Call me crazy but I get the feeling you like Attack on Titan. Just a hunch though, so I could be wrong. You sound like you certainly have good taste in anime though, so i'm sure you'll get along great with most people here, welcome to the family!
Glen doubled over in pain as the punches collided. Her strength stat was only 11, why did she hit so hard? Was there some kind of item she had that let her hit like a truck? Nonetheless, it had finally happened; he had been beaten up by a girl. He would never live this down, he was sure of it. He coughed a few times before standing up straight. "You know..you hit.." another cough, "pretty damn hard" he finished. He pondered for a moment on whether or not he should continue with what he wanted to say. There was a high chance he would get punched a few more times if he did, and he still had Etrius to deal with. All in all, was it worth it? Probably not. The wielder made the decision to admit defeat and move on. "Okay okay, I'm sorry. But seriously, the guy takes every opportunity to go evil daaaaarknesss on us, but I'm not allowed to set him on fire once in a while? Talk about unfair" he said, stretching out darkness for emphasis and crossing his arms, showing his dislike of the situation.
Glen stopped walking now. From the sounds of his stomach grumbling now, Kaida and Cat weren't the only ones thinking of food. "Ugh..someone remind me why we didn't stop to eat at the snuggly duckling place again?" he called back, now very much wishing he had something to eat. He continued walking after that statement, even if it was at a little slower pace. The male was bored from all the walking; why was the tunnel so long? Maybe there was something he could do, something to make it more entertaining. Slowing down to the pace of a snail, Glen now looked on as everybody walked past him. A sly, mischievous grin appeared on his face as he fell back and observed Etrius for a moment. Surely he would give the best reaction to what Glen was about to do, and if not then well hey at least he got to piss him off, which given the way he had treated Glen it wasn't such a bad thing. Focusing for a moment, the wielder began to channel his magic into his hands instead of his keyblade, and willed a fireball to fire from his fingertips, straight at Etrius. Sure enough, a small flame appeared at the bottom of Etrius' clothing, and Glen couldn't help but burst out laughing. "Hey Etrius, I take back what I said about you being crazy before. Clearly you're so good at everything, you're on fire!" he said, falling into a fit of laughter once more. It then dawned on him that perhaps it wasn't the best idea to be cooped up in a narrow tunnel with a dark maniac trying to murder you, so he took off as fast as he was able to, now making a mad dash towards the exit, hopefully before his victim caught up to him and extracted revenge.
Senpai, what happened to the LoL rp? D:
G'day mate, how's it goin? Be sure to stop by my profile and we'll chuck a few shrimps on the barbie 'kay mate? Crikey that sounded like the stereotypical aussie. Welcome to KHV :P
Hey Nami, nice to meet you. I go by the name Dr Wigglz on here, and I figured i'd drop by and roll out the welcome mat so to speak. How do you feel about the colour red? Maybe orange? You know what, just take one that has all the colours on it, that'll do right? D: Spoiler
The image I have for Glen on the sos wiki is actually a character from another anime, can't remember which one though. All I know is that instead of blue eyes he has brown eyes, but if you could make one for him that'd be awesome
I completed the trivia section for Camelot's wiki pages, earning myself the Unbound keyblade instead of half of it.
Glen continued walking, continued wondering about the origins of the tunnel, as he traversed the narrow tunnel. He could see a small trickle of light ahead, he was sure of it, and as he saw that his pace picked up. Sure that he was not dead, the potential exit was a very welcome sight indeed. The sooner he got out, the sooner he could move on from those dark and depressing things he had said, things that should he stay too long in there could be questioned.
Jim had decided not to go back to Dynami after all. With bow in hand, he had walked most of the way to Kikei. Perhaps it would have been smarter to go in with some allies, or at least prepare a little better, but the longer he waited the longer it was until his family was avenged. He could hear a soft thudding noise around him, as though a huge creature was nearby, but he could in fact see nothing. Stringing his bow and knocking an arrow, Jim began cautiously progressing forward, prepared for almost anything that would come his way. Stephen was somewhat surprised, although his expression remained neutral. He had not seen that costume personally, but searching through Caleb's memories he had seen moments that the boy had worn the costume, usually moments when he did not want to be discovered. Well, it made sense that he had worn it at the auction, then. It was only logical, after all. "I have seen this boy before. He and I have met many times before, though he is nothing but an acquaintance to me. Come" came the simple command, as Stephen turned simply and began walking towards where he knew Caleb's home to be. While there was the chance Valinton could try to kill him upon seeing him, Stephen would know about it before he even attempted it, so leading him to Caleb wasn't that dangerous for the boy, at least not at that moment. If he could convince Caleb to give himself up, it would be taking a gamble but having somebody on the inside, closest to the leader would likely prove invaluable, and so it was a worthy risk in Stephen's eyes.
I'm concerned there isn't enough abridged posts or ghost kaxar posts
Glen shrugged his shoulders. "I wouldn't say I'm easy to get along with. I annoy people a lot, unintentionally for the most part" he said simply. He continued walking, watching the wall as he did. Such a long tunneel, what was the purpose of it when it was being made? Was it some kind of transportation route, some kind of escape tunnel? Maybe it was simply a way for people to walk if they didn't want a scenic route. "What kinda things do you think this place was used for before us? I'm going to guess because it's from a place that thugs like to hang out at, it was an escape hatch or something" he said, trying to change the conversation topic. It made him feel a little awkward talking about his past, it was not something he liked to think about.
Dain observed the conversation between Dmitri and India. Normally he would have gotten a bit frustrated at what Dmitri had said, but he knew India well enough to know that in a verbal confrontation, he rarely lost. The guy's wit was possibly more dangerous than his glaive, he had seen many people try to outsmart him and fail. Dain would never admit it, but India was the most intelligent person he knew. He had to supress a laugh at just how badly Dmitri had been beaten, though. Walking over, Dain reached into his pocket and produced a Remedy from it. After looking at it for a couple of seconds, he tossed it to Dmitri. "Here's a remedy, to fix up the burn you just received. I'm all out of phoenix downs, so you're just gonna have to deal with that dead sister. Look on the bright side though, I'll protect your good looking sister since obviously you can't" he said, not making any attempt to be nice to him. He turned and began walking over towards Noir, but not before casually tossing another Remedy back to Dmitri. "Can't give this place a name, but considering we're stuck with mister dark and moody over there, i'd say the heartless killed us and we're in hell" he said, half joking as he spoke.
Glen listened as Kaida ranted about them discussing other worlds and their apparent lack of subtlety. Twice he opened his mouth, about to speak, and twice he realized that while it wasn't the best way to explain things to them, her words sort of made sense. Probably not in the way she had meant, but what was the point of worrying other people? 'oh yeah just so you know your world's going to be consumed by darkness and all your friends and family will probably die if we don't hurry. That cool? good' didn't strike Glen as a particularly nice way to speak to the people of the world. They knew nothing of where Glen and the rest of the party were from, probably knew nothing about the keyblade too, what was the point of causing them to worry? At Kaida's mention of her home, the young keyslinger couldn't help but feel the slightest bit of sympathy for her. He knew the pain of longing for something, and he knew it all too well. How many nights had he spent staring up at the night, wishing he could change things, to get his father back? He had been the only one he had ever felt like he could trust, and then one day he had just vanished, taken from him by the heartless. The other kids and families gave no sympathy whatsoever for his 'missing' father, some even going so far as to laugh about the fact he was upset over it. Nobody he could trust there, nobody that particularly cared for him, only pain, regret, and the consistent longing feeling, he never wanted to return there. "Yeah well, at least you have a home" Glen said quietly, loud enough the others would hear but only if they were paying attention. He continued walking, but felt that that was a very depressing statement to leave it at, which it probably was. "I spar a little, but I generally just do anything that comes to mind. Not exactly a hobby, but it beats just sitting there thinking "oh no the world's going to end, what will I say to my friends?" he said. A slight laugh followed that, one that almost sounded like snickering, before he returned to a depressive sort of mood. "Yeah, as if I have friends" the boy added, barely audible as he spoke.
If Gexln had expected the fight to be over simply from a dark firaga, he was wrong. Not only had it not had much impact on Natana, but she had seemed to shrug off the damage almost immediately. As she leaped at Gexln, he couldn't help but think of the dark claws Ansem had used. They seemed similar in appearance, and the way that she was attacking seemed almost identical, which made it much easier for him to avoid the attacks. The first few attacks he dodged with relative ease, but as they came faster and more unpredictably he began taking small scratches to his sides every so often, unable to avoid all of the attacks. He saw, in the corner of his eye, Caleb fending off the heartless and neoshadows, but from sheer numbers alone it seemed he wouldn't be able to hold them off for long. Caleb was indeed holding off the shadow creatures. He had his signature twin katanas out and was cleaving through them quickly while doing his best to avoid being grabbed by them. However, as each fell it was quickly replaced by another, fresh and equally as eager to get to him as the one before had been. He stopped suddenly, only now noticing he was surrounded by several shadows, and one Neoshadow. How had he not seen their movements, getting into position? His hands began glowing with a faint light, only to have several blades appear around him, small but strong. At Caleb's will, each of the blades shot forward in a ring of death, dispatching the shadows around him. He then turned his attention to the Neoshadow, and summoned several more blades above it, before making a slamming down motion with his hand and causing them to impale the creature, turning it into black vapour as it died. Hearing the sound of blades being summoned, Gexln knew immediately that it was the work of Caleb, experience from his battles with him telling him that much. Glancing quickly towards him, he saw that Caleb was dealing with the heartless much faster than he had thought. Maybe Caleb was better than Gexln gave him credit for. Then again, he'd taken the easy enemies; Gexln had the stronger opponent without a doubt. But, was he really going to get outdone by him? Not a chance. Turning back to Natana in time to see another strike come at him, the Nobody showed the slightest hint of a savage grin, as he opened his mouth to speak. "What do you say we kick things up a notch?" he asked rhetorically as he took a step back and swiftly released a dark firaga. As the dark firaga flew towards Natana, he followed behind it, raising Darkness' Sorrow in his left hand, and summoning his keyblade in his right. He was now dual wielding, prepared to match Natana's double weapons with his own. As he was charging, it finally clicked; he now understood why Natana looked familiar. There was a slight resemblance, but the scent of her darkness wasn't altogether different from someone he once knew."You know, I always figured you were too weak to fight the darkness off for long, Ananta. Guess I was right!" he said, raising his voice as he brought keyblade and sword crashing down in a vertical slam towards the Natana clone's skull. Juliet turned her head to look at Eon and Karina. The way that he spoke to her suggested affection, as though they had been very close for a long time. Still though, they had just finished fighting for their lives before, and now they were doing it again, against a giant creature that looked as though it could kill them simply by stepping on them, no less. She rolled her eyes. "Bleh, get a room after this is done, we've gotta get that thing away from here" Juliet said in a matter-of-fact tone. She then tossed her keyblade into the air and turned it into its glider form. Omega was big enough that striking at its legs would probably not hurt it at all, but maybe if she could get a good strike at the head it would drop fast. At least, that was the plan. With haste, she glided straight towards Omega, yelling out with enthusiasm as she flew towards it and prepared to swing when she got within range.
Glen waved a hand across his face, as if to swat away Cat's words. "We've got aaaaages, what's the harm in expressing our dreams? What are your dreams Cat? Got somethin against us all getting along and singing together?" he questioned. Glen enjoyed music as much as the next person, but he generally didn't sing, however the thugs could be singing whatever they liked, but they still sure as hell looked intimidating enough that you wanted to fit in. "Alright, I'm lying. I'm as over this singing as you are, let's just hurry up and get out of here before I snap and try to strangle Etrius again" he admitted. After a few moments, he began wandering over towards Kaida, Rapunzel and Flynn, and gave a very small wave. "Lets get goin, I need to sober up on the walk" he said, surprisingly attempting to be a little more responsible for his drunken actions.
Dain did as India had asked, and with a swirling motion with his wrist he created a sphere of air, encasing the heartless inside of it. The boy then knelt down and stared at the heartless. "I saw one of these things soak up your lightning like it was nothing. Must be losing your touch, or these things are getting stronger. You're supposed to be the smart one, what would you say's the best way for me to cut through them?" the axe wielder asked. He had not forgotten Dmitri, but when someone was standing by swinging a blade at nothing, it didn't seem like a fantastic idea to approach them. There would be time later anyway, he was sure of it.
I wouldn't say they're useless. They could speed up level grinding by killing things faster, but I do agree that the main point of them is for collective purposes (I think). I never really saw a reason to go for them myself, but I can understand why some would.
I have a friend that loves the gameplay aspect of it, but he claims it's a childish game and made for kids. I have gone over the more adult moments of the games and whatnot with him (if you could call them adult moments) but he still insists it's childish, and it annoys me slightly.
While the movie itself does look good, and I will probably see it, I don't like the way they're trying to explain this backstory. Supposedly it explains why she's so evil and whatnot, and that really annoys me. Maleficent has always been my favourite disney villain. She's meant to be this evil witch, not "oh I was only trying to defend this", it just takes away so much for me :(
