Dain was somewhat dissapointed at Dmitri stating his lack of a duel. He stood there for a moment, despite the heartless attacking, as he tried to pick what had changed. Of course! Dmitri had mentioned getting back to his sister. Maybe that was the trick to getting his duel, to completing the challenge that Dmitri had seemed interested in doing before. But how to play that to his advantage.. "Your sister?" Dain began, swinging his axe at one of the yellow heartless, but missing. "Oh, you mean that hot piece of ass back in the town? Yeah, I remember her. I remember her reeeeeeally well now" the boy said, baiting Dmitri into a response yet at the same time keeping his voice sounding as sincere as possible. He genuinely thought Dawn was good looking, but that was the extent of his interest in her, though what was the fun of letting Dmitri know that? As he missed yet again, he decided to try India's suggestion. "Aeroslash!" he called out as a small gust of wind engulfed his Axe. He swang the axe much faster than he had before, and sure enough the heartless was taken down. It seemed they were evasive to regular attacks, but magic was the way to go. Zane observed the heartless carefully. One of the heartless would float in place, before moving around the others a bit and coming to a standstill again only moments later. This process was repeated a few times, the creature not actually attacking them. Could it be some kind of game? "Maybe if we take them all out at the same time, they'll be gone before they get a chance to attack!" he exclaimed. Swinging his great sword in a mighty arc, Zane felt no impact whatsoever when cutting through the 'followers' of the first heartless that had appeared, as though they weren't even there. Almost immediately after one of the ethereal heartless vanished, however, the real one came at Zane. Attempting to block the attack with the center of his blade, the heartless was too quick and struck him quickly. "Gah!" he cried out, the impact stinging slightly. In his moment of pain, the swordsman lost sight of his target, and spun quickly to find it. He found it rather quickly, and was surprised to see that it was back doing the same thing as before. Zane thought of the way his blade had cut through with the first attack, as though he were slicing at a ghost, and suddenly it clicked. "Hey, I think the only real one there is the one that attacked me, the rest are just decoys!" he said to Tyson, before turning his attention back to the heartless that was still doing its rotation.
Gexln chose to ignore Natana's comments. She seemed familiar somehow, but he was sure he didn't know her, so why would her opinion matter to him? Seemingly over his shock of Karina being there, the darkness user stood up. After dusting himself off, he took a quick look to make sure Karina wasn't near him. No longer convinced he was dead, he was still wary of her. Time cured many things, but hatred could last an eternity if the person chose, and he was sure some part of her still held the hatred for him he had earned all those years ago. Gexln picked up Darkness' Sorrow off the ground, and heard R calling out. There was a part of him that was unsure about sealing away Xindai. Despite the horrible things he had done, he was indeed powerful, and his control over darkness and the mind seemed unparalleled; part of Gexln really wanted to learn more. However, one look at Xero reminded him of the pain he had brought. No matter what Xindai could teach him, he had to be sealed away. He gave a brief thumbs up to Xero to tell her he was okay, before strolling over to where R was. Summoning the keyblade once more, he looked at it. How long had he gone without it, pushing it away for darkness and the power it gave? Too long, it seemed. Memories swirled around in Gexln's mind. Xindai, manipulating his thoughts..Xindai, delving into Xero's deepest fears and secrets and exploiting them..and Xindai, attempting to kill them all and nearly causing him to lose himself to the darkness once more. Rage bubbled away in Gexln's head, as he stepped forward and right in front of Xindai. Pulling back his arm, Gexln slugged a punch to Xindai with all of his might, before plain spitting on him. Whilst it was vile, the Nobody felt that the Dark Creator deserved no sympathy from him, not after what he had done. He had to be sealed, and he had to go away. Forever. Standing back next to R, he too pointed his keyblade at their enemy, prepared to lock him away. Part of him couldn't help but wonder as he prepared to do the sealing though, just what had Xindai meant when he said "I was the only one who could stop them"? Juliet stopped, heart racing as she reverted back into her regular form. One moment a blast of dark firaga was coming for her, the next her opponent simply dissappeared into what looked like data. What had happened? Looking around, she noticed something; the castle was gone. Had the one that had created it been beaten? Her answer came in the form of R, calling out to seal away Xindai. After a few jumps and a short walk, Juliet was there in the cliff with the others. She would not take part in the sealing, as she had never sealed a keyhole or anything for that matter, and she had no idea how she would do it, but she did stand there, watching them and giving her support. Caleb heard R's call, but he did not come to it. While it was true, Xindai needed to be sealed away, he had firm belief that there were more than enough people to do it without him. What also contributed, however, was that his friend Satsujin, despite being healed, was still 'asleep', but seemed to be stirring. The swordsman took a seat next to his unconscious friend, and made himself comfortable. If there was one thing Caleb was good at, it was being patient in order to make sure someone was okay, and he had every intention to do that, as he waited quietly for Satsujin to awaken. The boy looked up at the cliff, knowing that somewhere in there was both R and Gexln. R, the man he had intended to help Satsujin kill at one point. Looking back at it now, he could see that R was not the villain he had thought of him to be. Despite everything, he had fought to protect them and stop the telekinetic guy, hadn't he? And Gexln..well, he was different. While Caleb had no doubt Gexln was still the person he seemed to be, his urge for vengeance had subsided a little. He had not killed Gexln, but the moment Kaxar had died, the look on his face said it all; he understood the pain Caleb had experienced. Both had had people dear to them taken away at a moment's notice, and both had overcome it, and he had no doubt that the dark warrior would come seeking his revenge, but when that time came he would be ready. All that mattered at that moment, was that Xindai was sealed away for good. Never again, will I strike down a friend he thought to himself, feeling guilty about what he had done.
Caleb nodded his head. "Stay as long as you need to. This place should be safe for the time being, and after what you've been through you should rest and unwind a little" he replied. Scratching his head lightly now, a thought only just occurred to him. "Come to think of it, I could do with a nap. Depending on how good of an actor I am, the day ahead may bring hell with it" he added. The boy turned back to face the doorway into his room. "Oerva, those two that were running the auction, they work for a very powerful man. He's going to help me get the antidote to cure the spirox gene, but should he find out that I helped set free some of the slaves, I would imagine he won't be very happy. You probably already know, but I would appreciate it if you told nobody else of what I did tonight" Caleb explained. He didn't want to come off as rude, but at the same time he felt the need to tell her. She seemed trustworthy enough, but he knew that if he fell, so did the chances of getting the antidote. After finishing speaking, Caleb walked over to his bed and collapsed into it, drifting off to sleep quickly.
Yeah I know that o.o I appreciate letting me know, but I was the 2nd one to respond to it happening haha
Hey there, welcome to KHV, the place you go when you no longer wish to have a soul, the place you can have fun with many friends online, and ultimately the place that will probably destroy what innocence you may or may not have should you venture into the spam zone! Stick around :P
Really? What changed?
Still cutting his way through heartless, thinning their numbers down as he helped the others, Dain stopped momentarily as a new heartless appeared. Unlike the others though, this one seemed to actually speak, seemed quite a bit more intelligent than the other heartless. Maybe he should have been intimidated, but being frightened was not in the young man's nature, not at all. He turned and began running towards Origin, axe raised as he did so. "You'll die, just like the rest!" he yelled out as a black sphere appeared at his feet. Still, he continued hurtling towards the heartless, sphere still following him. Right as he began to leap up and strike at Origin, the dark corridor enveloped him and Dain found himself whisked away. He hit the ground with a light thud, not expecting the corridor at all. A low growl could be heard from his throat. Few things annoyed him a lot, but one of them was when a target escaped. He decided now to look at his surroundings. He had been sent to some kind of arena-like place, from the looks of things. A fitting place for a warrior, but how many heartless would it have within, he wondered. What had brought them there, anyway? He looked around a little more and spotted his friend. "Hey, India, what do you think brought us-" he stopped, seeing the boy that had practically challenged him to a fight before. "You!" he shouted simply at Dmitri. Zane blinked twice as he sat still on the floor of a forest. One moment, he had been there fighting off heartless, the next he had been sent to this forest place by some strange portal. What had the bigger heartless done, and what had happened to the others? Were they alright? All these questions and more floated around in Zane's head, but there was nobody to answer them. Taking in the area he was in, the swordsman wasn't certain exactly where they were. Scanning the environment around, his eyes came to rest on Tyson. Perhaps the boy could tell him more about their situation. He jogged over swiftly and gave a friendly grin before opening his mouth to speak. "Excuse me, do you have any idea where we are?"
Not quite sure how well it'd work in all honesty, but hell if it's League related you've got my interest XD
Listening to what Flynn and Rapunzel said, Glen was unsure about his stance on this snuggly duckling place. On one hand, Etrius was right and they did need to complete their mission. On the other hand, though, could Flynn be trusted? Probably not. The keyblade wielder didn't trust the thief as far as he could throw him. For the sake of the mission though, he would have to go along with it. He sighed. Sometimes, doing the right thing really sucked. "Fiiiine, lets get going" Glen said. Walking over to the edge of the window, Glen looked out of it and down below. They were somewhat high up, but that was expected when you're isolated in a tower, wasn't it? Carefully, he lifted his leg up and over the edge, before doing the same with his other leg. He then brought his whole body out of the window, and gripped the edge of it with his hands as he lowered himself down slowly. For once, he was being cautious; this was a rare thing for him. Lower and lower he got, until he was about halfway down the tower. It was at this point things went poorly for him. He became suddenly aware of an itch on his nose, and an unbearable one at that. His face turned into one of annoyance as he tried to ignore it, but eventually he gave in. Holding on with only one hand, he carefully began scratching his nose. For a second, everything was fine, and then he lost his grip with his right hand and fell to the ground with a loud "oof".
Glen Does not often think things through.
Caleb was grateful for the slaves being freed, he felt he owed something to this girl now. He was still thinking about it when Oerva kissed him on the cheek. His face went red immediately, and he simply stood there for a moment, unsure of what had just happened. He then quickly gathered himself and hurried back to his home. Once inside, Caleb threw off the cloak, letting it fall neatly on the back of a chair, as he took off his mask and placed that on the chair itself. Without a word, the male went into his room and made sure to close the door behind him, where he quickly got changed into the clothing he usually wore; the things he had been wearing before the slave auction, and walked out into the main room again. He strolled over to Oerva and held out a hand. "Caleb Stitem, a pleasure to meet you" he greeted, a friendly grin on his face as he said so. [/url] Darius was still dragging himself up as Alcer began yelling about being eaten. A sadistic, evil smirk appeared on his face, although this was hidden behind the mask on his face. "Yes, yes you are" he said with a creepy laugh at the end of it. The madman continued climbing, surprised at how long the fire escape seemed to be, when a small gleam of sunlight reflected off the shard Alcer had thrown at him. Nearly completely ignoring it, Darius continued climbing. If the shard hit, it would probably bounce off his mask, and if it did indeed pierce his eye, it would do no lasting damage; not with his durability. The shard did indeed hit his mask and bounce off it, as Darius' grin slightly widened. As his prey got more and more desperate, the likelihood of him getting another meal got closer and closer. Darius was drooling now, slobber coming from his mouth and dribbling down his body as he picked up the pace. Any second now and they would be at the top of the building, on the roof; which meant Alcer was running out of options even faster than he probably thought.

Just wanted to let you know that there was a post in Origins responding. I'm not asking you to post at all, I just recall you requesting to be...
http://kh-vids.net/threads/origins.144523/ Oh dear, a link to a rp. However did that get there?
Caleb stood still for a moment, eyes wide in shock. He had expected anger, or at least dissapointment, for not being able to save the other slaves, but the reaction he'd gotten was far from it. The girl seemed genuinely thankful, and this was a reaction Caleb himself was pleased with, but at the same time he couldn't help but feel bad about the other slaves, the ones that hadn't gotten away. "There's nothing to thank me for. What Damnation did was something I will never forgive him for. The lives that may be lost for my failure to save the others today, their blood is on my hands. I'll do what I can to prevent it. The mutants deserve the antidote, but selling innocents' lives is not the way to do it" he responded, not quite sure of exactly what he should say. He was thankful that the mask hid his shock at her reaction, and now pointed in the direction of his home. "Over there, that's where you'll be safe" he said, now beginning to slowly walk over towards the home.
Gexln opened his eyes slowly. Every inch of his body ached, he had pushed himself too far to the point he felt as though he could have died. Eyes adjusting to the background, to the people around, they suddenly widened as he realized who was hovering over him. It was at that moment he believed he had died. He had long heard rumours that the first thing that happened when you died was you soiled yourself; it appeared the rumours were true. He let out a shrill shriek and threw himself away from Karina, skidding along the ground slightly with the sheer force he had put behind his escape. If he were truly dead, he must have been in hell, for he was stuck at a place that both Karina and Xindai were in. Gexln, at that stage, seemed less like the dark murderer he was, and more like the somebody he had once been. "I knew you were too much of a b**** to get into heaven!" he whined, now laying on the ground and hoping against hope that he was not in fact dead, and this was merely a cruel trick being played on him by Xindai. Caleb looked at Anta for a moment. How was he to explain who Satsujin was, to someone that had obviously never seen him in his life. "He's someone in dire need of healing, and someone that is a friend, that's all you need to know for the moment" he replied simply. His attention was grabbed at that moment by Dawn, who had now thrown Beuce into the air. He folded his arms and allowed himself a small smile; what was about to happen would surely be entertaining, he was sure of that.
Dain huffed at India's explanation of his rudeness. He didn't deny them, however, because it was half true. While he did have hormones raging inside of him, he was most certainly not desperate. "And you're making comments like that because the only time you spend with any women are the ones mentioned in those books you have your head stuck in all the time" he retorted. He was then about to answer Dmitri's challenge, but stopped as he heard a scream. Screams meant terror, which was usually started by heartless around those parts. The only thing Dain liked more than a challenge was slaughter. Zane, hearing the screams, reacted faster than Dain did by far. While the meathead was standing there running his mouth, there were people in danger, meaning there was no time to speak. "Grateful for your help earlier, but less talk and more action" the swordsman said quickly as he rushed past Dain and towards the heartless. These heartless were different, meaning they probably fought differently too. No matter what, though, there was no reason to allow them to live, despite what the male with the glaive had requested. Great sword raised, he muttered a few words as he charged the heartless and immediately the heartless was frozen in place. Whilst the creature was unable to act, Zane swung his weapon in huge arcs, cutting it to ribbons before it unfroze and vanished in a vapour. While others may have gloated, or even felt pride over this accomplishment, Zane did not. Whilst there were people in danger, he would not rest. Dain stood still for a moment, surprised. He didn't see what Zane did as trying to save individuals, of course he wouldn't see it that way. No, he saw it as Zane trying to outdo him and make him look weak; something he despised. "I'll keep one alive, India, but only if I get to land the killing blow once you've finished with it" he said simply, before running in, too, to slay the heartless. His axe a blur as he began swinging it recklessly, he rushed towards the black creatures and engaged in combat with them. New creatures or not, he was willing to bet they'd all die the same as the previous forms.
If Alcer had thought Darius would stop because of pedestrians, he was sorely mistaken. The Left Hand picked up speed now, this chase quickly becoming less of a game and more of a simple hunt for more food. As he ran by pedestrians, he couldn't help but wonder why the alleyways were so popular all of a sudden, but there was no slowing down. If a civilian stepped in front to stop him, to help Alcer escape, he would run them through with his bone-blade just as he planned to do to Alcer. Right as the trash can came flying at him, Darius did a small hop to avoid it and continued running, no speed lost whatsoever. The moment Alcer got onto the fire escape, Darius had almost caught up to him. The madman's speed wasn't particularly quick, only slightly faster than Alcer's, but if they continued in a simple chase the Left Hand had no doubt he would catch him. Fortunately for Alcer, Darius only had one arm able to grab things, and so his climb was slightly slower than his prey's, giving Alcer a little more time to escape. Pulling himself up with sheer determination using his right arm, the psycopath began launching himself upwards until he was only seconds away from the one he chased. He could practically feel the soft flesh against his arm, piercing through the skin, could practically smell the delicious smell of blood flowing through his nostrils, and this only caused him to go further, bloodlust taking over more and more as he did so. Caleb slowed down a little after escaping the black market's auction hall. He was still wary, worried he may still be being chased, but he didn't feel right fleeing as they were with Oerva still looking as though she were a prisoner. Brandishing his sword again, he did the same motion to the shackles around the girl's wrists as he had with the ones on her feet previously. "You are no longer a slave, no longer a prisoner, so it would be wrong to continue with you looking as though you are" he explained simply, as if he expected her to ask why he was freeing her from them. "What they were doing, selling slaves as though they had no right to a free life, it was horrendous and wrong, and while I breathe I will do what I can to prevent acts like that" he added, predicting a question such as "why did you free me" or something along those lines. He looked to the distance, where he could see his small house. "If you're willing, I have a safe place you can stay" Caleb offered finally.
