Glen was beginning to dislike the land of departure. Despite the place being seemingly straightforward, he found himself getting lost. No matter which path he took, he kept finding himself in places that weren't the one he wanted. He ran his fingers through his short hair and then kicked at a rock on the ground in frustration. He had never been good with directions, but this was ridiculous! Looking around, he saw one of the other wielders that he recognized. He didn't know the person's name (it was Steel), but he remembered seeing the boy before. The person he was near though, now that was a new face. Glen hurried over to the two and stopped nearby them. He wasn't next to them, but he wasn't particularly far away. "You're new, who the heck are you?" he asked Stratos. He made the decision quickly that it wasn't important. So long as he was neither a hun, a bird, or someone trying to stab him with a keyblade, he was probably not an enemy. Satisfied slightly, he turned to look at Steel. "Remember where that Blaze guy was before? Any chance you can show me where it was?" he questioned.
Caleb opened his eyes slowly, still dreary. He wasn't sure how, but somehow he had gotten to the top of the cliff...and was being held by Ananta. For a brief moment, he wasn't too worried. It was odd that she was grabbing him by the hair, but she was his ally. It was at that moment that he remembered the Blizzaga shots. Quickly he shook himself free, and he leaped across a few steps with newfound stamina. "Why did I assist him? The first time was an accident, the second time I owed him for saving my life" he replied. A metallic sound could be heard as Caleb summoned both the blades he had been wielding before, once again surprising even himself with his regained energy. The summoning of the blades could be taken in many ways, though there was only one way that he intended. "I think the better question here is why you tried to kill me while I was protecting you" Caleb fumed. Juliet blocked the strikes from Sabell. She wasn't ridiculously experienced in battles, but she was no stranger to them either, so blocking Sabell's attacks had been something she had been comfortable with doing. She looked at Xero out of the corner of her eye, acknowledging the change of appearance. Part of her wanted to follow suit, to tap into the chaos within, but that was dangerous and she would not do it if she could help it. Juliet could not play defensively forever though, not if she wanted to win the battle. Reacting swiftly, Juliet fired a dark firaga at Sabell, and then leapt forward and performed an overhead strike with her keyblade.
I'd like to sign up Glen for Corona if that's possible.
Juliet was surprised when Xero blocked the attack. Not just because of the speed in which she had done so, but also because Juliet had given her sort of a rough time before. Though, one good deed would most certainly not make Juliet okay with whatever it was Xero was hoping for. At Xero's realization of what Juliet had called her, the girl shrugged her shoulders. "I call it like I see it, if you don't like it then stop trying to do it" came the response, cheeky as ever. Despite Juliet having a slight dislike for Xero, Xero had possibly just saved her life, and a debt was a debt no matter who it was that did it. She sighed. The idea of fighting alongside was one that aroused curiousity in Juliet. She would get to find out just what Xero's fighting style was like, which was interesting since she didn't see a lot of scythe wielders. She took a step forward, and mouthed a silent 'thank you' to Xero, before turning her attention to Sabell. While she didn't particularly go looking for fights, she almost never backed down from one. Juliet summoned her keyblade, Twisted Star, and then held it in a ready position. "If anyone is going to die here, it's you. Sorry, but that's the way it's gotta be" the daughter of chaos said, in a tone much like one that her father would use.
Juliet turned and looked at Xepphiras, who had suddenly just questioned the other boy on how sure he was that they wouldn't turn on him. A thought came to her, one that reminded her more of the tone her mother had always spoken in, and the beliefs she held, rather than her murderous father's ideals. "Nobody needs to fight each other here. Light and dark can work alongside each other, I am living proof of that. I've accepted it, and I fight for myself rather than some belief of 'right' or 'wrong', why can't you?" she asked, speaking with much more wisdom than a girl of her age should possess. She was about to continue, but her attention was grabbed by a battle going on a short distance away. Glancing over quickly, Juliet immediately recognized a fierce and tense battle when she saw it. She also saw Xero, who seemed to be ready to kill the boy that stood in front of her. Juliet took off without a moment's hesitation. She ran as fast as her legs would take her, and she slowed down just as she got close to Xero. "Hey, miss I-wanna-bone-juliet's-dad, don't kill that guy, there's been far too much blood shed here already!" Juliet called out, wincing at the memory of her mother's body impaled by the swords. Despite her beliefs of light and darkness co-existing, there was no power that would save her mother's killer when Juliet got her hands on him. For the moment though, she needed to try to prevent the meaningless deaths that seemed as though they were certain to happen.
Glen glided down casually on his keyblade glider, landing in the land of departure. He paused for a moment when he hopped off the glider. What was he meant to do? He didn't know many people, and those that he did know he didn't know particularly well, would they be bothered if he went to speak to them? Glen was not a gambling person, so instead of going to talk to other he began to walk towards the area that Blaze had appeared in before. Who knew, maybe somebody else would appear, or maybe he could find out more about the timeline and how to change it. With an objective now in mind, Glen began jogging lightly towards his destination, hoping that he would find answers when he arrived.
Caleb was falling towards the ground, falling...falling..and then suddenly..he stopped. He looked below himself for an explanation, and he noticed the aeroga stopping his descent. Whether Enox had intended to or not, he may have just saved Caleb's life. Upon hearing Enox's comments about 'dropping by' he lowered his keyblade just a little bit. "You can help me with something. You need to get out of here, to leave these people alone, they don't nee-" his sentence was cut off as a Blizzaga shot by him. Caleb barely managed to maneuver his body out of the way of the Blizzaga, but another one was on the way. He turned his head slightly to see that Ananta was shooting. "The hell are you doing?!" he yelled out. Even if Ananta was trying to hit Enox, she shouldn't be risking an ally's life. Caleb gulped. He had freed Enox unintentionally before when he tried to attack, but if he went through with what he was about to do then he would very much be helping Enox. He had saved his life though. Using the last bit of energy Caleb had left, he summoned the wall shield and blocked five of the blizzaga shots that were coming towards him and Enox, however on the fifth shot the shield broke, Caleb's energy almost nonexistant. Panting out of exhaustion, Caleb's keyblade disappeared and he felt himself lose consciousness. In his last conscious moments, Caleb managed to glare at Ananta before he passed out completely.
Juliet stopped her cure, satisfied that Kaya would recover swiftly. The moment Juliet heard Xepphiras speak about her light going away, Juliet turned to look at her. The girl seemed upset, she needed something reassuring, and thankfully the truth would help with that. She stood up quietly and walked a couple of steps towards Xepphiras, to the point she was standing right next to the girl. "You can lose your heart, you can lose absolutely anything, but no matter what there will always be at least a small amount of light in you, all you need to do is find it" Juliet reassured, flashing a smile at Xepphiras. It wasn't a cocky smile, or one that was plotting like it usually was, it was one of warmth, one that filled people with hope, a genuine smile. Kaya was stirring now, and as if to prove her point, Juliet pointed down at Kaya. "If your light was truly gone, you'd be a heartless, and you probably wouldn't care about anybody else, but the way you nursed your sister shows that that isn't the case" she said. She then turned and pointed way out to the distance, out to where her father was fighting Kel. "My dad got completely taken over by the darkness, he killed entire villages of people, but even he cares about things. He'll never admit it, but even he has a little light inside of him. If someone like that has it, then you definately do" Juliet reassured. Caleb looked at Enox, who had just gone over the edge of the cliff. Beuce seemed to be very injured, so Caleb doubted he would go after him. Reaching inside a pocket in his jacket, Caleb pulled out his last potion. It wasn't much, but hopefully it would help. He hurried over to Beuce and held it out in front of him. After a brief second, he placed it on the ground gently in front. "I can see the drive in your eyes Beuce, and the fact that you seem to be kind of serious right now shows how dire this situation is. I'm going to do what I can to get that guy away from her, so you take this potion and recover a little, enough that you can help her while I get the other guy off her, alright?" Caleb asked. As Caleb walked away from Beuce and towards the cliff, he silently said a quick prayer in his head. He wasn't religious at all, but what he was about to do was sheer insanity and if his energy reserves failed him could easily result in his death. He couldn't stop though. If Beuce was as injured as he looked and was still going on, Caleb wouldn't stand by and let him fight alone. He looked at his keyblade, which he held securely in his right hand, before he leaped off and over the edge of the cliff. He began descending headfirst rapidly towards the ground. Below him he saw his target, the man who called himself Enox. Caleb gritted his teeth together and stretched out his arms. "Get away from them!" he yelled out as he began nearing Enox, ready to strike out with his keyblade the second he got into range.
Samantha rather enjoyed the rest of the day she had. She hadn't known Analise for particularly long, but she enjoyed talking to the girl. Despite the age difference, the two of them seemed to get along. Of course, Analise wasn't the only one that spent the day with Sammy; Mr Bear was never left behind for even a moment. The young girl made sure to have as much fun as she could while talking to her two friends; something she rarely ever felt. As the day turned to night, Samantha felt herself getting a little tired, which wasn't too unusual for her. She thought about the day she had been through, and the days before that. She really couldn't think of a lot of things that she hadn't liked about them, other than destroying Kyla's song. Where was Kyla? Shouldn't she have been back? She felt a little sad, sad because the only other person she had really come close to being friends with hadn't showed up again. A small pang of sadness resonated within Samantha as she lay in her bed later. I guess Kyla went home.. she thought to herself. Upon hearing Analise thank her, Sammy let out a little gasp. She was being thanked? She couldn't remember a lot of times people had said thank you to her, or even been grateful for something she had done. It seemed like more often then not she was being criticized for something. It gave her a warm feeling, and she couldn't help but replace that wave of sadness with a feeling of warmth. The child thought more about the day she had been through. She had genuinely enjoyed the day, and most of the people there seemed nice. Samantha hugged Mr Bear tight to her chest as she slowly drifted off to sleep. She felt like saying something to Mr Bear as she drifted, something she had never said before. "I hope things stay this way forever, Mr Bear"
Hey there, welcome to KH-Vids! Someone else will probably point it out, but be sure to read the rules and make sure to have fun and you'll fit in nicely!
I would like to spend my two stat points on dexterity. If they remain at 0 points, then I would like to learn the ability "Beg" and use it to get my two points back.
Personally I've never played Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, but I've seen all the cutscenes and I actually really like Aqua. There are some instances where it seemed kind of bland, I'll agree on that, but for the most part I liked the sound and gentleness of her voice. I hope to see her in any future games that involve Aqua.
Okay, firstly I think it's safe to say my mind wandered a little bit when you said Tifa D-Link. Secondly, I like the idea of the guest character idea. Considering there's a war going on in KH3 (I think) it would work pretty well if you had some allies that could come in and like, replace either donald or goofy for a few seconds to do one devastating attack. Maybe some of the FF characters will be included as summons through a summoning trinket like disney characters did in KH2?
Caleb stood still in pure shock. One moment Anta and Dawn had been there, and he had been on his way to help, the next they had taken off. He shifted his gaze now, slowly, to that of Ananta and Beuce fighting Enox. Or were they fighting Enox? He noticed Ananta dive over the edge, into the canyon after using Blizzaga on Enox. He would have worried, if it wasn't for the fact he saw her summon the keyblade glider as she went over the edge. That girl was brave. Caleb sprinted over to Beuce now, who he was pleased to see was wielding the keyblade he had summoned. Caleb slowed down for just a second as he neared Beuce. "Don't slow down now Beuce, we've gotta keep him busy so he doesn't attack Ananta and the others" Caleb said simply as he raced past Beuce and leaped towards Enox. In an instant, Caleb de-summoned his blades and summoned his keyblade, metal chocobo, instead and swung out at Enox's feet.
Glen listened to Beuce's explanation, taking note of just how crazy the world that Beuce had been on did seem. How would he have coped if he had been there? Probably not very well. He then narrowed his eyes in suspicion as Beuce mentioned the hun and the bird. While he had certainly not been violated by the hun and his bird, it wasn't far from it, but how had Beuce known that? "Well..after surviving an avalanche, watching Karina and Flora genderbend, and saving China..yeah okay you know what you're right I got violated, but keep it on the down low" Glen admitted shamefully, lying partially. He figured that was easier than trying to explain the truth to Beuce.
