The war-axe slammed down on top of another heartless, crushing it and causing it to vaporize into a small cloud of black particles. Dain turned to face the other heartless, but mere seconds later they all, too, exploded into a large cloud of the black particles, their deaths caused by thunder as well as the glaive that had delivered their demise to them. Dain didn't even need to turn around, to look at who had thrown the glaive. There were not many people that tended to use glaives, and the one in particular that had destroyed the heartless was one that he recognised.
"Well, you certainly took your time, India" he called back over his shoulder. He was about to say more, but his attention was caught by another three shadows, now retreating. Either they really were retreating because of the inevitable death, or perhaps they had found another heart to devour. Not knowing which, Dain gave chase after them, gesturing for India to follow as he did.

Zane was a little tired after swinging around his great sword so much. The heartless, for all their lack of strength, had certainly had a high enough number to stall them out a while. He looked up to see who had come to his aid to help him, and saw a dark purple haired boy with an axe, and a white haired man with a glaive. "Thanks for helping me, I probably would have-" he started, but stopped as the purple haired boy began running after more heartless. This axe-wielding boy certainly held a lot of aggression. Zane gave chase too, following in Dain's footsteps.

After just a few minute of running after the heartless, Dain finally caught them. Heaving his axe above his head, he brought it crashing down upon two of them, leaving one left. He turned on that one, not slowing down for even a moment. Despite wielding a war-axe, the warrior was surprisingly quick. As his weapon destroyed the last remaining heartless, he finally took notice of where he was. He was standing on what appeared to be the front lawn of a house, with two women standing there. Two pretty women, too. Immediately, Dain lowered his axe and held it in front of him, but low to the ground horizontally. He began to flex his muscles, which there wasn't a whole lot of but he was reasonably well built. "Oh, well helloooo ladies. I didn't see you there, over the cloud of death that I turned those heartless into, with my amazing skills" he said to both Dawn and Mist. Dain clearly had an extremely large ego, and was making no attempt to hide it whatsoever.

I am aware that it was posted in the RP Arena news, but that was in December last year. I know that all staff members are busy, and I'm not demanding an instant fix for the lack-of-post-count thing, but is there any kind of update on the situation that could be given? I know I, and probably many other members of the forum, get a lot of their posts towards the post count from the rp arena itself, and it just really sucks that it's been taken away so long without so much of a scrap of feedback, is all.

Still running, still dragging Oerva along, they were now almost at the exit. He was surrounded by people, so chances are he could lose any who would try to pursue him. His thoughts were interrupted as a mutant, one of the purchasers of a slave, let out a short cry of pain. Glancing over his shoulder, Caleb's eyes went wide as he saw the katana that stuck out of him. He had no doubt that blade had been meant for him, and it was his fault that he was dead. "They'll pay for this.." he thought grimly, continuing to run. However, going past the corpse was the mutant that had told him of the "organization" in the first place, charging at him with a blade. As Valinton swung his blade at him, Caleb simply parried it, and retaliated with a quick sweep of the legs, hoping to knock Valinton over, before he hopped back a little and turned to continue running. Hopefully, the members of the crowd would not take kindly to an innocent bystander being impaled and actually do something about it.

Quietly, Caleb began walking towards the 'stage', where Oerva and Doku stood. He walked slowly, trying to complete his plan before he got there, and when he finally got there, the only thing he heard was Oerva's reasoning for why she had been put up as a slave. Caleb smiled slightly behind his mask. He was glad he had made the decision to help this one, she had the right ideals. As he walked past her, he nudged her slightly with his elbow, making it appear as though he simply bumped into her. "Get ready to run" he whispered quickly, hoping she caught onto what he was about to do.

Caleb took a deep breath. This was the tricky part. Quickly he unsheathed his katana, and he swung it with all his might at the shackles on Oerva's feet, making sure to twist it to make sure it did break the chains around them. The moment he heard the chains hit the ground, he looked now at Oerva once more. "Go" he said simply. He stepped forward swiftly and pushed Doku back by ramming his shoulder into her, then he spun around and grabbed Oerva's wrists. The shackles were still on, but there wasn't a lot he could do without taking another few seconds; a few seconds which could easily mean the difference between life and death. Still holding her wrists, Caleb leaped into the crowd below, pulling her along with him as he began pushing through the crowd, using the people in it to hopefully make it harder for them to be seen, as well as assist in their escape.
The battle was getting more and more interesting. He had expected his prey to fight back, as a last statement to his will to live, but no. His prey was running. Normally this would have annoyed him, but not this time; this time it was almost a game. Rushing after Alcer, Darius held his bony arm up, ready to impale Alcer should he be given the chance.

As Valinton swung his huge dragon head to try to shake Juliet off, she went flying backwards. Instinctively, the girl held her keyblade in front of her, raised it above her head, and then plunged it down into the mighty beast's back. There she hung, all through his turning upside down, until Valinton suddenly dropped out of the sky and began hurtling toward the ground. The girl looked over her shoulder and nearly screamed. Underneath the weight of a dragon, at that speed, the impact could possibly kill her. "REFLEGA!" she yelled out, causing a barrier to appear around her right as she collided with the ground. The barrier by no means prevented her harm, but it took enough of the impact so that she survived. With that solution came a new problem, however, as Juliet tried to get up. She may have survived Valinton's attempts to crush her, but now she was stuck underneath the weight of the dragon.

Gexln stepped back a moment as his weapons ricocheted off the warrior's axe. He was skilled with his axe, and much, much faster than he looked. Wiping a bead of sweat off his face now, and breathing heavily, the darkness wielder decided to try a different approach. Feinting to his left first, the axe wielder attempted to block the strike that didn't come, and it was at that moment Gexln advanced on him, rushing forward. His assault was met with an axe swing aimed at his head, but a simple duck avoided that. Gexln dropped both blades at his feet now and placed both his hands right where his opponent's chest would be. A slight grin appeared on his face; he could tell the fight with this one was over. Channelling as much energy as he could muster into his arms, Gexln began a furious barrage of dark firagas, much in the same manner his projection had to Xero. Within moments, the spot where his previous opponent had stood was nothing but a pile of ash, and smoke rising from it. Immediately after that though, Gexln's strength failed him, and he collapsed there, right nearby Xero, whom he watched as he lost consciousness, hoping he had done what he could to protect her.

Darius was still rummaging through the garbage, still trying to find a scrap of a hint for how to find his prey, when he suddenly felt something penetrate the back of his neck. Due to his disorder, the animalistic-male did not feel any pain whatsoever when it happened, and it didn't penetrate very far due to his spirox abilities, but he had still felt it, as did he feel the small trickle of blood now running down his back.

Quickly, the hunter turned around to see Alcer standing there. A wide grin appeared on the man's face, although it was hidden by his mask, and he pointed his bony weapon at this other creature, this prey that had eluded him and tricked him. "Gehehe..you're a fool..you just saved me the trouble of finding you!" he exclaimed, lunging forward with Hatter(boned weapon).

Amidst the bidding mutants, Caleb stood silently. He didn't want to make any movements to attract attention. It had been sheer luck that he hadn't been found out for being a human as it was, somehow he had managed to sneak by the people supervising the event, so he didn't want to push his luck too much. Caleb held the flag tightly, knowing full well he couldn't save all the slaves unless he pulled something truly spectacular off, but perhaps he could save the mutant, or at least try. He thought of the money he had with him; hopefully it would be enough. He waited a few more moments, and then he, too, began bidding, ensuring that every time his bid was beaten the flag found its way raised again. No matter the cost, he would free this slave.

Alcer's plan had certainly worked. Darius, relying almost solely on his instincts, began scurrying quickly towards the trash can. Over there, where the noise was, the stupid thing must have tripped over it! the Left Hand thought to himself. Swiftly his feet moved, one after the other as he made his way towards the trash can. Faster and faster, closer and closer the trash can came. Then suddenly Darius was within reach. "Hiding behind it.." he said quietly to himself. Building up just a little more speed, Darius leaped forward and stretched out his arms, leaping out in the fashion an animal on four legs would. He flew right by Alcer, though he had no idea he was there, and went crashing into the trash can. After tumbling around for a moment, he got up and began rummaging in the trash that had spilled, searching for something that may give him some more knowledge on his prey.

Caleb had already arrived back at the place he was staying at. It was only a short distance away from the black market, so there was little time spent travelling to and from the place. His mind was working furiously, thinking through what he was about to do. He had given his word to Damnation that he would assist with obtaining the antidote, and he had every intention of helping him with that. However, the idea of selling any living creature into slavery was one that did not sit right with him.

He had left his quiver of blades lying in his temporary home, in favour of the katana he was so very used to. Knowing full well that if he were to be discovered, he would not only not be able to carry out his promise, but would also be in terrible danger, he had arranged a change of costume. No longer did he wear the black jacket and white shirt. He wore a pale yellow shirt, and a gray hooded sweater on top of that. He had the hood pulled up so that it concealed his hair, and wore a small, black mask that concealed the top half of his face, with small holes for the eyes to see out of. Satisfied that he could remain hidden, the boy took off from his home and began a steady run back towards the black markets; there were slaves that had to be helped, and he was the man for the job.

    Spending 15 crowns on a defence boost (+1), 15 crowns on a resistance boost(+1), and then 32 on strength boosts (+4), then 6 on a speed boost(+1).

    Skillpoints...
5 points in power(+5 STR and +5 HP), 6 in Dexterity (+6 Speed, +3 STR and +3 Magic), 5 in Heart (Strength)(+10 STR), and 1 in Stamina (+0.5 DEF and +1.5 HP) please

So in total, that's +22 Strength, +1.5 Defence, +1 Resistance, +7 Speed, +6.5 HP, +3 Magic, if I calculated correctly (I calculated twice)

Darius stopped where he stood. He, like his brother, had heard the movement, though probably not as clearly as his brother. However, he could not quite pinpoint where it was coming from. Thankfully, his brother seemed to have that covered. Following the direction that Damion's bony arm was pointing in, Darius' eyes began scanning the environment around, as he slowly crept forward. There was prey to be found, and he was the hunter. He hadn't the best of senses of smell, and his vision was no better than any ordinary human's, but should his prey make a fast movement, it would surely be discovered.

Caleb turned around. The words 'slave auction' had been enough to tell him all he needed to know. "If you excuse me. I, too, will also be taking my leave. I have many swords to sharpen, and it will take me most of the remainder of the day, probably all evening too" he said. He began leaving, but stopped after only a few steps. "You have my word I will do my best to help you take the antidote, of that there is no doubt" he stated, reassuring Damnation and hopefully increasing the chance that the mutant would not order his death for leaving. He left the area swiftly, heading back to his home, and preparing for his business that he would be doing later on that night.

Glen awoke with a start, and a not-so-masculine shriek as he felt the slimy tongue in his ear. He sat up extremely quick and glanced around the room. Ah, that's right..he had climbed the tower with a herculean effort, he had entered the tower, and then...

"Urgh..frypans hurt.." he said quietly, getting to his feet. His grogginess vanished the second he saw Flynn having the small chameleon stick its tongue in his ear. He began laughing quite a lot, finding the idea hilarious. What a great way to wake someone up! It would wake people up almost immediately, probably with them having no-

"OH MY GOD YOU DISGUSTING LITTLE LIZARD!" he cried out, now realizing exactly how he himself had been woken up at. He backed away quickly from the small reptile and his hair-ninja-friend, making sure that he kept his distance to the two as he listened to the deal that was being struck between Rapunzel and Flynn.
Once the deal had been made, he came to the conclusion that he wanted to help the two out. While one had knocked him out, and the other had left him, Cat and Etrius to die, part of him succumbed to greed; Flynn probably knew a way to get into the castle, possibly even a way to get more treasure. While he didn't have any plans to go to extreme lengths or anything to find it, the idea of having just a bit more munny in his pocket was an appealing one.

Caleb stood there quietly. At this point, things weren't going in his best interest, but then again the best interest for him would be for Damnation to simply exclude him from the group, preferably without orders for the mutant to eat him. However, he had given his word now, and he never went back on his word. The idea that had been presented was probably the best one for him though, for it meant as little loss of life as possible, and that was what Caleb hoped to achieve. He spoke up again now, still feeling as out of place as he had when he had arrived. "That plan works for me, I say that's the one we go with" he said. He knew very well Damnation would have the final say, but despite all the dangers, he could not let everyone walk all over him. He had to prove that humans were worth more than the mutants gave them credit for, and backing down and cowering was not the way to do that.

Caleb sighed. His friend was critically injured and dying. He needed someone with good knowledge on healing, someone that could take the situation as seriously as it required, someone that would keep a level head under pressure. Someone that wasn't Beuce. He needed urgent help, but in his mind Beuce could only make things worse. "No offence Beuce, but I need someone that is sane to help. Preferably someone that doesn't talk to strange voices nobody else can hear" he said. He wasn't trying to be rude, he was being honest and trying to keep his friend alive.

Juliet looked around in both surprise and panic as the dark flames circled around her. The wall seemed too thick to simply jump through, and reflect probably wouldn't hold out long enough to avoid the burns. The only solution left was to face the beast head on, something she had intended on doing anyway. As the mighty dragon lunged forward with his razor sharp fangs, Juliet had only a split second to decide what to do. She wasn't sure how, but in her head she swore she could hear a small man yelling at her to jump onto the hydra's back. "This thing isn't a hydra.." she said.
"Get up on the hydra's back!"
Juliet jumped up into the air.
"Get up on the hydra's back!"
"This thing isn't a damn hydra" she said, as she began her descent, angling herself towards Valinton's back.

"Get up on the hydra's back!"
"IT ISN'T A DAMN HYDRA YOU STUPID IDIOT" Juliet yelled out. She landed on the hydra dragon's back and began running up his neck, towards his head. As she got towards the head, she swinged her keyblade with a huge effort, channeling her frustration through the attack.

Not particularly long had passed, and already he was getting bored with this man. Surely there had to be something better to do, right? The huge rat hopped off the building he was on, and began to go for a walk. Light thuds could be heard as the rat took each step, his bulky size clearly not made to be very quiet at all, nor did Anthrax like to be. Maybe he'd leave the town and go hunting, trying to find some things to fight; the idea sounded good enough to him. A toothed grin would have been seen, had anyone been watching. "Anthrax find fight" he said simply, continuing his search.

As Flame asked Gexln whether he was there to help with the war or not, his mind flashed back to the small pile of slain squirrels that sat outside. "I'm here to help with the war. Actually, I have slain a few of the opponents' soldiers. Those woodland creatures will never, ever set foot in this house, I guarantee it" he responded, clearly not fully understanding what Flame had meant. He sheathed both his weapons now, and decided to make another sweep, in case the assassin he had so skillfully and awesomely disposed of had not been alone. After focusing for not even half a second, his eyes began to glow a slight purple colour. This ability let him see those who walked among the shadows as he did, and was a trait almost solely available to those who were as practiced in the art of stealth and deception as those they were seeking were. He began searching around, behind objects and in every nook and cranny to make sure that they were safe. If he happened to find someone, that meant a double kill would be available, and maybe even a triple kill. One could only hope.

Zane Wynter wandered the streets of Twilight City, carrying his large great sword as he did so. He, like Mist, was helping others. Before he had received the weapon to fight the heartless, Zane had tried to help fend off the heartless, but he had been unarmed then, and had been little to no help at all. Not anymore though. No, now he was armed and ready to fight for the people that needed his help.

In a narrow alleyway, and suddenly a few small, shadow-like heartless rose from the ground. This wasn't the first time he had seen this kind of heartless, he had seen them many times before, and he knew that alone they weren't too much trouble. The problem was, these ones weren't alone. Shifting his great sword into a defensive position, the swordsman prepared for the inevitable attack and began plotting his own counterattack.

Dain was seated down on the gutter nearby Zane in Twilight City. He had his war-axe sitting on his lap, and was simply waiting for his prey; the heartless. He had already cleared out a few of them himself somewhat easily, but due to the nature of the dark he had a hunch he would find some soon. A thought crossed his mind as he sat; curiousity, really. He wondered where his friend, India, was. He had told him earlier in the day he was planning to go heartless hunting, and had mostly expected him to show. However, it seemed that that was not the case.

His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of metal clanging against the ground. Eyes still closed in thought, a slight smirk appeared on the young man's face; a battle was near. Standing up, he hefted his war-axe onto his shoulders and began running towards the sounds of battle. The hunt had begun once more, and the hunter was on the move once again.

Caleb liked the idea of Ethel. Unlike the other one, that seemed to resent humans for being, well, human, she had been one of the few to actually listen. He did not, however, want to make enemies if he had to work with these people, so he decided to address her concern. "As this young girl pointed out, I could distract the guards for you people to get in. And i'm not saying who is more valuable, just think about it for a moment: this antidote, the thing everybody seems to want, this is guarded by the government. You can have all the connections you like, but if anything they'll be suspicious of you because of your ties. And, if they don't know of your ties whatsoever, then what's the harm in letting a lowly human do it?" Caleb said, deliberately insulting all of humankind in an attempt to calm the girl and persuade her to listen to reason.

His reasoning stated, the boy felt relieved slightly. With any luck, Doku would believe him and stop trying to place herself in an unfavorable situation. While Caleb did not like what Damnation had ordered one bit, he had no evidence to suggest that any of the others were involved with anything that would cause them to lose his protection. He would do what he could to get the antidote, but he would do it his way; as little loss of life as possible.

The bleeding had to stop, or at least slow down, and it had to happen right at that moment. Gexln concentrated for a brief moment and released a pulse of dark energy, knocking the wielders around him onto their backs. Quickly, he took his scarf off from around his neck, and tied it very tightly around his stomach. It wouldn't prevent the blood from seeping out completely, but it would slow it down a lot. "Not planning on dying anytime soon, so don't worry about me. Focus on the battle" Gexln responded to Xero's calls. He then heard a whistling sound come from behind him. It was made from an axe, cutting through the air. Spinning around, Gexln blocked the axe with both of his weapons, but found his knees weakening a little found the force behind the strike.

Gexln eyed this new opponent carefully. He didn't seem like anything spectacular, that much was certain, but his strike had certainly had a bit more force behind it than most of the other projections he had encountered. With a mighty heave, Gexln pushed back the axe and went for a double stabbing motion at the enemy, but to his surprise the axeman parried the strikes by swinging his axe around like a large pendulum, and then followed up with his own attack. The Nobody of the Dark leaped back a little, avoiding the attack narrowly. "Stubborn aren't you? Shame you're going to die here" Gexln commented, going in again for another attack.

Juliet stopped still in shock as her weapon seemed to miss. She wasn't sure if Valinton had moved out of the way, or she had just plain missed her attack due to all the smoke, but one thing was certain; Valinton had just stepped up his game. Where the humanesque warrior had once stood, a mighty dragon now hovered above the ground, it's huge wings sending gusts of wind in Juliet's general direction. Whilst it was somewhat intimidating, Juliet couldn't help but show a sly grin for two reasons, both being fairly simple. The first was that she was now in for a tough fight, which meant a challenge, and the second was she had an idea of just how she was going to come out on top. Juliet didn't know much about dragons, but she knew something very well about flying enemies in general; when grounded they generally don't perform as well.

Raising her keyblade, Juliet pointed it in Valinton's direction as a great light began appearing around her the weapon. "Bigger they are, the harder they fall" she said simply, still maintaining that sly yet mischievous grin. From her keyblade came a small beam of light, flying towards Valinton's left wing. The beam was similar in appearance to that of one used to seal keyholes, but much more powerful. If it hit, it would create a small explosion that would likely sear the great dragon's wing and make flying much more difficult for him.

Caleb arrived back in the Keyblade Graveyard. He had come back to finish what he had begun earlier, before he had gone after Enox and Ananta. Satsujin, his comrade and friend, was injured extremely badly. From where Caleb was in the air on his glider, he could see that nobody had tried to help him. Making great haste, the swordsman rushed on his keyblade glider towards Satsujin and landed beside him, before pondering what his next step should be.

Gexln hit the ground with a loud thud and skidded slowly to a stop. Tossed around like a ragdoll, as though he were no threat whatsoever, his pride now hurt equally as much as his body did. Standing up slowly and breathing fairly quickly, the Nobody's problems may have eased slightly, but looking over at R and Xero he could see that theirs were only getting worse. A sea of keyblades and warriors rushing towards the two spelled their death unless somebody interfered. For the first time in a while, Gexln hesitated. His wounds were severe, he could feel blood dripping down his right arm, there wasn't much chance of survival if he went in.

At that moment, his eyes came to rest on Xero, charging some kind of attack as many keyblade wielders rushed towards her. His decision made, he made a flying leap towards Xero and landed merely a few feet away from her. Normally he would have made some sort of comment, maybe even a joke, but the situation was no laughing matter. Turning to face the onslaught of keyblade wielders, Gexln began cutting them down once more.

After only a few moments, things were already becoming a struggle. As one wielder fell, another rushed forward to take their place. Another block as a keyblade came at him from his side, another swing from both blades to dispatch the projection. Suddenly, an intense pain could be felt around his stomach region. He quickly turned his attention, ignoring the excruciating pain only to see a blade protruding from his chest, fatigue slowing him just enough that its wielder had managed to sneak the attack in. Blood began seeping quickly from the open wound now, but he couldn't stop. Gritting his teeth in determination, a low growl from pain and discomfort could be heard as Gexln released his keyblade and gripped the blade and began pulling it out. After a few seconds, the blade was out, and its wielder lay dead at Gexln's feet. The damage was certainly there though, as the blood continued, and Gexln knew no healing magic whatsoever to prevent it from leaking out of him.

Juliet was surprised her father had been picked up and thrown so easily, and even moreso when he stood up. Just what would it take to bring him down? She couldn't worry about it too long though, for if she did she would be open to an attack from Valinton easily. Taking a couple of steps cautiously towards Valinton, she began circling around him on the narrow wall. He was a dangerous opponent, and if she wasn't careful the fight could be her last. Seconds seemed to last for hours, but finally she saw what she thought to be an opening in his defense, and lunged forward with the keyblade, attempting to stab forward.
