Yes, it suits you.
Juliet stood silently as people began parting ways, making no sound except for a silent gasp of shock as R revealed his true name to everyone, before returning to his true form once more. Surprisingly, part of the girl was sad to see him go. She had never really talked to R, and she didn't know him particularly well, but there was no doubt it was because of him that they had been able to defeat The Agents. Against all odds, R had succeeded in doing something that nobody else had ever done; he had truly united the forces of light and darkness. It was he who had brought the group together in a time when they couldn't be further apart, it was he who had discovered the method of defeating them, and it was he who had spearheaded the attack against The Agents in an effort to save everything they knew. Juliet herself didn't know many people there, and she hadn't had much interaction with most of them at all, but she still couldn't help but dislike the fact that they were all parting ways. They had banded together and fought alongside each other, they had relied on one another, and now it was time they left. "Thank you, Riel" the girl said quietly, looking up at the star that had just appeared in the sky. Still lost in thought, her attention was brought back as she felt a short tap on her shoulder. Caleb, too, had not said a word as everyone said goodbye and left. It wasn't his place to. While he knew every person there to an extent, the boy had never really viewed any of them as friends, with the exception of Satsujin. However, even then he doubted Satsujin was the kind of person to give a long speech about the importance of friendship before leaving, and it was an even smaller chance that he liked saying goodbye in the slightest, and neither did Caleb, so he remained in place, simply thinking. There were times he was ready to throw in the towel, and yet he hadn't. He had pushed on, using those close to him as motivation. There was no way of telling how things would have ended up had he not attempted to stop R that day, and he didn't want to think about it, either. Despite everything, Caleb was going to miss Riel, and his parting words got Caleb thinking. R didn't think he deserved to be in the new era that they had brought about because of his past actions, but surely saving the world was more than enough of a repayment, wasn't it? He thought next of Xindai, unfortunately. The man had been truly evil and cruel in every sense of the word, but he had done the world a great service; he had united them all. However, despite things turning out for the better, there was no doubt in his mind that he hadn't intended them to be like that. Had things been different, they probably wouldn't be standing there, let alone being able to celebrate or be happy. There would more than likely be others like Xindai, others that would wish ill for the world, and Caleb would be there. The others could be happy and forget it all they liked, but not Caleb Stitem, he would take on the role of protector. He turned around and faced Juliet, before tapping her on the shoulder to get her attention. "Hmmm? What do you want?" "You know how to make a dark corridor, right?" "I guess so, why?" "Make one now, and seal me inside" Juliet was shocked. She hadn't expected that kind of request from anyone, let alone from Caleb. What was she supposed to say to that? "...why?" "There are going to be people that try to screw over this peace we fought for, and I'm going to be there to stop them" The two continued this conversation for many minutes, with Caleb constantly asking and Juliet constantly refusing, sometimes one would raise their voice only to have the other one calmly respond, but eventually they did reach a conclusion. It was decided that Juliet would make the corridor for Caleb, and seal him inside on the off chance anyone ever did something to threaten all that they had struggled to achieve, but he wouldn't be alone. Juliet would go in with him. They decided that she had to go with him, since he couldn't let himself out, and she would check once a year to see how things were outside of the realm of darkness, and make a decision on whether or not it was time for them to leave. There they would remain, until such time as they were needed, forever protectors of the realm of light.

"Good thinking Glen" Glen nearly jumped out of his skin at that simple statement. He hadn't realized anybody was there, and certainly hadn't expected to have someone be standing so close to him. He started losing his balance and his arms began flailing in an attempt to grab onto something. However, Beuce had seemingly gotten out of the way, and he found nothing to get a hold of to prevent himself from falling. In the next few moments that followed, all stealthiness and attempts to be undetected went out the window. Glen himself made no noise, no exclamation of any kind due to him still wanting to be careful, but as he lost his balance completely, he fell backwards and down the stairs, making a solid thump on each stair he made, followed by a louder one right at the bottom. He sat up slowly after the impact, rubbing his head for a little bit. "Ow..." he whispered, shooting a glare at Beuce. It was neither the place nor time to go and tell him off though, if there was somebody with ill intent for them in that house, they would have undoubtedly heard his crash. He decided to try and get people out, but just as he had started moving, he heard a few thumps, like someone was hitting something hollow. It was odd, and he certainly couldn't imagine any of the others making the noise. He began trying to find the source of it, and soon found himself next to Base once more as a trapdoor was opened, revealing the attic. For a second, Glen did not want to go up and into the attic. It was dark, there was probably some kind of dangerous person up there, and once he was in the attic there was no escape, but then he reminded himself of how he had fallen down the staircase. Chances were, if there really was someone dangerous up there, the reason they knew someone was in the house was because of him, so it was sort of his responsibility. Nervously, he pulled down the staircase and turned to look at Base. "Think that book's up here?" he asked, but didn't wait for an answer. He ascended the staircase and went up into the attic. It was exactly as he had expected it to look, a plain attic with many things scattered around in it. Everything was covered in dust, and the air smelt really musty, he didn't like it. Climbing up completely into the attic now, he heard a slight creak as his foot left the staircase, relieving it of all pressure and causing it to snap closed behind him. It made him feel uneasy, but he had to keep going. Taking a step forward, his foot caught on an object on the ground, and he fell forward with a loud thump as he hit the floor again and let out a short exclamation of surprise.

Gexln watched Xero's body in awe as the healing took place. He hadn't even thought of what the power of kingdom hearts could actually do, but now that he saw it..it was really impressive. As the energy went into Xero, he felt it enter his own body too, healing all his wounds. He hadn't had any severe injuries sustained in the fight against The Agents, but the scar he had kept since the battle against Xindai was gone. He almost missed that scar, it was a constant reminder of how much Xero meant to him, but he could live without it. The vanishing of the scar was completely gone from his mind a few seconds after he had been completely healed, as his feet began propelling him over to Xero's side. He practically slid over to her from the sheer speed the Nobody was running at, now kneeling next to her body. He lifted her up gently, unsure of exactly how well the recovery had worked on her. "Come on Xero, wake up" he said, his voice as gentle as he could make it. He simply held her there for a moment, making sure she was alright, before he finally saw her breathing start to pick up, which brought a smile to the male's face. Without even thinking, he pulled her close to her and embraced her in a hug, thankful she was okay. "Never do that again. You scared the hell out of me, the thought of continuing on without you..it's one that frightens me to death. I'd rather fight a thousand Agents than go through that again" he said simply, his voice practically a whisper due to the amount of emotion inside of him at that moment. After waiting just a moment, enjoying the moment of true and utter peace they had worked so hard for, Gexln slowly let go of Xero and stood up, holding out his hand and helping her stand up. He then stepped a little closer to the others and stopped in front of Kross, Ananta and Anta. "Ananta, Kross, you two are just as frustrating as you used to be. There have been times I've wanted to outright murder you for the smallest of things. That being said, thanks for helping out" he said simply, not really knowing Anta so having nothing to say to him. He then walked over to the horde of Beuces. "This world is going to be infuriating with all of you guys here. One Beuce is enough of a pain in my ass as it is, let alone as many as there are" he said, a slight laugh at the end of that statement, before reaching out and playfully hitting the LVD Beuce on the arm. "If I had to pick one smartass to help save the world, it would have been you without a doubt. Looks like you've got half a brain after all, who knew?" he asked, half joking around with him. It was then that he decided to address Kel. Kel, one of the few people he had thought of as a friend in the times of SOS. "Didn't think I'd forget you, did you? You were one of the few tolerable people in SOS, helping me out back then, and here you are again. Thanks, Kel" he said, totally not forgetting to include Kel in this post. Walking over to Caleb and Juliet, he decided he needed to say something to them. "Caleb, I'm not ever going to forgive you for killing Kaxar, and don't think for a moment that we're even close to being friends, but thank you. You might be an *******, but at least you're a useful one" he said. Looking at Juliet, he opened his mouth to speak once more. God this was taking forever. "I'm sorry I couldn't be a good father for you, and I'm sorry for all the bad things that have happened because of me. You're not some little girl that needs her father anymore though, you're strong enough to make your own decisions. The fight with Chaos proved that you're plenty strong enough to take care of yourself" he said. He turned and stopped in front of R and Sapphire. "Sapphire, you might be horrible when it comes to fighting, but you're going to make this peace we fought for a much better place. R knows it, I believe it, and pretty sure everyone else can see it too, so quit doubting yourself so much. You're going to have the strongest power to ever exist in a few moments, wouldn't want you to accidentally destroy yourself with your insecurities would we?" he teased. Finally, his gaze met R's. "So, you're going to give her this power, then leave? Just like that? Geez, things are going to be different without you. Who would've thought that one of the guys I tried to murder would end up becoming one of my best friends? We've been through a hell of a lot, all of us, and if it wasn't for you we would've fallen apart. I'm gonna miss ya, but take care. I promise not to pee on you when you're a planet again" he said, making a joke deliberately at the end of that. As Gexln turned to walk away, he realized he had something to say to Xero. Walking over to her, he stopped in front of her. "I can't even tell you how important to me you've become, Xero. If it weren't for you, I would've just lost it a long time ago, I probably wouldn't have been able to pull through against Chaos back there. You're a big reason that all this was possible, and I hope you know that. Look, i'm terrible with my words..really, I am" Gexln said, blushing the tiniest bit. He opened a dark corridor in front of them. "I'm a Nobody of the Dark, and that comes with some serious issues. I'm a murderer, an outright *******, and all round not an amazing guy, but I promise you I can change. I've got no idea what the future holds, all I know is that I'd be thrilled beyond belief if you were in it" he said, stepping through the dark corridor. Where it lead to, nobody else knew, but one thing that could be noted about him was that he left that group that had become important to him with a smile on his face. Spoiler: Epilogue Spoiler: The Last Goodbye Glen was sitting on a snow-covered rock, next to his friend Kara. They had both been sitting there for several minutes now, in complete silence, simply enjoying each others' company. For Kara, she was enjoying it because of the fact it was Glen, someone whom she had become very, very close to. For Glen, it was both because of the fact it was with Kara, and also because it was the last opportunity he would get to spend time with her. It was he who decided to break the silence first. Turning to look at her, he found a lump in his throat that prevented words from escaping. He had rehearsed this particular conversation countless times, had considered just about every response she could prepare for him, and had not struggled with it at any point. However, now that the time had actually come to go through with it, the words simply were not coming. "Kara, I've been thinking a lot lately" Glen spoke, finally finding the ability to speak once more. "Well, that's a first" the girl responded, her mouth curving into a bright, warm smile that made the cold winds not noticeable. How was he supposed to continue, knowing full well that smile wouldn't last? He had promised himself not to upset her, not to hurt her, but if he kept going...well, there was no doubt at all that Kara wouldn't take it well. "Seriously though..do you remember the day I moved to this village?" he asked, doing his best to keep the conversation flowing. His friend nodded, not sure where Glen was going with that conversation. "You asked me where I'd come from. You were the only one then, you know. Nobody else even tried to get to know me. To them, I was just this new guy, no point talking to him. But not you, you were willing to give me a chance. Despite that, I couldn't tell you. I couldn't answer your questions, and I had to keep secrets from you" the male spoke. "See, I was once part of a group of people. A group of friends, in a way. This world and all the others out there, they're all plagued with darkness. It's always trying to break everyone down, and strike people when they're at their most vulnerable. To take their hearts, and leave them nothing but an empty shell" he continued. The response he heard was a short gasp from Kara, but he had to keep going. "I fought against it. Day after day, night after night, I had to keep going. To keep fighting it back. I could go on for months about the adventures we had, the things I did, but I won't. The whole time, I was a fairly happy person. But as time went on, I started feeling more and more unsure about myself. Doubting myself each passing day. I put it down to pure depression, and I suppose it was. Thing is...my heart wasn't just suffering from depression. Whether or not I realized it at the time, I'd opened my heart to darkness, and it seeped inside and made it its home" Glen said, now hanging his head in shame. "When I got back, I tried for a fresh start. I moved to a new town, to this one, expecting nobody to give a crap, planning to give up completely. And then you came. You, with your forgiving eyes and beautiful nature. You were the most beautiful girl I've ever laid eyes on, you still are, and thanks to you I found the strength to fight back. I can't do it alone though, I never could. It kept growing stronger and stronger. Even now, I can hear it in the back of my mind, telling me to give up. That I can't win. That the longer I fight it, the worse it will be for me when I eventually lose. And the thing that scares me, is it's right. I can't beat it, I can't stop it, and I..I don't know how long I can hold it off anymore" came the man's voice, full of both shame and sorrow. What came next was a shock. His left hand was suddenly very warm. He felt the familiar clasp of Kara's hand, holding onto his tightly and squeezing, comforting him. For a brief moment, everything he had just said was forgotten. For a brief moment, he was ready to turn back and head back to The Village with Kara and put it all behind him. Then that moment was over, and fear set in once more. Letting go of her hand, he stood up and took a step back away from her. "If you'd seen what I've seen, you wouldn't be near me. I have seen darkness take people completely. The kindest person can turn into a monstrous nightmare. The kind of thing the other villagers fear. When it takes me, I won't be able to control myself. Everyone around me will be in danger. Everyone. I..I won't put you in that kind of danger, Kara! I'm not going to let someone else die because of me, not someone I care about! Tomorrow night, tomorrow evening I'm going to leave. I'll take my things and go somewhere else, where I'll let it take me completely. Please understand, I can't take you with me. I have to go alone" he said. Once again, he felt Kara's hand grab his. "Glen, look at me" she ordered. Relucantly, he did. He saw it in her eyes; she didn't understand. Kara was beautiful, she was intelligent, and she could get along with just about anyone, but one thing she could never do was understand the darkness. Nobody could, not unless they went through the same things he had been through. "If you're going to leave because you.." she continued, tears welling up in her eyes, "because you don't care about me anymore, I-" she started. Glen was the first to break, tears silently flowing down his cheek as he raised his right hand and rested it gently on Kara's cheek, wiping away the tears that were now flowing. "Kara, you know I care about you. I always have, I always will. From now until the day I die, there won't be a day that you won't be in my heart" Glen said, reassuring her. As if to feel that his words were true, Kara placed her hand against his chest. "But this isn't about me caring or not. It's about you surviving. I want you to live a long and happy life. Me leaving might hurt you, it might make you struggle to see how happiness can exist in the world, but you'll overcome it eventually. You'll find somebody else, someone better than me. I'm sorry Kara, but this is best for both of us" Glen stated, his voice cracking a little bit under the sheer emotional pressure he was in. Pushing away from the one person he trusted more than anything, he turned and began walking towards the village. "Glen! Glen don't leave! We can beat it together! I'm not going to find anybody else, because I don't want to! I'll come after you, Glen. I'll help you beat the darkness and I won't stop until we do! I'm not going to abandon you!" Kara called. Each word reached Glen and only made each step harder and harder to take, but he did not stop. He couldn't stop, not if he truly cared. The next day, he planned to leave as he had told Kara. He planned to, but he never got the opportunity, because at around 3am the next day, is the day that Glen finally lost his battle with darkness, and he, Kara, and the entire village suffered because of it. Five years after the defeat of Chaos and Omega... Gexln stood there for a moment, not bothering to wipe away the tear that had decided to show itself on the Nobody of the Dark's face. He was standing at the grave of Kaxar, and had been there for about an hour. He had come there every year on the same day for the last five years. There was something he had to do. He had said goodbye to Kara on that day, but he had never truly moved on as he had said he would. Looking down at his left hand, he saw and felt the familiar handle of Darkness' Sorrow, the first weapon he had ever wielded as a Nobody. It had served him well, and it was as much a part of him as Kaxar had been. Which is why it had to stay there. Lifting it up, he turned it so that the blade was pointing down towards the ground, and stabbed it deep into the ground, so that it was simply sticking up. He then switched his gaze to his right hand. In it was the trinket Kara had made him, long, long ago. It was very special to him, and he wanted it to remain with the one that had been equally, if not more, special to him. Hanging it very carefully, loosely over the handle of Darkness' Sorrow, he took a step back and looked at the scene before him. With Xero by his side, and his son, Lucifer now growing up, he was finally ready to move on. To let go of his past, and focus on his future. Of course, he would take care of Juliet too, as any father would, but he would have to make more of an effort to be a better father to Lucifer, to ensure he had the upbringing that he deserved, and that Juliet had never had the opportunity to have. Turning away, Gexln began walking away from the grave. He was leaving behind everything about the past Gexln, about Glen, and moving on. He had well and truly kept his promise that he had made to Kara. Glen had remembered Kara every day, never forgetting her and always caring about her, but now Glen was dead; the true Nobody of the Dark had awoken. Darkness' Sorrow would stay there for some time. Never moving, waiting as though it was waiting for the day that its wielder would once again need it. If, for some reason, someone were to look at the site, they would see four things there. They would see the grave of a truly remarkable woman, the present she had given her lost hero, the blade the hero had used to save the worlds with, and lastly, a soft, warm, green scarf that flowed in the breeze, the final touch that truly confirmed that all of the hero's memories had been left exactly where they belonged; in the past.
Tale, if you want me to remove the Aden x D'daer thing from my post just lemme know, I don't wanna cause any problems lol
Glen arrived on the other side of the mirror, inside Mickey's house, just in time to see Base and Ananta heading towards the staircase. He wasn't too fussed about it until he saw the candle lit. That candle was a bad idea, he could feel it. Moving quickly yet silently, the keyblade wielder crept over behind the two and followed them up the staircase. As they got near the door, he chose then to make his move. Leaning forward and outstretching his hand, he quickly snuffed out the flame. "Ananta, we just dove through a mirror looking for somebody that turned one of the most powerful wizards into stone. Keep quiet, and don't do anything to let people know we're here, like lighting up a god damn flame to tell them 'hello yes we're over here!' " Glen hissed, being sensible for once. Just as he finished his words, Base slammed the door open. His mouth open out of shock and complete disbelief, Glen slowly shook his head. "...just...I....but....why?" he asked rhetorically, unable to comprehend how he had gotten into that situation. Thankfully it was only Aden and D'daear having some fun underneath the bedsheets, but still..it could have been something far worse. OOC: This post acknowledges that ****. Aden x D'daear otp
Juliet could only stand there in shock as Ananta handed Anta over to her to keep safe. Part of her was radiating an aura of darkness, the other part was glowing with the power of light, she didn't think she looked like a babysitter. She watched as Ananta went in to attack Chaos next. The girl couldn't help but admire Ananta's determination. Despite everything, she was trying to fight, and she was trusting her to protect her child, like some kind of magnificent...babysitter. A god damn babysitter. Setting Anta on the ground, Juliet took off towards Chaos. She passed by Ananta on the way as she ran, calling out "Sorry, saving the world beats babysitter duty anyday!" as she did so. The girl hurried onwards to help her father. Gexln had just engaged Chaos in battle. After the blizzaja had worn off, the swordsman had gone even faster towards Chaos, practically blinking towards him. He began his attack the moment he got nearby Chaos, dashing around him and periodically attacking him with his claws. Every so often his strike got through, but most were prevented by The Agent's defensive capabilities. He was relentless though, and he could feel his strikes having an impact. He was still striking, still circling Chaos, when his opponent retaliated. Chaos pulled both arms to his sides for a moment as Kross dashed in. Not expecting the attack, Kross' weapon stabbed straight into the Agent's leg, preventing him from moving. Normally Gexln would have made some kind of comment on that, but he was in a far more serious mood than he usually was, he was in a state of grief-driven madness, and his aggression showed. Chaos took advantage of this moment, and swiftly released a pillar of fire from beneath himself as Gexln lunged forward for another attack. The pillar of flame knocked Kross' weapon out and sent both Kross and Gexln spiralling away from the god before them. Gexln was quick with his reactions though, much faster than Chaos had anticipated. As the pillar of flame hit him, the Nobody of Darkness used gravity magic on himself, forcing him back onto the ground and onto his feet immediately. Rushing at Chaos once more, he stepped up the assault. This time, each of his strikes were empowered with the element of darkness and shot at a much faster rate. The Agent couldn't handle it particularly effectively, blocking some of the attacks and attempting to react with a swing of one of his blades, but the moment he swung Gexln was gone, too fast to hit. Taking damage fast and having no true way of stopping the keyblade wielder, Chaos did something that nobody could have seen coming but when you think about it is incredibly smart: he stuck out a leg and tripped Gexln. Taking advantage of the momentary confusion, The Agent stabbed his blades into each of Gexln's legs, preventing him from moving. He then gathered an enormous ball of flame in his hand and prepared to strike down Gexln and end this battle. But, right as he went to do that, he was stopped. Gexln had once again been saved by Satsujin, although he wasn't alone, Juliet was with him. Satsujin dashed forward with his blade in hand, moving around Chaos in a similar way that Gexln had, but faster. In between dashes, he would strike with his blade, slashing in about thirty different directions simultaneously, before dashing to the side and doing the same thing again. He kept this going, repeating that motion and avoiding any attempts Chaos made at stopping him, as Juliet began assaulting Chaos from the front with a bombardment of swings from her keyblade, mixing in blasts of both dark and light energy as she did so. Things were getting desperate for their opponent, and he knew it. If he was struggling this much with these mortals, he could only wonder how Omega was doing. He had to end it fast, before they did too much damage for him to recover from. Releasing another pillar of flame to knock the warriors away, Chaos now stabbed both of his blades into the ground beside himself and gathered two enormous fireballs, one in each hand. Using the powers over the area they were in, he manipulated the environment, and for a second there was complete silence. There was no fire heard in the background, no destruction of any kind, and then all at once it happened. Fireballs and meteors began raining from the sky once more, straight on top of the platform they were on. Gexln, Juliet and Ghost tried their best to keep attacking Chaos, but with the rate that they were falling and the area they were covering, it was near impossible to get close to Chaos once more. It seemed that all was lost, and Chaos knew that he had won. He let out a laugh, the kind you would expect to hear from a truly evil demon, but that laughter was cut off as quickly as it had started as Chaos felt something sever inside of him; the connection to Omega. Omega had fallen, and that sparked something inside of the demon that nobody could ever have thought possible; a shred of fear. Not very much, but it was enough. Enough to distract him enough that for a split second, the rain of fire and meteors ceased. The warriors saw their opportunity, and god damn they were going to take it. Juliet and Ghost resumed the attack pattern they had been doing before, but far more effectively due to Chaos no longer having the blades to defend himself with. Gexln, however, had another plan. He would end Chaos, and he would end it there and then. If someone looked closely, they would see tears on his face due to the loss of Xero, tears of both pain and undying rage. "Juliet, Satsujin, launch me!" he yelled out to them as he jumped up above them. The two below him responded accordingly and stopped their assault for just a moment, doing exactly as Gexln had asked and both propelling him upwards with all the strength they could muster. Gexln went skyward, far higher than he'd ever reached, and he knew immediately what had to be done. Launching himself downwards with all the momentum he could manage, the Nobody went rocketing vertically down towards Chaos. Xero, I promise you, I won't let you die in vain, I will kill him! he thought, thinking of her as he fell. With an extremely loud cry of rage, Gexln landed on top of Chaos with an almighty explosion of darkness as he released his dark shockwave. Knocked down on the ground, The Agent was in an exceptionally dangerous position. Gexln took advantage of this, and he stepped up and stood on top of Chaos. Then, acting quickly, he picked up one of Chaos' blades and raised it above his head. With unparalleled ferocity he began hacking and slashing at The Agent on the ground, cutting him up again and again with his own weapon until it was little more than a bloody corpse. Then, yelling once again, he began firing an endless barrage of Dark Firagas, each of them hitting the fallen Agent in front of him until there was nothing than a smouldering pile of ash. Stepping off of what remained of Chaos, Gexln rushed over to Xero. With tears in his eyes, there was no doubt that Gexln was crying as he desperately tried to use cure magic to heal her. However, due to him not knowing very much healing magic whatsoever, it did not work. As the area around him turned back into the keyblade graveyard, it was obvious that the battle was over, but Gexln didn't care about that. He picked up Xero's body and prepared to lay her to rest, but his heart skipped a beat as he heard the faintest sound coming from her; breathing. Xero was alive, but barely. He ran as fast as he could over to R, carrying Xero on the way and placing her at R's feet. He was kneeling in front of R now, and he began pounding on R's chest with his fists. He didn't care how childish he looked, he only cared about one thing. "R, please...please heal Xero! Save her! I don't care what you have to do, bring her back to me!" he begged, all confidence and general badassery gone from the warrior, only to be replaced with childlike desperation.
Arabella Oblea stood her ground, showing no doubt of any kind to those around. Inside, she was already questioning whether it was the right thing, but she kept telling herself that it wasn't just for the good of the public, but it was also to keep her brother safe, and that was all she needed. "I'm following the orders I was given, Robyn. If you want to find out why she's asking saying things like she is, then I suggest asking her for yourself when she is being questioned. You could probably ask the director, perhaps they know something" she said, attempting to pull the focus off of her. Arabella didn't feel particularly comfortable in that situation, not at all. "Thank you Sir, I try my best" she said in response to Quinn. The girl wasn't going to respond verbally to him telling her to think about what Mila said, nor was she going to give a response to the fugitive, but she would do as each asked. She would not judge Mila's words as those spoken by a criminal, but rather as though she was a complete stranger to her. As Mila surrendered, she lowered her gun ever so slightly. It was more of relief and relaxing just the tiniest bit, not enough to really influence her shot, but enough to indicate that she wasn't as tense as she was. So the difficult part was done, now for the easy bit. "Sasha, Lucia, one of you call the special forces to come get her. I don't care which, just one of you please do it" Arabella said, not taking her eyes off of Mila.
Enjoyed listening to it, was some rather interesting points made in my opinion. Graphically KH is looking pretty impressive these days. At the rate you guys are releasing these things I'm shocked you're only up to #68 XD
Samantha Pleygian was walking with her sister, both of them walking to get ice cream, when they saw Orbis and Lapis and heard them call out to them. The little girl stopped for a moment, trying to hear what they were saying. As she finally understood, her jaw dropped in a combination of shock and horror. They thought Mr. Bear...was a monster? They called her best friend, her only friend, a monster. How would he feel? He would feel alone and hurt, like someone had left beat him up and left him all by himself, wouldn't he? Samantha wanted to turn around, to run back inside and close the door before they started calling her names too, but she couldn't. She had to be strong for Mr. Bear. Putting on her best brave-looking face, Samantha took a step forward. She had only just made that step, prepared to go and make them say sorry to Mr. Bear, when all bravery left her body. She couldn't talk to them, people scared her to no end. Stepping back beside Alexandra, she reached up and tugged at her arm gently, calling her sister's name out quietly as she did so. Alexandra was already bored of the walk, but still enjoying it to an extent. It wasn't all that often she spent time with just her and her sister, more often than not Samantha was in her room playing with her stuffed bear. That damn bear caused so many problems. Her sister spent all her time hiding away with it, refusing to even try to talk to the people in the outside world, always using it as an excuse to not leave the house. Her attention was brought back when she heard Orbic and Lapis call out to them. "Monsters?" she echoed, the word itself not used much by her. She hadn't seen anything on the way there, what could they possibly be talking about? It was then that she felt Samantha tugging at her arm and calling to her, trying to get her attention. Alexandra looked down at her younger sibling. "What is it, Sammy?" she asked. "Make them say sorry to Mr. Bear. He doesn't like being called a monster" "I don't think they were talking about Mr. Bear" "They were! I saw them looking at him when they yelled" "Maybe they were trying to warn him of the danger" "Alexandra, make them say sorry" "I'm not going to make them say sorry for something they haven't done" the older sister said, standing her ground. Well, that settled it. If Alexandra wasn't going to make them apologise to Mr. Bear, then like it or not Samantha was going to have to do it. Even if she was scared, which she very much was, she had to go after them and help Mr. Bear feel better. Letting go of Alexandra's hand, Samantha took off after Lapis and Orbis, yelling out for them to say sorry to Mr. Bear as she ran. "Sammy, come back!" Alexandra called out to her sister, before she too hurried in that direction. "Dain. You know what to do."The moment the words left India's mouth, Dain was up and moving. He did know what to do. For a second he had hoped India meant to throw Renna to the creatures, to use her as a distraction, and he was all for that, but common sense (yes he does have some) told the boy that wasn't what his friend had meant. He had grabbed his axe, which he left leaning against the table they had been sitting at, and had taken off towards the creatures. His battleaxe was a whirlwind of destruction as the warrior went to work attacking the heartless. He had no idea of their attack patterns, no idea how agile or defensive they were, but they seemed to be rather fragile. In a matter of moments, he had killed two of them, causing them to disperse into a kind of black vapour. Interesting, wonder what that is Dain thought to himself. He didn't have time to wonder about it any more though, as one of the creatures approached the cage around Azra. Acting swiftly, Dain leaped forward and swung his axe at the creature. It dove into the ground to avoid the attack, surprising the hell out of its attacker, and in that moment of confusion hurried behind the boy and lunged at him. Thankfully, the axe wielder was no stranger to battle. He hadn't been in many life or death situations, but he sparred on a regular basis, and had a killer instinct inside of him that refused to die down at the best of times. This saved him, telling him to guard behind him, which he did so. The block staggered the heartless, knocking it onto its back, and Dain followed it up immediately by spinning around and hitting the creature with a three hit combo attack, making it turn into the black mist just as the others had been. "Phew, these things are quick. Not quick enough though. Hey, Azra, how about you pull your finger out of your ass and help? Be careful though, I've got munny riding on you beating that other chick once this is over" he stated, completely serious with how he spoke.
"Where the hell am I going to run to? There's nowhere TO run!" the girl yelled in response to Xero, before Chaos started his attack. Juliet saw the attacks coming before Gexln did, managing to avoid the majority of them. She simply leaped into the air and began spamming the ever-loving-crap out of Reflega, forming a barrier that protected her from the flames. It didn't protect her completely though, as the barrier shattered halfway through the attack and Juliet found herself singed, landing on the ground with a wordless thud. She recovered far quicker than she should have, the light inside of her slowly restoring her energy. Caleb nodded as Louvel put R's plan into action but made it seem like it was his all along. Credit hogging ass. The summoner had been firing off all the weapons at Omega's torso, and to change that now would require just as much energy as it had taken to create it, so that option was out of the window. He couldn't redirect his Gate, but he could still replicate other weapons on their own. Creating one more legendary weapon, Ichaival, Caleb aimed very carefully at the thing that they had to destroy to screw over Omega. It had to be the exact right time or they would fail. Taking all factors into consideration, Caleb drew the arrow and fired, causing the arrow to sail through the air and strike and destroy its target, just as Louvel, Xepphiras, Xepphiras' pet dragon Shinryu, and Jarv- I mean Hikar- damnit I mean Eric destroyed their thingies too. As Chaos did his flame pillar thing Gexln was screwed. There was no logical way of how to avoid it. That was it. He had to use a non logical way. "Dodge roll!" he called out, just as Beuce had all those posts ago. Normally he would have died there and then, but dodge roll had invincibility frames, and that saved Gexln from certain death. Next came the sweep of the greatsword. For Agents that are meant to end the universe, these guys sure fight like a sort of normal fighter. I mean, a sweep of a sword? Doesn't scream godlike power does it? he thought to himself, shortly before he leaped up and over the sword, using aero magic to stop the winds pushing him off into the abyss. It was like Chaos was reading his mind. Right as Gexln landed, a hell of a lot of swords flew to the sides of the platform they were on and stabbed into it. That wasn't the end of it though, indicated as the ground beneath Gexln began heating up quickly. "This can't be good" he said quietly, and he was right. Immediately, the area around him burst into flames, and despite his best attempt at more dodge roll invincibility he was hit and placed into critical health, which caused a blaring siren to sound in his ears constantly. "Dear god make it stop, Chaos! Cut off my ears!" he yelled. It was then that he saw Xero on the ground, not moving. The thoughts of the siren shoved away temporarily, he raced over there and knelt down next to her, despite the threat of Chaos nearby. He barely noticed Satsujin saving his life, too worried about his fallen partner in front of him. "Xero! Xero, get up!" he yelled, almost trying to shake her awake as he did so. "Xero!" he yelled, practically screaming as he got no response. For a moment, Gexln was tempted to give up, tempted to simply allow Chaos to kill him, but Xero wouldn't want that. Rather than allow himself to die, he would take Chaos' life away from him, just as he had done to Xero's. Whirring around in less than a second, Gexln glared at Chaos with ferocity and murderous intent in his eyes, before racing towards The Agent, prepared to do whatever it took to end it one way or another.
Coincidentally and not at all because the rper decided it, Glen just so happened to be the wielder nearest to Beuce, and the one that got asked for help. Karina would have been the nearest, but she had gone into the mirror, and with it had left Glen completely dumbfounded. He blinked twice, not moving a muscle. Had Karina just basically said "yeah i'm a horrible ***** that nobody likes, but you don't know me at all"? That was exactly as he had thought of her, had she taken whatever drug yen sid had taken to get stoned? The girl just didn't make any sense whatsoever! The sound of Beuce's request brought him back to his senses, and as he listened and found out what the problem was, he knew what he had to do. Maybe Beuce would hate him for what he was about to do, but part of the wielder thought that he would see the funny side of things. At least, that's what he was hoping for. He tried his best to make it seem as though he really, really wanted the book, when the truth was he didn't care for it at all. "I'll help you, but only if you can beat me in an arm wres- oh wait, damn, I forgot" he said, sarcasm evident in his voice as he spoke. He stifled a laugh. "You know Beuce, I'm really surprised you haven't figured out how to put something in your pocket yet. I mean, you seem to be a pretty smart guy, but this one's got you beat, hasn't it? You could even say...it has you stumped" Glen said, once again suppressing the urge to laugh. He wasn't finished yet, he'd never forgive himself if he didn't make the most of this opportunity. "Here's an idea. How about you try to, I don't know, scare it into your pocket. Do something so frightening it'll just leap into there for safety! Then again, it probably wouldn't work. Now everybody knows that you're not dangerous, you're just...'armless" he said, feeling an overwhelming urge to laugh at his bad joke. Thankfully, he resisted it. "Oh man, this is way too easy. You really need to work on some comebacks though. You never know, could come in handy" he said. It took the warrior a moment before he realized he had unintentionally made another hand pun. "Sorry, sorry, that one was honestly accidental" Glen apologized, putting the book into Beuce's pocket for him. "Anyway, we should probably catch up to the others, wouldn't want to fall behind. Nobody knows what's on the other side, it'd be best if we armed ourselves beforehand" Glen said, unable to resist making one or two last puns, before leaping into the mirror, an ominous feeling that someone with a knife was following behind him. Coincidentally enough, Beuce followed behind him shortly after.
Glen, surprisingly, took a step over to Kross before deciding to speak. "Pick yourself up, Kross. Your master, I very much doubt he'd want you to sit there feeling sorry for yourself. He wants you and the others to save Terra, Ven, and Aqua..whoever the hell they are. He also wants that book protected, the one that we let get taken by that mouse. The way he talked about the book, it sounded really damn powerful. If there's anything that'll tell you how to change the guy back from stone, then I'd be willing to bet that it's in that book" he said reassuringly. Stepping away from Kross, Glen took a very deep breath. He was still blaming Karina for the loss of his allies, he was still convinced that they were better off without her, but if what she had yelled at him was true, she really didn't have anywhere else to go, which meant she was stuck with them. And, as much as he hated to admit it, if she was stuck with them then they had to work together. The thought sent a small shiver down the keyblade wielder's spine. He walked over and approached Karina, using caution and keeping a slight distance away from her should he need to dive headfirst into the mirror. "I'm not taking back what I said, and I'm not going to say sorry" he said simply. He then let out a sigh, before continuing. "We need to go after that mouse. The book could have something in it that can help the master, and even if it doesn't...well, we won't know until we try. If we are going to pull this off, fix everythin' up, then all of us are going to have to pitch in. Like it or not, that includes you. If you help get this book, I'll quit mentioning your homeworld, sound good?" he offered, fighting every instinct in his body to turn around and run as fast as his legs could possibly carry him.
Purchasing Brave Warrior, so Glen now has 2475 munny. Glen is a monk no longer. Equipping the Soldier Job, and Starseeker with that (he had no keyblade equipped beforehand) Also equipping Dodge Roll with the 2AP he has left.
Gexln shot a glare in the direction of Kross. Kross may have been affected by the fear ray thing that Chaos had done, as they all were, but now he was refusing to use the x-blade? "Kross, yeah I don't know if you've noticed or anything, but the fate of, you know, everything is kinda hanging in the balance right now" he said, speaking extremely casually and in a calm tone, "so pick up the ****ing x-blade and stop being a god damn moron" he yelled, the calm demeanor vanishing instantly. After that, he turned to see Xero fighting Chaos alone. He was in motion at a moment's notice, sprinting over towards her. As he saw her get hit by Chaos' attack and sliced open at the waist, his speed only increased. Xero was in danger, and he was going to get her out of it. In seconds he was there by her side, the worry evident on his face as he saw the gaping wound. He would have used cure no her, would have healed her wound, but there was one huge problem with that, and he was standing right in front of Gexln. "Juliet, get over here and heal Xero!" he shouted to his daughter, not taking his eyes off Chaos in front of him. It wasn't a request, it was an order. He then went into motion. The swordsman summoned his x-blade to his side, and still in his Embrace of the Shadows form, he attacked. Using the sheer speed at his disposal, Gexln began savagely striking Chaos with his x-blade. His opponent was no longer using simply one blade, it had stopped that the moment it had lost one of the arms. As Gexln attacked, Chaos would parry or outright block his strike, and retaliate with a swift combo attack with all three blades. It took every bit of skill in the Nobody's body to avoid the attacks, and respond with his own. Over and over this process went, neither of them making ground, until at last Gexln saw an opening. With a surge of energy and his determination not faltering in the slightest, the Nobody of the Dark pushed forward. He was more on the offensive, but not by a lot. Chaos was certainly playing more defensively, but could easily make a comeback, so the time had to be right then. He had to strike then, before The Agent attacked again. Gexln swung the x-blade at Chaos' remaining arm on the left side, but as expected it was blocked. He had anticipated this, and lashed out with his clawed hand again at the left arm, only for it to be once more blocked. He took a brief step back, and hurled the x-blade strike raid style at the arm. Not surprisingly, it was prevented again. The Agent saw the opportunity to attack and took it, Gexln practically defenseless. Or so it seemed. This was what Gexln had been waiting for. Summoning the X-blade to him as Chaos attacked, he ducked underneath the strike and brought the weapon up to one of Chaos' right arms, and ran it straight along the shoulder, cutting it clean off in one swift motion. He then jumped back away a short distance. "Agent dis-" he began, before cutting himself off as he saw Juliet shaking her head in a silent 'no'. Meanwhile, in Omega's domain, Caleb was staring down the giant before him. With himself, R, Louvel, and Xepphiras there, he was confident they could take down The Agent. However, he wasn't going to be able to do it by simply using his standard unlimited blade works as he had been. No, he had to push himself further. If not for himself, then for everyone else. Closing his eyes in intense concentration, Caleb's entire body began giving off a golden glow, his magic going into overdrive. Behind him, a wall appeared with the same glow as his body had. This was a gate constructed of Caleb's ability itself, it was the place that every weapon he had ever created came from, and it was high time that he put that to use. From the gate slowly emerged weapons. These weren't any ordinary weapons though, they were weapons from mythology itself. While they weren't the originals, they came damn close. There was weapons such as Pashupatastra, Asi, Harpe, Totsuka-no-Tsurugi, Caledfwlch, Nægling, Hǫfuð, and Tonbogiri, among many, many others. Each weapon inched out of the gate, but stopped as the end of it reached the very edge of the gate itself. A minute passed as Caleb gathered every ounce of magic power he had in his body, and then some. Then, Caleb opened his eyes and mentally willed the blades to take off. All at once, every weapon that was in the gate released itself, rocketing towards Omega and slamming into the creature. As the weapon reached Omega, it would break and return to the magic from whence it was created, only to be re-forged and launched once more in an instant, as though it had never been destroyed to begin with. "Attack it now! Destroy this creature, and let it never again threaten our world!" he yelled, being partially drowned out by the sound of weapons slamming into Omega repeatedly.
Gexln's pace increased at the sight of Chaos in front of Xero. The Agent had been pushed back ever so slightly from Juliet's attack, but ultimately it had done nothing to stop it. And now Xero's life was in danger. She meant far too much to Gexln to be killed, he wouldn't allow it. He knew that a single attack from Chaos would probably be enough to kill Xero there and then. If it were anyone else, she'd probably survive, but not Chaos. The Agent was far too powerful. As Gexln got close, he saw Chaos pull back one of the swords it had, preparing to deliver the finishing blow. There wasn't time for any caution, any preparation or planning, the Nobody of the Dark had to move NOW. Out of sheer desperation, he dove forward. "Xero! Run! Get out of here!" he yelled out, the panic and fear of losing her evident in his voice. Stretching out, he pushed her out of the way with a surge of energy, claws probably scratching her but she would be much less injured than she would have been had she still been standing there. Now there was a new problem though, one that Gexln had seen coming but hadn't really thought of a solution to. Xero may have been safe, but now he was the one in danger. As he closed his eyes and waited for the end, he expected an instant death, yet none came. He opened them again, only to see Juliet standing in the way. She had blocked the strike with her keyblade, but it was easy to see she was struggling with it. "If you ever give up again, I'll let them finish you off. My father is stronger than that, my father doesn't give up!" Juliet cried, straining under the pressure Chaos was providing. She was thankful that he was overconfident and only striking with one sword; any more and she would undoubtedly be killed. She groaned a little, Chaos shoving against her with more effort now. Right as she thought she was about to give way, Gexln stood up next to her, and he was pushing with her. Gexln was planning to help his daughter. She was right, he didn't give up. Especially not now. "Let's kick this guy's ass" he said through gritted teeth. Surprisingly, Juliet showed a smile. This was the man her father was. Not the dark, horrible murderer that he had once been, but the misguided hero he tried so hard to be now. Maybe Xero being with him was a good thing, maybe. With a mighty effort, Juliet and Gexln worked together and pushed back The Agent. If it were just them normally, they would stand no chance, but with the X-blade they even found themselves pushing him back. They continued pushing their advantage, and soon Chaos was actually staggered slightly, clearly not expecting the power from the two. "Now, Gexln!" Juliet shouted, before taking a brief step back and launching the chaos beam at their foe. It flinched their opponent, and it clearly made a mark, but it was more a distraction than anything. A distraction to make way for Gexln. Gexln took full advantage of Chaos' distraction. Circling around to the back of Chaos, he began his assault. Swipe after swipe with the claws he had, constantly attacking one of the arms of Chaos, he began furiously striking in the same exact spot; the joint between the arm and the torso. With a superhuman effort, he began thinning the flesh of it, before his claws began to glow the same purple as the shards on his back, and he leaped up into the air. Striking with the strength of a raging fire, Gexln slashed downwards, severing the arm entirely. Time seemed to slow down as The Agent showed obvious rage, pain, and general negative emotions, as Gexln cried out "Agent disarmed!" causing a groan from his daughter for such a poor joke.
Despite Gexln's attack, Chaos hadn't even flinched. How were they meant to defeat it at that rate? He was still scanning his brain for ideas when he felt a change in the air as Chaos and Omega's auras changed. He couldn't explain it, but they felt all the more threatening. Too threatening. As the area around him changed, Gexln was immediately reminded of the attack Xindai had done. Were The Agents doing the same thing? It turned out that in a sense they were. However, while Xindai's had been an illusion, this felt very much real. He was standing in Chaos' zone, witnessing what seemed to be the end of everything. The apocalypse. It wasn't quite what he imagined it to be. Gexln had always pictured it as being some barren wasteland, just completely void of activity of any kind, and while the area they were in certainly seemed to be free of most life, it certainly wasn't quiet, not when it was raining meteors from the sky. What happened next was far too difficult for Gexln to see coming or explain. He was hit with a pulsating wave of energy from Chaos, and while it did no damage to him whatsoever, something broke in him. In an instant, the Nobody of the Dark saw everyone laying dead, looked down upon his own hands and saw that he had lost control to darkness once more. Xero was dead, right in front of him. Then as soon as it had come, that vanished. Looking around, everyone seemed physically fine, it was another trick. He had felt terror unlike any other flood into him, but it was g- It was then he gazed upon Chaos. He couldn't put his finger on it, but something about Chaos was the most gut-wrenching, horrifying thing he had ever laid eyes upon. This wasn't just another enemy, this was truly the end of the world they were battling. Nothing they did would be able to defeat Chaos, Gexln had that set in his mind now. And, against his better judgement, he turned...and ran. He took off exceptionally quick, simply trying to get away as far as he possibly could from the monster that stood before them. Juliet had a similar reaction to Gexln. She, too, had seen her worst fear only for it to vanish. And, like her father, she realized it had been replaced by Chaos, who now seemed impossible to defeat. He was the spitting image of death, a method of execution guaranteed to work on them all. She did not run from Chaos, she couldn't. No matter what she tried, her legs just wouldn't move. Juliet was truly frozen in fear, unable to move, as Chaos began approaching them. She screamed. It was her father that saved her. As he had been running, his mind had been fighting the illusion that Chaos had planted in there. Unfortunately, Gexln's mind alone wasn't strong enough to do it, not by a long shot. He had then heard a scream come from Juliet, and immediately he looked back. Behind him were Xero and Juliet, among others. If he kept running, he could probably get out of the area, but then what? He'd be safe for maybe a couple of hours, and then the universe as he knew it would end, just as he had yelled out to Karina and Ananta. Not only that, but if he kept going at that pace, he would be leaving Xero and Juliet to die. Scared as he was, he wasn't about to do that. He turned around. Racing back towards Juliet, he grabbed the x blade from the ground as he did so. It was the key to winning, the tool they needed to strike down the agents, and he knew exactly what to do with it. He had used its power already, and it still flowed through his veins, but there was one more person that still needed it, that was yet to use it. His daughter, Juliet Senka. Despite not having the weapon, she had been fighting against Chaos just as much as the rest of them, but now she was broken. She was useless, too terrified to do anything, and he wasn't about to have that. He altered his course slightly, and began sprinting towards Xero. Pulling back his arm, he hurled the x blade towards Juliet in a strike raid, yelling out to her as he did so. He then continued towards Xero, determined to fight alongside her and end it all. Juliet was still unable to move, and her mind was breaking down at a rapid pace. She barely heard the sound of her father's voice calling out to her, but thankfully she turned around to see what it was. He had thrown something, the x-blade. It sailed through the air at a high speed, and for just a split second, Juliet found the strength she needed to move her arm and catch it. The second she came into contact with the x-blade she felt a tremendous amount of courage in her. The fear hadn't vanished, but she was no longer freaking out, and her mind had calmed itself. There was too much at stake to stop now, to give up. Using the power of the x-blade, Juliet tapped into the chaos within herself. Deep into her heart she dove, and continued diving until she reached the bottom, the very depths of the light and darkness she held inside. At that moment, Juliet changed. Her clothing visibly changed to a yellow and purple colour. Her eyes changed too, one to the purple of darkness, and the other to a bright yellow, using the light. She was evenly balanced in both of these, and this was the peak of Juliet's potential. This was the power she had possessed inside her all along, too frightened to attempt to use. But there was no fear now, none remaining now that she held the x-blade. She knew she couldn't use it all though, she had to allow others to wield this power, or they would be as lost as she was. Stabbing the x-blade into the ground, the girl turned and glared at Chaos. "I use the same power as you. The power of chaos. Say what you like about the rest of the people here, but none of it matters. Regardless of what you say, I'm going to rip you apart for what you have done!" the daughter of Gexln yelled, firing a multi-coloured beam of both light and darkness straight at chaos' center.
