strikes that came towards his upper body.

As he got older, this never changed, though his battle technique grew more diverse and stronger with each battle. When the spirox gene was found to be able to be put inside someone, Caleb saw no reason to oppose this, although upon hearing of the horrific mutations some people went through, his opinion slightly changed. He found himself feeling pity for them, wishing there were something he could do to these people that fate had cheated. The very moment he heard of an antidote being created, but being withheld from the mutants, he left for Kikei and began fighting for the mutants, attempting to get them that which would allow them the second chance so many of them had had taken from them.
