Spiritia were perfectly harmless to those that could be called good people with the right intentions. It was a shame Hunter was neither of these. Perhaps the man should have been pissed off that Feo was alive, but in all honesty it was the complete opposite. He was ecstatic that the saying he had heard as a child was wrong. "Heeeeey, it's Scrawny. You know, I was starting to wonder when some person was gonna come walkin' in here. I thought for sure you were leadin' us into a trap, guess I was right. Either way, I'm thrilled you're not dead" he said. He took a few steps over towards the lustor, before raising his sword and sporting a wicked grin. "'cause it means I get to kill ya again, and how often do people get the opportunity to do that?" he said, his tone remarkably similar to how a child's would be upon opening presents on Christmas morning.

If he had plans to kill Feo there and then, which he certainly did, the Spiritia did not seem to like them at all. He began feeling the small balls of light repeatedly ramming him in the stomach, pushing him away with rather painful attacks. He continued trying to walk forward, until they then moved up towards his face and continued their assault. Instinctively, he held up his hands to block them. "Back off you stupid little orb things, not the face! Not the face!" he shouted. Maybe they heard him, or maybe they just got sick of seeing Hunter's mug, but they moved down and flew into his pants. "Not there either!" he yelled out, now dropping his sword and shoving both hands down his pants in a desperate attempt to get them out.

Sven wanted to rush in to attack The Warden, he wanted to attempt murder once more. He knew it wasn't a good idea though. So far, most of their attempts had been thwarted by The Warden's uncanny ability to avoid serious injury. Sven acknowledged that the legends surrounding the Warden were in fact not accurate, they did not do him justice, and that thought alone sent chills through every bone in the warrior's body. He noticed that Orpheus seemed to have an idea, and so he followed behind him, eager to end the conflict and claim the head of their attacker.

Gawain let loose a cry of pain as his elbow was snapped inwards and he let go of the blade in his hand instinctively and pulled his arm close to his body. He didn't want any more severe injuries, and if things kept going the way they were there was every chance of him dying on the battlefield. Not a bad way to go, but he had no plans on dying at that time. First thing was first though, he needed to get away from The Warden. With his other hand he let go of the hook and pushed with all his might, barely pushing himself back and away from The Warden as he fell onto the ground just in time for Cierra to go flying overhead like the sexiest wrecking ball you've ever seen and slam into The Warden.

Had Gexln listened carefully to what Beuce was saying, had he actually paid attention to him rather than letting his aggression do the talking, he probably would have agreed and Xepphiras' training would have gone much faster, but he did none of those things. In response to the flaming wall being put between himself and Beuce, Gexln revealed a slight smirk. If the girl thought that was going to stop him from attacking Beuce, she had another thing coming.

Opening his hand and pointing his palm in front of him, he opened a dark corridor and quickly stepped through it. Leaping out the other side, he was now on the other side of the wall and next to Beuce. "You want to learn? Then watch" he said simply as he rushed Beuce with a swing of the umbrella once more.

Sven's eyes opened wide in panic as he saw Cierra being flung at him. If she landed on his spikes, she would be killed and the dripping blood would leave himself permanently crippled if not killed also, and if he simply retracted the spikes she would slam into him and he would burn anyway. Acting quick, he threw himself to the ground and out of the way of Cierra. Sacrificing some more of his blood to retract the spikes now, he was beginning to feel a little light headed. If he wasn't careful, he would pass out soon and if that happened the chances of survival were slim at best. This Warden was proving to be everything that people said about him. The boy got up quickly, making sure to keep an eye on the Warden as he did so, and quickly began considering his options. At this stage, they were getting fewer and fewer.

Gawain groaned in pain as the hook was ripped out of his face. It took every bit of him to keep from thrashing, from trying to crush the undead that held him down, and taking down General Orpheus at the same time, but he held strong. Gawain Griffin's determination was equally as strong as his physical strength, thankfully. At Orpheus' comment, a grin appeared on Gawain's face; an unusual thing to see in those grim moments, but it wasn't one of happiness, it was one that may be seen on a madman of sorts, of someone that was about to make a gamble with their life. Still showing that grin, he picked up the hook that the undead had put onto the ground.

"If you want to bring him down, you're going to have to outsmart him. Surprise him, hit him with something he'll never see coming. At least, that's how it works for me" Gawain said. Without another word, he was gone, taking off back towards his foe. He wasn't in good physical condition by a long shot after the wound he just suffered and the whipping he had endured earlier, but if there was one thing that could be said about the swordsman it was that he was a fighter, he was always refusing to go down. Racing straight past Sven, he didn't even slow down to help him, and he leaped up into the air and shot his hand forward. In that hand was the hook that had been in his cheek only minutes before. "Looks like you dropped something, thought you'd want it back!" he shouted as he swung his sword in his right hand at The Warden and the hook in his left hand at The Warden, the blade aimed for the head and the hook for his stomach.

The keyblade went sailing right towards Gexln. As it was about to hit, he leaned to the side briefly to avoid it. He hadn't expected it to be so easy, surely keyblades had far better lock-on technolo-

    WHACK

Gexln fell forward and his face slammed into the ground. Hit from behind, he had failed to realize that Xepphiras was in possession of an authentic Australian keyblades, because those exist. Placing both his arms on the ground in front of him and lifting himself up, he couldn't help but glare. Not at Xepphiras, but at Beuce.

"You know, some things never change. You're still as stupid and as immature as you used to be, somebody's going to have to beat some sense into you" he said as he held out his left hand. In it materialized his keyblade, but in a different form. It was no longer Midnight's Venture, but was the black Umbrella keyblade. "You've had this coming a long time" he said as he took a few steps forward and swung his umbrella with extreme force at Beuce's torso.

After narrowly avoiding being burned beyond belief, Sven fell to the ground with a thud. Despite the zombie remains blocking Cierra off from him, he had still been knocked to the ground. "Thanks, Orpheus" he said to the necromancer. He stood up and looked at the bone armour that surrounded his left arm. Maybe if he used it properly, he could negate a lot of the force that the Warden had behind the swing of his club. Maybe. He was about to go forward and make his move when he heard Beuce's comment.

It took every ounce of his willpower to resist going to the side and attacking Beuce for what he said. He wanted to race over, to tear him apart limb from limb if he could, but that would only risk Cierra's life as well as everyone else's, leaving the Warden free reign to slaughter everybody nearby. "Hope he knows how to run, he's going to need it after this" he said quietly to himself. Taking off launching from his right foot, he dashed in the direction of the Warden and as he raced over he let himself fall over, sliding beneath The Warden. As he felt the blood vanishing from his system, he caused several round pillars of bone to project from his chest and slam into The Warden's armour underneath.

His blade knocked aside like it was nothing was something that Gawain had hoped The Warden wouldn't do, but had expected him to do. It was an intelligent move and the best one he could have made, but the question now was what was his next move? He reached a decision rather quickly, doing what was probably something that no warrior would expect. He lifted his blade and with one hand swung it directly at The Warden's club, hoping to keep it in place as he lashed out with his other hand curled up in a fist at The Warden's face with surprising speed.

Sven looked at Beuce suspiciously. Here he was offering a truce, which was a little odd considering he had just been hit by Sven. Either way he was right, they would need all the help they could get. Even with Orpheus fighting, it still probably wouldn't be enough. Like it or not, the best option was a truce, it appeared. But there was no shaking his hand. Sven wasn't stupid, he hadn't forgotten the burning from his hit earlier. "Fine, I'll fight alongside you. Get in my way though, and I'll take you down faster than you can blink an eye" he responded.

Turning his attention back to Cierra, he saw the chains wrapped around the Warden, but what he also saw was the club. It would be exceptionally dangerous to try and engage him at close range, but there really wasn't much of a choice. This may very well be the only opportunity he had to actually strike the Warden. Rushing forward, a bone extended from his arm, forming a protective cover in the shape of a blade as he swung his weapon at The Warden's feet.

Gawain stopped momentarily as he saw the agreement between Beuce and Sven. It was interesting, the way that the two that had just been in conflict now seemed to be allies. What was more interesting though was that Orpheus was going into battle himself. He knew that the general was very strong with his undead at his side, but without them rumour had it that he wasn't particularly threatening. Either way though, if he died that would make things very difficult for Lord Mordecai indeed, and could even lead to a turnaround. He would not allow that to happen, he would not allow Orpheus to die. Striding forward with wide steps, he then jumped up into the air and raised his blade above his head. Swinging it down with tremendous strength, he unleashed a vertical slash onto the Warden.

Glen gave a short nod to Pascal and Maximus. He wasn't going to make any promises to return Rapunzel, but he had every intention to try and get back at Vanitas. The dark powers he possessed made him an enormous threat though, and surely the wielders would need some kind of ridiculously good ability to get back at him. "Dark-boy's gonna die" he said rather grimly. He glanced quickly at Etrius. "Other dark boy, not you. Don't worry, no plans to kill you right now" he said with a short chuckle. Tossing his keyblade into the air and turning it into its glider form, he leaped up and landed on top of it and began following the others. I can't help get the feeling that we're forgetting something, but what? Oh well.. he thought as he glided.

Meanwhile, at the bottom of a dark cell..

Flynn Rider pulled at the chains that bound him to the wall by his hands. He strained against it, but to no avail; he could not get free. "But i'm telling you, I'm not Flynn Rider! I've seen the posters, his nose is much bigger than mine!" he yelled out desperately. There was no response to this, as the guards seemed to be ignoring him. Giving up hope, he slumped against the wall allowed himself to fall to the ground and sit down. "Guys...I can live without my satchel now. Just come back and get me out!" he called out. As he expected, there was no response, they seemed to have left him behind. "Guuuuuuuuuuuuys?!" he yelled out once again.

Not turning his head when he spoke to Sven, his response was one slightly different from one he would usually make. "Understood" was all he said. Normally he probably would have made some remark about his opponent not lasting long, or the fight being too easy for him to find any joy in it, but he had no doubts in his mind that The Warden would be tough. He had heard the stories, they all had, and the very thought of fighting such a man sent chills down his spine, but he would have to do it. After what he did to Cierra, he's going to have die. He's not going to leave this battle with enough of him to ever do anything like that again, Sven thought to himself as he took a step forward.

Turning his head slightly now, he opened his mouth to add something else. "Orpheus, I don't plan on dying here, but if I should, take care of Cierra" he said. The tone he spoke in suggested that it was not simply a request, but more of an order. As he said, he had no intentions of dying and planned to leave as a victor rather than a corpse, but he was not going to underestimate his opponent. The Warden was a legend or a nightmare, depending on the person hearing the tales, but one thing was sure; he was not to be taken lightly. With that in mind, he took another step forward and stood with his feet spread apart slightly, poised in such a way he could move freely and strike quickly, but he would not handle head on attacks very well should they hit.

Gawain said nothing. He knew that the Warden was right about the reason he had evaded him for so long. The first time they had battled, it had been the element of surprise that had saved him. The rest of the times, it was a combination of his strength and flexibility in his fighting style. There was no denying that he had not won any of the engagements though, not even the first. For all Gawain's strength and combat capability, The Warden was an opponent that very few would be able to be taken down by a single warrior.

Gawain was about to launch an all-out attack until he saw what Orpheus did. He was familiar with the concept, but he didn't approve of it. Sending one man against The Warden was suicide, even if it was somebody as skilled as Sven. As much as he wanted to respect the warrior's code and leave the two to duel, his morales prevented him from simply sitting there and watching somebody die. Even if you are as good as you claimed, even if you beat me senselessly with both fists and whip, I am not going to allow you to fight alone, Gawain thought to himself.

Hunter had to suppress a cocky smirk as he listened to Gwen's threat. He didn't think she'd carry it out, and so what if she did? She wasn't enough of a threat to actually hurt him. Nobody was. Although, on the other hand he probably didn't want to piss her off too badly. If he did, she'd just end up walking off and then he wouldn't be able to poke fun at her, and then what would he do? He could murder everything in sight, but murder's not as fun if there's nobody fun to gloat to later, or at least that was his train of thought.

"Fine, I promise I won't talk about your fat ass, your junk in the trunk, your whale blubber body, all the lard that is commonly called your left leg, or your pile of fat known as your head" he promised. He gave a short shrug seconds later. "Had to get it out of my system" he added. In truth he didn't think Gwen was fat in the slightest, if anything she was underweight, but she didn't need to know that. It was much more fun if she didn't. He continued walking behind her still, looking ahead further down the tunnel. But once again, he wasn't looking for the exit, but at Gwen's rear.

Choosing not to say anything about Orpheus' comment about Cierra being 'his property' due to not wanting to cause issues with the general of the army, Sven was still glaring at The Warden. He was the one that had caused the pain to Cierra, he was the reason she was so terrified right before him. Humanity was hated by Sven, but lustors he was fine with, especially Cierra. Cierra and Orpheus were the only people he thought of as friends, and he wasn't going to let either of them get captured or killed by the behemoth before them. "Cierra, just stay back away from him. I won't let him hurt you. If he tries to hook you again, I'm going to pull him over and shove the hook fair up his ass" he said, his words seeming as though they were sarcastic but his tone sounding as though it was incredibly, deadly serious.

Reasonably confident that his words would comfort Cierra, Sven then stepped away from her. Much as he wanted to make sure she was okay, he had to prioritize. And if The Warden got anywhere near her, he knew for sure she would certainly not be okay. Stepping next to Orpheus, he gave him a brief nod to show him he intended on standing by him in this battle. Staring right ahead at the Warden, his face was one of both anger and confidence, ready to fight.

Had Gawain not expected the attack, he would have most certainly be knocked to the ground, and possibly out cold. Thankfully though, this was not the first time he had encountered the Warden. From experience, he also knew that the Warden loved showcasing his strength in battle. Were it any other person, they probably wouldn't be able to match him, but Gawain Griffin was no ordinary soldier. He was a lustor soldier, and one that specialized in strength, so he was completely certain he could match his strength if it came down to it. Leaning to the side and ducking a little, the soldier avoided the punch and then hopped back to gain his distance. He unsheathed his sword and pointed it at Xerxes. "Top priority or not, you're going to have to get through me if you want to get to any of them. They may despise me and look down on me, but the feelings for the most part are not mutual. They're my family, and I'm not going to let you kill anybody. Now, are you going to give up and put down those nasty little hooks, or do I have to cut off your arms so you can't pick them up anymore?" he taunted once more.

His fist clenched in anger over Vanitas fleeing, Glen simply stood there silently. Vanitas didn't even leave because they were threats, or because they would even slow him down, he left because they weren't worth his time. They weren't threatening enough to be worthwhile fighting. Was this the power of darkness? How could he possibly compete with that kind of strength?

He snapped back to reality as Kaida began talking directly to them. So she was from the Order too, just like Blaze was. His mind, once again, went back to thinking about his past. His suffering, his loss, and his will to change that. "If you're from the Order, then you're from the future too. I'll go with you, but on one condition. Once this is all over, once we've helped you, you don't take me wherever I want to go. You take me whenever I want to go. You take me back into the past. Deal?" he asked, extending his hand in a completely serious offer.

Gexln began laughing out loud quite a lot at the sight of Beuce being knocked into a wall from the force of the dark firaga. Once he saw Beuce's finger appear and heard the muffled words coming from his mouth, Gexln opened his mouth to speak. "Keep poking that finger at me and I'm going to have to break it, Beuce" he threatened. He decided not to proceed any further than that though, and so he came to the decision to try to further teach Xepphiras something else. He had to resist the urge to ask her to shoot another dark firaga at Beuce, for as tempting as it was it would probably cause problems. "So, aside from fire, have you ever used any other dark kinds of magic?" he asked, trying to get a feel for what Xepphiras knew and what she didn't.

Glen was still unconscious, his mind playing through the events that happened to him shortly before he left his homeworld. He remembered his father's death, he remembered his grieving over it, he remembered attempting to fight the heartless, and he remembered the slimy tongue in his ear.

    ...wait a minute.

There had been no tongue in his ear! With a start, Glen opened his eyes and had a hunch of what was happening. Either Vanitas had some very strange interests indeed, or that lizard was trying to lick his brain again. Opening his eyes, Glen lashed out with his right hand, and swatted Pascal away from him. The small creature went flying into the wall nearby, but Glen had successfully gotten him away from himself. Getting up rather slowly, his body ached all over, but upon seeing what was going on, his pride hurt far more than anything. While they had all been obliterated by Vanitas, here was a simple horse fending off Vanitas. Four keyblade wielders had failed to so much as scratch him, but now they were being saved by a horse?

Doing his best to move on from that, the keyblade wielder quietly summoned his keyblade. He was ready to go in to attack Vanitas, to go for round 2, but despite everything people seemed to think, he wasn't stupid. He knew he wouldn't win. Turning his attention to his fallen comrades, he pointed his keyblade at Kaida first and quietly said "heal". The magic flowed from the end of his keyblade to the body of Kaida, the person he had decided to cast cure on. As soon as the magic vanished and had been completed, Glen raced over and began shaking Kaida. "Kaida, get up! We're being saved! By a horse! We can't lay down and let this embarrassment take place, we'll never hear the end of it!" he said, trying to wake her up now.

Hunter sat still for a minute. He had not only just had his ego insulted, but his manhood and to some extent, his reputation. With a short sigh, he unsheathed his blade and entered the tunnel simultaneously. With long strides, he found himself nearby her. He didn't mind Gwen usually, but their somewhat friendly rivalry would only get her so far. He brought the blade in front of Gwen and held it up to her neck. "Listen 'ere Ginger. You may think you're runnin' this place, leadin' and all, but don't you think fer a second that that's 'cause i'm your friend. You might be good with that bow of yours, but it ain't gonna save ya when we're close like this, and I ain't gonna hesitate to cut your throat and let ya bleed out like one of them lustor pricks, aight?" Hunter said, his voice lowering in tone and sounding somewhat serious. He then removed the blade from in front of Gwen's neck, keeping it at his side but being aware of Gwen's movements all the same. He would not allow himself to get caught off guard by the girl. With that being done he allowed himself to fall back into line behind the archer and continued following her.

Sven took another step towards Beuce. He tried his best to look perfectly calm, almost as though it didn't bother him at all, which was the exact opposite from the truth. "Sex slave? I would never do such a thing, maybe we can come to some agreement and sort this out before it comes to any sort of bloodshed. I mean, we're all friends here aren't we?" he asked, attempting to distract Beuce as he took a few steps towards him. "Although, now that I think about it, we should probably get one thing out of the way. One thing before everything is water under the bridge, no?" he said, still wandering towards Beuce. With a swift movement, he lunged forward and landed a punch to the jaw, turning Beuce's head slightly with the force of the impact but not knocking him onto the ground.

His hand began burning the second he made contact, almost as though it were on fire. Was this the lustor's power? He took a step back and glared at Beuce. "Cierra. Is not. A slave of any kind" he stated. He would have continued, but his attention was dragged away to another person. This person was a behemoth, towering over everybody else around, and he had a club to match. One thing that also stood out was the fact he had chains around him. As though he were some kind of jailor. It could only be one person.

    "The Warden.."

Gawain practically felt the presence of the Warden as he arrived. He heard movement cease around him, heard the breathing rates slow a little bit, almost like people were trying to hide their own presence. He knew the feeling, and he had an idea what had caused it. Standing up, his back stinging from where the whips had made their mark, and turned around. Sure enough, he saw The Warden. He wasn't in the best condition to fight, but he had escaped The Warden many times and he intended on doing so again. The stories he heard about what happened to his prisoners were truly terrifying, almost to the point he would much prefer death over being captured. "Well, if isn't mr big and scary himself. Back for round six are you?" he taunted, confident as usual and also trying to draw his attention away from any soldier who may have a burst of bravery and try to stop him.

Hunter was still following Gwen as she made the remark about him being an idiot. He pretended he didn't hear the remark, not responding in any way whatsoever as he continued walking. Upon Gwen attempting to use reverse psychology, he realized it immediately that she was trying to trick him. Now that he knew that it irritated her to some degree, there was even more reason to do it. "I can kill people and keep watch, I'm very good at multitaski-" he started, before tripping over a small tile sticking up a little in the ground with a loud thump.

He sat up quickly and looked at Gwen. "VERY GOOD AT MULTITASKING" he called out, insisting he was still good at it despite his fall proving otherwise. "That wasn't me being bad at it, it was your fat ass blocking my view of the ground, it made me trip! I take back what I said, you need to lose some weight!" he insulted, attempting to avoid all harm to his ego. After a few moments of protesting, he came to a realization. "Hey Ginger, I found the tile!" he exclaimed.

Finished the whipping, Sven dropped the whip on the ground. He turned around and began walking back towards Orpheus. He had barely taken a step, when he suddenly saw a chain appear in Orpheus' hand. The chains were glowing as though they were very hot, as though somebody had heated them. Spinning on his heel, sure enough he saw Cierra there being led by Beuce. At this sight alone, his fury within began bubbling, but it wasn't until Beuce spoke that the anger really surfaced.

He took a step towards Beuce. "Drop the chains, that's no prisoner you're holding there, that's my friend" he commanded. Taking a few more steps towards Beuce, he was now striding towards him at a reasonably quick pace. "Either you're a pitiful scumlike lustor, or you're one of them. Which is it?" he questioned, although the tone he spoke in indicated that regardless, the answer didn't matter to him. No matter what the answer was, Sven already knew what his next move was.
