    Bloodlust

Sven had dismounted from the horse and was about to go and stop Feo from assaulting the soldiers, but he was soon stopped by Orpheus' actions. While Sven despised the humans to the point he wanted them wiped from the face of the planet without mercy, he had no issues with lustors, and while he wasn't particularly against murdering them, the very idea of killing someone just out of boredom, or because they were deemed was weak disgusted him. Had it been anyone but Orpheus, he would have thrown himself at them and possibly attempted murder himself, but he held himself back.

"Orpheus, there are thousands of zombies here, I don't think we need any more of them. Killing humans is one thing, but we shouldn't be killing our own kind" he seethed, making himself just loud enough that Orpheus would probably hear him. He didn't want to continue that conversation, knowing full well it would probably end in conflict, and he respected Orpheus just enough that he would rather avoid that, even in his state of anger. Instead, he stepped over to Cierra. "What you said as we were riding here, about me not knowing things..tell me. Make me know. There should be no secrets kept between us" he said, making it sound almost like a request rather than a command.

Hunter tossed another dagger over the wall, loving the sound it made as it came down again and hit another undead on the other side. "I don't know, if you can shoot enough arrows into one of the things, that one will be too weighed down to do anything, doesn't sound that useless to me. What's the matter, scared you're not going to be able to hit them the same way I can, Ginger?" he taunted. He didn't particularly like people, but Gwen wasn't as annoying as the other people, and they had almost a friendly rivalry going. If she ever annoyed him too much that rivalry wouldn't change his opinion about murdering people enough to spare her, but it was good to have fun once in a while.

As Feo appeared and made his offer, Hunter tossed the remaining dagger over the wall. Up it went, only to descend out of the air and hit the undead with a sickening thunk sound, indicating another hit. He glanced in Gwen's direction to see what her opinion was. It didn't particularly matter either way, he was determined to fight, but curiosity killed the cat and he didn't wanna be next. "Geez, and we thought the commander was up himself" he said bluntly. Focusing his attention on Feo now, he lowered his blade so that it was held in a more easy-to-use position. "Alright Scrawny, you're gonna regret callin' us that, cause if anyone's gonna be squealin' like a piglet, it's gonna be you!" he said as he stepped forward and made a wide swing with his sword.

Hunter fought off every urge in his body, every urge to stand up and try to strangle the commander. He was not one to enjoy taking orders, and he rarely followed them, but with a herculean effort he fought off the urges and repressed them deep down. After all, despite the Chieftain technically requesting it, defying him would probably end up with Hunter himself dead, which he didn't like the sound of. Instead, he grumbled a little bit and wandered over to a small pile of daggers. Why they were there he would never know, but conveniently enough there they were. The man grabbed three of them and walked over to one of the walls. It was high enough that there was very little chance anything could get over, but low enough that projectiles could probably still make it over.

He could faintly hear the sounds of grumbling and shuffling, like there were some things on the other side moving around. His attitude got a little brighter, and a sickening smile crossed his face; the smile of a murderer. "Oi, Ginger! Guess what I found! There's something on the other side of the wall. Given what old up-himself said earlier, i'm guessing there's a zombie on the other side of this wall. Either that, or some guy's about to get a pretty painful 'hello'!" he called out. Readying his arm, he tossed a dagger up into the air. Up into the sky it flew, getting higher and higher until it barely went over the wall, and came down with a loud thunk sound. A few more growls could be heard from the other side, but no sound of a body hitting the ground. "Yup, zombies it is" he said.

    Spirox War

As Damion explained things, Darius was listening. While it was true he was very savage and acted very much like an animal, he wasn't stupid. He knew his brother was smarter than he was, and he knew they would need some kind of plan for re-capturing the human, so he paid very close attention. Once he had finished, Darius began to speak. "Once we have captured both, then we feast, yes? I like this plan, brother. I like it very much" The Left Hand said. He knew where the human district was, it was a place he had visited several times before, an easy source of food once you got past the guards. He began walking off in the direction of it, pausing every so often to make sure his brother was following.

Caleb simply looked at Oerva as she voiced her concern. "It's not going to kill us. If it comes near us, i'll stop it. You'll be safe, Oerva" he said encouragingly. Stepping over next to where Valinton had been standing before he'd departed, Caleb pointed in the direction of the black market. "That guy's running ahead like he owns us, but I think he's going to get us killed. I trust him about as far as I could throw him. I know this place inside and out, I'll get us there" he said, now taking off in the direction of the black market.

Stephen sighed as Caleb took off. Clearly he hadn't listened to Valinton. Despite Caleb not trusting Valinton, the draconic mutant was right; splitting up would significantly lower their chances of survival. However, it appeared there wasn't much of a choice. The pain of being a strategist sometimes was knowing that what you were about to do was a horrible decision, even if it was necessary. Stephen silently followed Caleb, running behind him and constantly trying to pick up any presence that may come near, which was exceptionally difficult with all the screaming people running by.

Before long, they reached the black market, or at least the entrance to it. The telepath held up a hand as Caleb prepared to go inside. He was only a few meters away from the entrance, so he probably thought nothing could go wrong, but Stephen knew better. He didn't know exactly where the person was, but he knew that he was being watched, by somebody close by. "Caleb, stop for a moment. It appears we are not alone" he stated simply, raising his voice a little to indicate to the observer that he knew.

Sven stopped briefly as Cierra spoke. He hadn't expected her to tell him he was wrong, but that wasn't why he stopped. She spoke of fear, of the humans and them becoming stronger as they were afraid. The fact that she made it seem almost like she was complimenting them irritated him to no end, but it was something more than that. As she spoke of the humans acting out in fear, an image flashed before his eyes. It was an image of his brother, being kicked to the ground and beaten to death before his very eyes. Though many years had passed since that day, not an ounce of rage and sorrow had left his heart. Despite all his aggression and generally calm demeanour, he still felt immense pain over that day.

With a quick turn he looked straight at Cierra. "Don't you dare praise them in front of me! The more they rise up, the more they gather, the more of them will die! You know nothing of what they're like when they are afraid, what they're capable of. They'll find whatever it is you treasure, they'll work to obtain it, and then they'll rip it away from you.." he said, turning back away from her once more, "right in front of your eyes.." he said, a hint of sadness in his voice. He hurried to the courtyard after Orpheus and he, too, mounted a horse. As he spurred it into action and the rider and horse began leaving the area, the boy had only one thought running through his mind; no matter what, the humans would be driven to extinction. Every. Last. One of them.

Hunter was still dragging the body along as he passed through the gates to the human district. The guards' faces were priceless; as though they had not expected him to return alive, let alone with a dead lustor in tow. The sound of dragging could be heard while Hunter pulled the lustor along, and he continued pulling it until he reached the bar, a place he knew the HFHQ liked to hang out in. He had joined it some time ago. He figured the people in it could inform him of lustor movement, and that gave him a rough idea where to go for his next kill, but he really felt no allegiance to them at all.

As he approached Gwen, he stopped and dropped the body to the ground with a light thump and breathed a sigh of relief. Dragging it such a long way, even if the lustor wasn't that heavy, had taken it out of him. After all, he was only human. He glanced momentarily at Gwen, who he saw was dipping her arrows in some kind of liquid. Could it be poison? Or was she dipping them in alcohol, trying to intoxicate her enemies to the point they fell over wasted? He mentally shrugged off the last thought. Only a complete idiot would think of that. He stopped momentarily. He had thought of that. That made him feel somewhat less intelligent. "Hey, Ginger, caught myself a lustor out there. That's my third today, how many you at?" he asked, taking any opportunity to inflate his ego. It was then that he gestured towards Kai. He had known he was there before, he just didn't particularly care for other people at all. "Who's the Fresh Meat over there? Looks like he could be good lustor bait" Hunter said, half joking.

Well, different modems and internet connections have differing speeds, so chances are it's more the fault of that, although it may be influenced by your computer's processing speed itself. Again, speaking from experience and not specific research.

Happens with my internet sometimes when i'm using a simple website to convert a filetype on occassion. Fairly sure it's too much data being transferred at one time, overloading and such. If you can compress the filesize that MAY help with it, but no guarantees. Will do some research for you though.

If the keep the secret bases I'll be beyond thrilled. Apparently you can pre-order it, and I plan on doing it. Some places the price is listed as $9,999 though. One expensive game right? It'll probably get a reasonable price when it gets closer though.

Love this game. Tried it, spent hours playing it, I think I might be addicted. If it wasn't for you my addiction wouldn't be here, I want to say curse you but thank you! I enjoy playing as Sonic a lot. Probably too much.
