Arabella had kept her rifle trained on Mila throughout the entire fiasco. She was almost disappointed with how Hawk was handling things. While he didn't seem inexperienced at all, he didn't strike her as the most professional person. When she had requested either Lucia or Sasha to fetch someone with authority, she had expected them to find someone that would do it right away, not start a conversation. This girl was a threat, wasn't she? So why wasn't she being treated as one? She should be loc-

Mila made a movement, kicking the dagger into the air rather quickly. The escapee was attacking, proving the rumours of her being a danger right!

It didn't even take Arabella a second to react. The girl pulled the trigger, firing the gun and causing a loud noise to be released. The crowd around reacted quickly, dispersing in a panic and run away in fear. Mila had anticipated the shot, however, and had ducked underneath. Arabella cursed under her breath, ashamed that the shot had been avoided in such a simple manner. "Damnit, damnit!" the girl whispered to nobody in particular, reloading swiftly.

Once she had reloaded, the sniper took aim once more, determined to make the shot that time. However, Mila had done something that Arabella had not seen coming; she had given back the weapon. Keeping the finger on the trigger and the gun pointed at Mila, Arabella appeared to be unphased by her surrendering once more, but inside was a panic. She was questioning things, things she shouldn't be. She was questioning why this girl was a threat, why she had given herself up not once but twice, and most importantly, if she wasn't a threat like she claimed, why would the academy want her brought in so badly? In an attempt to recover, the girl opened her mouth to speak, saying "Quit talking and put her away already" just loudly enough that Hawk would hear.

Can confirm. It is a terrible face, one that inspires nightmares and paranoia. The one that the face belongs to is pretty, but the expression...it is the thing parents show their children at night to get them to eat their vegetables.

Gaius was growing impatient, and fast. He had signed up for that job so that he could get the chance to beat up dark guild members, only to find out he couldn't do that. Then there had been hope given to him in the form of evil spirits he could beat up instead, only to find out that nobody knew where the spirits were. Except perhaps the butler. Surely the butler, having presumably worked there for plenty of years, would know where they were, right? And then Thomas went and asked a stupid question. Stepping over to Thomas, he decided that the best way to proceed quickly was to answer his question for the butler. Grabbing onto the back of Thomas' pants, Gaius gave it a solid pull up and gave the flirt an atomic wedgie, pulling the boy's underwear over his head.

"Okay, I'm going to give you a hint. Are you ready? Here is your clue" Gaius said, before quickly sidestepping over to the butler. The fire mage held a hand next to his mouth so as to muffle the sound just slightly as he leaned towards the butler's ear, appearing as though he were about to whisper into his ear. "THE ANSWER IS RAINBOW! RAINBOW UNDERWEAR, DO YOU SEE IT? NOW WHERE ARE THE DAMN SPIRITS?" Gaius yelled out, risking defeaning the butler but making sure he got his point across.

    Username: .Hades
    Name: Sven
    Age: 19
    Gender: Male
    Appearance: BEHOLD THE BLOOD BONE
    Race: Spirox
    Power: Bone Manipulation
Abilities: Bone Generation - Has the ability to create bones extending from his body (think wolverine, but anywhere on his body)
Bone Retraction - Can retract any exterior bones in seconds, regardless of the length.
Weaponization of bone - After creating an exterior bone, can simply allow it to drop off so that he can use it as a sharpened blade. Yes Gabi, it's possible. Do not argue this.
Enhanced reflexes - Has reflexes better than the average human, enabling him to avoid attacks slightly easier.
Graveyard - By using his control over manifestation of bones, Sven places his hands on the ground and extends bones from his hands into the ground. In a matter of seconds, hundreds of sharp bones erupt from the ground, shooting high into the sky in an attempt to impale his opponent.
    Weapons: The bones he uses.
Personality: Cocky, aggressive, very protective of those he thinks of as friends, and quick to act.
    Bio:
As a child, Sven was as close as anything to his brother. However, the two of them often got into trouble. They would take things, play practical jokes, and just generally cause mischief. This caught up to them one day, when Sven's brother Richard took something that belonged to some dangerous people, namely Cierra's parents, the Escravo duo (although Sven had no idea who they were). They didn't like their things being taken, and soon went after Richard.

They caught him. As some of their friends held back Sven, the young boy could only watch as his brother was beaten senseless in front of him to the point his face was unrecognisable, before they pulled a dagger on him and sliced him down the center, all while Sven was helplessly screaming at them to stop.

Once Richard was dead, the murderers turned their attention to Sven, who was beyond breaking point now. With a cry of anger and desperation, his spirox powers awakened inside of him, and the thugs that had held him down were instantly impaled by bones expanding from the boy and stabbing into them, before the bones retracted into the child. The Escravo duo, surprised at the development, turned and fled, not wanting to be the next victims. Sven raced over to his brother's side, but it was too late; he was already dead.

Quite a few years later, Sven was walking around the prison, making his usual check. He went there frequently, as he always had, to see if his brother's murderers were there. They weren't, as he expected. What he found instead though, was a girl fleeing from the guards there, screaming for her life. Sven fought off the guards and helped the girl escape, before offering her a place to stay at his home in the district that most spirox users stayed in.
Other: Knows Cierra, and feels very close to her.

    Race: Human
    Power: N/A
Abilities: Expert Marksman - Has an average accuracy with most firearms, but is deadly accurate with his crossbow.
Dagger mastery - Extremely proficient with daggers
Incredible strength - Is by no means super strength, but is stronger physically than most humans.
    Weapons: Dagger
    Crossbow
Personality: Extremely aggressive and heavily prone to violence, enjoys insulting others. Almost never does something to help others unless he can see it working out for him in some way. Exceptionally fluent in sarcasm and smartassery.
    Bio:
Born to an exceptionally wealthy family, Hunter grew up living a very privileged life. Unfortunately, so many years of extreme wealth and having servants to cater to his every whim made his personality into what he is today.

However, his life of luxury came to a halt at the age of twelve. His father, being a compulsive gambler, got involved with the wrong sort of people and, in a high stakes betting game, gambled away their massive fortune. Arriving home a beaten and broken man, young Stefano was amazed at how his father had managed to do it. Amazed, and outraged.

That night, Stefano's father was driven mad by his losses. He snapped, taking the life of the woman he had been married to for 25 years, and turned on his son, who had seen the struggle from the bottom of the staircase that led to his parents' room. As the man got close to his son, he tripped over and fell down the staircase, breaking multiple bones in his body and dying instantaneously. At least, that's how the story was told by Stefano.

What had actually happened was Stefano had watched his father drinking during the rest of the day, sending himself blind drunk and eventually collapsing into his bed. Stefano had then taken the carving knife from the kitchen and climbed into his room. First, his mother went. She had always mistreated him, never paying him much attention and always saying how much of a horrid child he was, so the strings of life were cut right there and then.

It was then that his father awoke in a drunken rage, but still intoxicated he could barely walk. Quickly, Stefano ran for the stairs out of fear. His father, despite staggering everywhere, caught the boy and grabbed him by the back of his shirt. The child then turned on him and thrust forward with the knife and pushing, causing his father to lose balance and fall down the stairs, bones breaking with a sickening crunch as he fell.

Stefano kept that tale to himself. He was living on the streets, but he preferred that to living in a jail cell. Even though he was 12, he wasn't sure what the authorities would do to punish him. Learning to survive on the streets, Stefano abandoned his old name, taking up the alias "Hunter" as he started trying to find out who had helped send his family broke.

At the age of 17, Hunter finally found him; the man who had been head of the people his father had been gambling with. He tracked him down, and eventually cornered him. He told the man why he was going to kill him, and then thanked him. He thanked him for awakening the murderer inside of him, for helping him reach his true potential, and then he made the kill. After the man was murdered, Hunter started making a name for himself as both a bounty hunter and assassin, and he still continues these things to this very day.

    Name: Anthrax
    Age: Three
    Gender: Male
    Appearance: Here
Race: Technically a rat, but he's closest to a mutant.
    Power: Rat mutation
Abilities: Born swimmer- Can stay swimming for days due to his species
Super strength - Has immense strength since the injection
Unrelenting - Practically limitless stamina due to both the injection and his species
Brute - Lacks intelligence and is naturally very stupid
Speech - Due to the injection has gained the power to speak, but not always very well
    Weapons: HIS FISTS
    Personality:
Extremely aggressive, yet has a slight fear of anyone that resembles a scientist. Is quick to judge people, and even faster to jump to conclusions. Overall a bit of a brute. Also has a fear of mouse traps.
    Bio:
Anthrax was the original recipient of the artificial Spirox gene. A literal lab rat, he was the first trial on rats. The first, but he would not be the last. The virus took a dangerous turn for the little rat. It mutated him, causing him to grow in size and intelligence to an extent. Everything about him began larger, from the whiskers on his face to his tail. The rat broke out of the makeshift prison that the scientists had put him in upon seeing his growth, and made his escape.

Destroying every machine, test tube, and pieces of lab equipment he came across in his rampage, he eventually gave up on trying to find the door. Rather, he decided to make one. Using his collossal strength, Anthrax slammed his fists against the wall until a huge chunk of it was destroyed, before taking off. He may have thought that would stop the research on the spirox gene, but he couldn't have been more wrong, for in his rampage he had proved that the scientists were on the right track; the gene had successfully created their first super-soldier.

A short time after his escape, Anthrax encountered Sebastian Abject, a fellow mutant. The two of them both saw themselves as monsters, and quickly became best friends. Anthrax then learned of the antidote that had been created. At first, he saw it as something pointless and unnecessary, but he soon saw it as something different entirely; the tool he needed to give his best and only friend the happiness he desired.
    Other: Is Sebastian's best friend.

    Username: Smurfasaurus
    Name: Sebastian Abject
    Age: 18
    Gender: Male
    Appearance: Here
    Race: Mutant
    Power: Bat-human hybrid
Abilities: Extremely quick, and has amazing hearing. He can see extremely well in the dark, though he doesn't have perfect vision in it. Light itself doesn't phase him, although if he isn't expecting it it can often leave him temporarily blinded. Has the ability of flight, also.

If things get desperate enough, Sebastian does have the ability to shapeshift into a much more powerful form. In this form, he is much stronger, more durable, and slightly faster, although he has little to no self control and acts on pure instinct.
Weapons: The claws he has instead of fingernails. Also, throwing knives.
Personality: Extremely loyal, however he views himself as an outcast to all things. He will fight to the very end if need be and never give up, but he is hesitant to openly engage in fighting unless he or someone else he knows is in danger.
    Bio:
Sebastian was originally a soldier. Fighting for the government, protecting the antidote, it used to be his job. Now it is but a distant memory, plagued with pain and regret. In order to both keep his job and keep the antidote safe, Sebastian volunteered for the "Spyrix Soldier Program", a program that involved the injection of a serum into his body that would grant him the abilities of the spirox users he fought against.

Not everything went to plan, however. Sebastian's body rejected the serum and caused a severe mutation in the boy, causing his ears to morph into those of a bat, and wings to manifest on his back. Horrified at what he had become, Sebastian left the program and entire military operation. Only hours after he arrived home, a giant rat charged through the wall of his home in a panic. Just as Sebastian was getting ready to fight it off, the rat raced upstairs and hid underneath the bed, causing Sebastian to laugh. He decided to let the rat stay with him, on the condition that he stopped destroying his house.

A while later, Sebastian and Anthrax had moved to the mutant district, where they would stand out less. One day, while sitting inside of his home, Anthrax kicked the door down and held up a small girl, dangling upside down from her feet and claiming he had found a pet bird. After a long time of arguing about ethics with Anthrax, the girl woke up and asked what had happened. Sebastian said he had no idea, and Anthrax refused to say anything about it other than he found a pet bird, and so the matter was never completely revealed.

Other: Is Anthrax's best friend, as well as the one who saved Tinarah.

Dain leaned backwards as the girl put her weapon in his face. Part of him found it hot, but for the most part, he just found it amusing. Casually, he lowered his axe and pushed pushed the weapon away from him. "Naw, that's adorable, you think you can actually hurt me" he said, chuckling a little bit. However, he stopped as the girl's brother pulled her away. Although, part of him found it even more amusing that she was actually asking for his help. Hey, maybe he'd get her to hang around him or something if he helped, it'd certainly be more interesting than listening to Renna's attempts to get into India's pants. However, Anta went and like, totally screwed any chance of him helping.

Shrugging his shoulders, Dain decided to simply roll with it rather than deny it. Anyone could see that he really had been looking at Dawn, so there was no point in trying to cover it up. Holding his axe with one hand, he placed one hand on Anta's shoulders. "You know, I really appreciate you trying to help out, buuuuut" he said, before shoving Anta to the side. "Nobody really gives a shit who you are" Dain said, patting her on the head as you would a dog as he stepped past. It wasn't hard enough to cause her to fall over, but it was enough he was able to push past her and stand in front of her. Facing Dmitri now, he tried to look as calm as he possibly could. "Hey there. Don't listen to the green-haired girl, she's delusional. I mean, I was checking out your captive there, but how is she going to learn she can't fight if she doesn't get her butt kicked once in a while? Come on, let her try, it'll be funny" Dain said, encouraging Dawn's release in his own unique way.

    Pokemon Gijinka: Ditto
    Nickname: Dudunter
Favorite Moves: Blast Burn, Shadow Ball, Hydro Pump, and Fly

    However, he only knows Transform
    Nature: Naughty
    Age: Twenty Years
Bio: Awakening in a test tube, Dudunter was the failed attempt to replicate Mew. They saw it as a failure, he saw it as the biggest success known to poke-man. They hadn't created Mew, but they had created the best pokemon to ever exist; Dudunter. Breaking out of the test tube by using nothing but his awesomeness and sheer skill, he began his escape in the most epic kung fu fighting scene you've ever seen.

Okay, that's not quite how it happened. All he did was transformed into the appearance of one of the scientists and walked out. But hey, don't tell anyone you heard that, okay?
Once free, Dudunter embarked on a quest to be the very best, like no one ever was. To fight them was his real test, to destroy them was his cause. He would travel across the land, searching far and wide, so that he could understand the power that was inside, and force others to witness that awesome power too.

Hunter rolled his eyes as Gwen tried to convince him to let her stay. There was no way he was going to stop trying to send her back. He'd put up with her in one rp, and even with him being able to follow from behind, the view had most certainly not been worth all the trouble he went through. And now she thought he was going to go through it again? The girl was nuts. Once she moved onto Beuce, he began frantically moving his arms to get Beuce's attention and was shaking his head.

"Don't do it Beuce! You give her the tiniest bit of attention, and she won't leave you alone! I complimented her ass and she followed me here, she even started breaking the wall to follow me. You might think it's awesome having her follow you, but her body gets boring after a while, and just think of all the females that won't want to talk to you, because they'll just know that you interacted with...a ginger" Hunter said, saying the words quietly so as to enforce his point. Where he came from, gingers were soul-less creatures that had all kinds of diseases and thought they could get away with everything.

Oh wait, he came from there.

    Oh yeah, it still applied!

The meeting kinda sucked for Dane, to say the least. The legend was stated and people started talking, but not a single person was dead. Not even someone in pain, hell the closest thing to it was the green haired girl and the blue haired guy having their conversation, and even then it was just on the verge of tears, not outright crying! Dane snickered a little bit when Lexcifur, Zavion, and Freya all began whispering into each others' ears. "You three need to get a room and quit whispering sensually into each others' ears. If we're going to find the hero, you're going to need someone who is going to kick some serious ass. Someone that will keep you safe, because we wouldn't want the widdle kiddies to get scared of their own shadows and run home to mommy, would we?" Dane asked, deliberately insulting them. "Someone like-"

    "I'll go"

Juliet volunteered herself. Dane made her a little on edge. He didn't seem like the kind of guy that had everyone's interests in mind, but rather his own. She barely knew him, but already she was questioning on whether or not he was truly trying to save the worlds from Sapphire. So, the fact that he wanted to go with her children couldn't end well. Juliet recognized all three of them. She hadn't seen them for many, many years, but there was no doubt in her mind at all about who they were. The woman had seen them as children, and their faces hadn't faded from her memories. Turning to Caleb, she leaned over and whispered in his ear.

"I don't trust that guy, and I want to find out why Sapphire's children are here. Take Audrey with you, and I don't need to tell you this but keep an eye on her. If anything happens, get both of you out of there" she said quietly.

"Sure, let the woman handle it. The kids look like they could use a good feed, I hope you like sandwiches" Dane said with another snicker. He found the situation all too amusing. "I'll go to the castle then. Creepy castle, possible beasts to murder, could be fun" he stated.

As each of the wizards introduced themselves, Gaius surprisingly paid attention after he got off the table. He nearly hadn't gotten off the table, noticing that Mizuki couldn't count properly. She had mentioned five people, but there were six, which meant that there was a good chance she wouldn't be able to count to two. However, he decided not to chance it, and instead focused on what was being said around him. Most things that were said didn't bother him in the slightest, although one thing in particular stood out. "The job never mentioned any spirits. I was going to beat up some dark guild members, not come along to mess around with spirits! What happened to that?" Gaius complained, clearly upset at missing an opportunity to get into a bit of a fight. He loved fighting, sometimes a little too much, so the idea of not being able to do one at all wasn't a pleasant one whatsoever.

The young mage sighed after his short outburst. Well, there wasn't much he could do about it. The description wasn't accurate, but he'd still made a commitment to helping the client out, and Gaius never went back on a promise, at least not when he could help it. "Well, at least we get to fight some spirits, so it's not a complete waste. You other guilds can go back home, we've got this covered. Once those spirits get a taste of my magic, they'll be leaving you this place alone, you'll see" Gaius said, cocky smirk stuck on his face as he did so.

As Skadi walked up the stairs inside the home, she couldn't help but notice the scar on Silvia. It didn't look as though it had happened recently, but in the location it was in..whatever caused it must have hurt. Was that the reason the girl seemed so paranoid, so timid? Skadi would have to ask her about it later. She made the decision not to try to force answers from her, or even ask repeatedly, but instead to leave the decision to Silvia about whether or not she would trust her enough. They didn't know each other very well, but being in a guild meant they were family, so she would have to see how it goes. The girl kept her staff held close to her after Caliborn's warning, but decided to ask the woman about things a little more. "And if you don't mind me asking, how long do you think the curse has been in effect for?" Skadi asked, adding onto Jack's question.

Gexln's entire body moved with the force of the slap Xero had given, but his feet stayed in the spot they had been in. He made no attempt to get out of the way, or to block it at all. He knew that he deserved the slap, and he had taken it willingly. He wished he didn't have to say things like that, that he didn't have to do things the way he was doing them, but there wasn't much of a choice in his mind. Yet again, he had been dragged into something he didn't want to be a part of, and yet again he was being forced to do things that hurt him deeply. He would have much preferred to be back with Xero at their home, simply living a relatively quiet life, full of the happiness and joy that he found most of the time that he was in her vicinity. That wasn't an option though, not if he truly wanted what was best for her, what would keep her safe.

With a red handprint on the side of his face, Gexln simply stood there for a moment. He did his best to look as though he were exceptionally pissed off, rather than hurting as he was. After a few minutes of nothing but awkward silence, he decided to speak up. "Maybe I do need protection. Maybe going off like this is only going to get me killed. Even if it does, so what? So long as you're safe, nothing else matters. I don't care whether I need it or not, I'm not accepting it" the Nobody said in an incredibly serious yet negative tone.

Turning his back to Xero, he held out his hand and opened a dark corridor. There were a few places he knew of that were possibilities of places that the rebellion could take place. There were many worlds, but there were only so many that were completely deserted. If you were going to start a rebellion, you wouldn't do it where people already lived just in case they opposed the cause, so it only made sense. If he could find out where just one of the rebels were, he could find them all. He couldn't do it with Xero around though, his emotions played with his mind far too much to be able to concentrate.

"Yeah, I've messed up pretty badly. I killed people I cared about, I've caused myself and others more pain than you can possibly imagine, and no matter what I do, I can't forget about it. I chose to do those things, I'm not giving you the chance to make that same mistake. You're too important to me, I won't let you become like this" he said, his voice quiet enough that Xero would be able to hear it easily, but he was by no means speaking loudly. Slowly, he stepped into the dark corridor, not willing to show Xero the tears in his eyes that threatened to reveal what he was feeling on the inside.

Gexln couldn't believe what he was hearing. Of all times Xero was choosing to bring that up, she'd chosen then? It fit with the topic, but what gave her the bright idea that as her husband was preparing to go to war it was a brilliant idea to start yelling at him and making a huge fuss over everything? "You can fight on your own, but you can't do it safely! How many injuries did I get last time because I had to step in and take the hit for you? How many near-death experiences did I have because of you? You're a skilled fighter, Xero, but that's not enough! You can't just run in swinging your scythe and expecting people to drop dead near you, you have to be careful about it!" he said, raising his voice as he progressively got more and more annoyed.

If he kept going, he took a huge risk. If it worked like he planned, it would hurt Xero but she'd pull out and go back to Sapphire. She could hate him all she wanted, but so long as she was safe that was all that mattered. If it didn't go to plan, she might even be more motivated to follow him and prove him wrong, but he couldn't allow that. He took a deep breath. "You're extremely reckless. If you keep following me, you're going to end up picking a fight with the wrong guy and getting yourself killed, don't you see that, Xero? I'm trying to protect you because you need protecting! Have you forgotten how you became a Nobody? Roe was just as reckless as you're being now, and look at how that ended up! Are you going to find some other seeker of darkness and get possessed by them too? Listen to me, and go back!" the Wanderer of the Dark yelled out, saying whatever he could to get her to actually listen and leave.

Hunter sat in a chair. His pride was hurting, but not as much as his nether-region was. He wondered why they called it that. Was it because people 'nether' went there? He was a comedic genius, everyone laughed at that joke, right? Regardless, if it was called it because of that, then it was inaccurate. Gwen went there all the time. Unfortunately it wasn't in the way he would like, but rather her constantly insulting it and, as he had newly discovered, twisting it like some demonic siren that loved destroying any chance at having a family. Hunter wanted kids, too. How else was he going to raise his dwarven army against the world?

"My name is Hunter. Nothing else, I swear I don't have a first or last name. Just Hunter. As for what we do...well, I have an idea. How about we take all the ginger women in this library, and push them somewhere else?" Hunter suggested, eager to get Gwen back to her own RP as soon as possible. His dwarven army depended on it.

Dane was also sitting in a chair. Damn they were conveniently placed, almost as though some otherworldly power had put them in the perfect place for a meeting. He had barely listened to people talking, hadn't paid much attention to what was going on, but when they asked what was to be done next, Dane felt the need to have some kind of input. "Here's an idea" he said, looking at Hunter. "First of all, we should completely ignore your suggestion. It's a stupid one, from a stupid person" Dane insulted. He could see the look of rage on Hunter's face, but he very much doubted he'd get up and attack him with the injury to his crotch. It was a shame, there hadn't been nearly enough killing lately.

"Alright, secondly, you losers want to find this hero, right? Do any of you actually know this legend? Or are we just going to assume this hero is going to magically show up? It doesn't look like he's in here does it? Damn, how did I get stuck with you guys? Let's go find some rich and powerful guy, they always know things. We can beat it out of him, use his family as hostages or something until he tells us what he wants, then we can get rid of them all in one swoop. Genius idea, right? Right" he said, answering his own question before anybody had the chance to.

At that comment, Caleb stood up from where he'd been seated. "My name's Caleb Stitem. This is Juliet, and our daughter Audrey" he said, motioning to the two as he spoke. "And we will not be taking hostages. If you even try, you're going to be cut down before you can blink. We're trying to save the worlds, we're trying to get peace again, we're not trying to start a war or get innocent people killed" he growled at Dane. He gestured towards the shelves around them. "Look where we are, we're in a library. Surely there has to be some kind of text here that could tell us more about this legend. I say we look for it" he suggested.

Gexln was visibly shocked. He'd been swinging Darkness' Sorrow, practicing, trying to get used to its weight once more. It was a lot easier than he had thought it would be, the muscle memory miraculously remaining there after three hundred years of not using the blade. The last thing he had expected was for his wife to follow him, as was shown by his body tensing up and his movements stopping the second he heard her voice. Slowly, he lowered the blade so that it was pointing at the ground, and he turned around to face Xero.

At first, Gexln was impressed that she'd come despite him demanding she stay behind. It reminded him exactly of how she would have reacted back then. Unfortunately, because of that very memory he immediately felt anger coursing through his body. "I told you to stay there" he said, taking a few steps forward. "Do you think I said it for fun? Xero, what do you think it would do to me if you got hurt because of me? You think this is some kind of game? This is dangerous Xero! Go back and stay with Sapphire until it's over" he said simply, irritation easily heard in his voice.

Gaius just stood there in shock. His plan had actually worked, Thomas had agreed. "Uh...thanks, but I'm sure once they see me fight, I'll have plenty. Maybe even more than you, yeah?" Gaius responded, his mood lifting at the idea of having an actual punching bag. Cocky grin showing once again, he decided to speak. "Just stick with me, and we'll be the best team in no time, you'll see" the boy said.

The most manly labyrinth (mysterious as the dark side of the moon)
Gaius was getting kinda bored. He had imagined the mission to be much more simple than what it was. When he'd signed up, he had thought that it would be a simple matter of 'hey there's the bad guys, go get them' but he couldn't have been further from the truth. He had signed up for what seemed to be a plain old meeting. He paid attention, but damn it was difficult. As Mikasa mentioned avoiding breaking things, he casually leaned to the side against the vase that was on there. It looked stable enough, right? Wrong. It fell to the ground with a shatter, and Gaius just stood there, frozen in shock for a moment. "We won't break a thing, except that one. That's the one thing I'm going to break, promise" he said sheepishly.

Once they were inside the meeting room, he was amazed that Thomas jumped up onto the table. Amazed and annoyed. He had totally stolen his thing. Well, he wasn't going to be outdone by some desperate pervert, not if he could help it. Leaping up onto the table, he landed directly onto the table, sending papers on there flowing around the room with the effort he put into the landing. "What my friend here meant to say, is that it is in fact me that is the greatest wizard of them all!" he said, before patting him on the back and saying a quick "Thanks Thomas".

He then gave a mock bow, and upon standing up straight once again he went on to do the most amazing introduction ever. "But hey, what kinda grand wizard would I be without a kickass team, right? Behind me stands a brilliant team. We have Charlotte, the girl that appears fragile, but takes a hit better than any of the other guys in the team. Then there's Veilen, the guy that I'm sure does something, but we haven't quite figured it out yet! We also have Thomas, our resident ladies man capable of striking out as many times as you wish your least favourite baseball team did. Last, but certainly not least, we have Ra, our beautifully adorned mascot and leader, who speaks with fancy words so that you know he knows his ****" he said, before stopping for a moment to let the awesome sink in. He then opened his mouth once again. "And I am Gaius Ryan, the guy that's going to drag their butts along and make us the best team ever! Oh yeah, on the sidelines there's also Mikasa!" he said, pointing at the actual Mikasa. Fortunately, he remembered the plan, even if it was a minute later. Shaking his head and waving his hands, he attempted to fix it. "I mean, that's not Mikasa! This person is Mikasa!" the boy said, now pointing at Mizuki instead. Damn he was a genius, he almost gave everything away.

Gaius pulled forwards, trying to break free of Ra's grip. He was swinging his fists in front of him, swiping at the air as he tried to reach Thomas. "Let me go! Let go of me!" he growled, still trying to get free. After a few moments he stopped pulling towards Thomas and stood straight. He was released by Ra, and immediately his first thought was to jump onto Thomas once more, but he resisted the urge. "She ain't my girlfriend, she's Caleb's. Now quit saying it before I knock you flat onto your ass" Gaius said. "I'll be part of the team. It'll be way stronger with me on it, and there's no way I'm going to be kept out of a team with a golden bird as our mascot!" the boy stated enthusiastically.

However, there was one issue. Thomas. He stepped in front of Thomas and pulled his arm back, as though he was going to punch him, but instead he extended his arm and held out his hand. "You sure you won't rethink being on this team? If we become the strongest team, girls are going to worship you. You will be like a god to them. You won't even have to hit on them, they're just going to want to be around you" he said, trying to convince Thomas to join. He didn't like the guy, but at least he knew how to take a punch. Besides, maybe if he was on the team, him and Gaius would actually get to be friends, and if that happened Gaius had a free training dummy.

"Sounds like a curse, yeah. The poor girl must be terrified! When can we leave?" Skadi asked. Despite not knowing the cursed girl, Skadi was concerned for her well-being. She could only imagine how terrified she herself would be if there was a curse on her, let alone how a young girl would be. The sooner that she went and helped remove the curse, the better.

Well, it would help keep him alive, but in my personal opinion the fact he doesn't really get many defensive abilities until later on just enforces the idea that he's a squishy mage lol

    Child's play

Skadi yawned as she walked into the guild hall. She hadn't slept particularly well, and so the girl was extremely tired. Skadi's night had consisted of trying to get some sleep but failing, then staring at the door as though she was just daring that creep to come back so she could ice him, followed by rolling over and getting maybe an hour's sleep before the cycle began all over again. It had been a very tiring, restless slumber, to say the least. Slowly, she walked over to the job request board, and was somewhat surprised to see Gaius standing in front of it, looking at the jobs themselves. "Hey, Gaius! I never got to congratulate you for yesterday. I knew you could win, you were great!" Skadi exclaimed, clearly happy for her friend.

    Mysterious Labyrinth
    [IMG]
Gaius had slept like a rock. Uninterrupted sleep, completely comfortable in his new bed. There hadn't been too much interaction between people, or at least none that he could remember, and that was sort of disappointing for him. He'd been looking forward to getting to know the people there, but he had shrugged it off and gone to sleep, figuring there was plenty of time for that in the future. After all, he was part of the guild now, and that meant he was part of something as close to a family as you could get. Apparently he'd slept too well though, being one of the last people to wake up. In just a few minutes, the boy had quickly gotten dressed, put on his scarf once again, and raced to the job request board. He didn't want to miss out on getting a good job, so he ran as fast as he could. There he had stood, looking at all the jobs and wondering which one he wanted to go on. The labyrinth one sounded like he'd be able to give a good beat down on some dark guild members, so that one stood out to him. As he had decided, Skadi had approached him and congratulated him on winning.

Flashing a friendly grin, Gaius looked in her direction and gave a quick thumbs up. "Of course I was! The others fought really well, the girl nearly had me, but there was no way I was going to let myself lose on the first day" Gaius replied confidently.

"Right. Oh yeah, you wouldn't happen to know anything about a boy being sent to the wrong dorm, would you?" Skadi asked, the expression on her face saying it all; she already knew the answer.

Gaius nodded his head slowly. There was no point in lying to Skadi, not that he would even if he could get away with it. "I sent the creepy guy there, I figured it'd be a good laugh. Was it?" the fire mage asked, genuinely curious.

"No it was not a good laugh! The guy came in and began flirting with me while I was getting dressed! He made it seem like it was some kind of game, like he was entitled to any woman he wants!"

    "He WHAT?!"

"Yeah! Think about that next time you plan on sending him to the wrong dorm!" Skadi said, clearly annoyed with Gaius. She took a quick glance at the job board, decided on which one she wanted to go on, and then she went and walked over to Caliborn. "Skadi Wynter, signing up for the job. I've never worked with curses before, but if a child needs help I'm more than happy to help in any way I can" the ice mage said, signing up.

"Well geez, sorry Skadi.." Gaius said, clearly not knowing what to say as Skadi walked away. He felt bad now, he hadn't planned on things going so horribly. Gaius had thought people would have found the whole thing hilarious, but now not even he found it funny. With a sigh, Gaius walked over to Mikasa. "Looks like you get to go on a job with me. Let's beat up some dark guild mem-" he began, before he saw who else had signed up for it. "You" he growled, stepping closer to Thomas. "Pervert!" he shouted, diving forwards, tackling Thomas to the ground, and punching him a couple of times in the face.

Gexln stepped out of the dark corridor, arriving at the keyblade graveyard. Three hundred years had passed between the last time he'd been there and that moment, but he remembered exactly where he'd put it. The Nobody got walking, each step full of both eagerness and dread. He missed using the blade as he had all those years ago, it was as much a part of him as any of his body parts, but at the same time he had left behind the blade for a reason. His sword had been used to cut many foes down, some of them which were once his closest friends, and reminded him of the past.

His past, which was full of more suffering and hurt than most people would experience in their whole lifetime, had refused to leave him. Leaving behind the sword after slaying the god Chaos had relieved him of that pain, of that suffering, to an extent. The day he had left his sword behind had been the day he had made the decision to move on, and yet he found himself thinking about it more than ever as he stood in front of the weapon he had once wielded. Could he do it again? Could he use the darkness, as he once had? Or would it consume him? The thought terrified him, but the alternative was far worse. If he couldn't wield it, if he gave into the darkness, he would be lost in a world that was pitch black as the darkness used his body for whatever it so desired, and that meant he would be left in a world of nothingness. A soundless world, of which the only feeling he would feel was constant failure, a world without Xero.

And yet, he had to try. If he gave into the dark, so be it, but if he didn't even try then he wouldn't be the only one to lose a loved one, but there was a chance that if the rebellion did indeed replace Sapphire that many more would lose those that they cared about. He made his decision. Stepping forward, Gexln grabbed onto the hilt of the blade. The grip was familiar and pleasant, but the instant his hand connected with the weapon, images began flashing before his eyes of the people he had failed to protect, from the dangers of the worlds as well as from Gexln himself. Tears appeared in his eyes, tears of pain and anguish, as he closed his eyes and pulled. He was stronger than he had been back then, and so the blade came out easily as the Nobody staggered backwards, not expecting it to come out so easily.

He then stood there for a few minutes, simply thinking, before he gave the sword a good swing in front of him, cutting through the air itself. It felt good, but the burden it had come with did not. The grave at his feet was as good a reminder as any. The grave was the resting place of his friend Kaxar, the girl that had been there for him through everything, and the girl that had died trying to save him. Emotions surging through Gexln like a free-flowing river, he opened his mouth and yelled out. "The past can haunt me all it wants. Their pain, the pain I caused, will be my strength. You can take me if you want, darkness, but I'm not going to stop until every one of the people trying to ruin the life I fought for lays dead at my feet!" the man shouted, a grim tone to the words he spoke.

Things just kept getting worse and worse for Hunter. First, some wannabe timelord came out of a fourth wall TARDIS and tried to act like he was the king of everything, which he clearly wasn't, then of all people Gwen had to follow him, and finally Captain Rainbow decided to try and advance the plot without Hunter's permission. Who the hell did everybody think they were?

Hunter stepped up in front of Gwen and pointed at the TARDIS that Beuce had come out of. "Ginger, I know that you're like, in love with me and all, and I can't blame you...I mean, have you looked at me lately? Dang, I'm one handsome guy. But really, you're messing with things you can't comprehend. You might think you're all smart and stuff, hopping around from RP to RP and trying to break the fourth wall, but you'll never be able to do it. Archery's your thing, everything else is mine. Face it, I'm better than you at everything else, so you should just quit while your ass is enough to save you. Sooner or later, I'm going to find someone else's ass more fine than yours, and then," Hunter said, sliding his finger across his throat, "you're toast. Actually, you're just dead, if you turned into toast because of that, I'd be creeped out. Hell, I'd still eat you though. Go into that TARDIS thingo that Cocky over there stepped out of, and get back to Bloodlust" Hunter said, beginning to get slightly off-topic but finding his way back somehow.

He then turned around and looked at the others. "Ignore that guy, he doesn't know what he's talking about. You don't want to go in there, do you? Are you all like dogs on a leash, being pulled along like stupid-ass little toddlers? Of course you are, you can't overcome the wall, but that isn't my point. You need to try (and fail) to break free and be your own character! Now, make your own decisions and then follow me!" Hunter ordered, turning and walking inside after Lucien, the rest of Glen's characters simply shrugging their shoulders, giving a confused look, and then following him inside anyway.

Gexln listened to every word that was said. He might have had a severe dislike for most of the people there, even hated them, but he wasn't an idiot. He knew that it was important that he paid attention. However, he didn't make eye contact with any of them, not even Xero at first. Over the hundreds of years Gexln had been alive and with Xero, he had slowly gotten more and more protective of his family. That only made things worse when Lucifer, his son, had been executed. He'd committed a crime, but Gexln believed he should have been given a second chance. His son hadn't been the same since that day, and Gexln blamed himself for it. Had he been a better father, there was a chance Lucifer could have kept his heart.

He knew the pain, and despite Lucifer returning as a Nobody, part of him still did and always would hate Sapphire for what she did, R for giving her the power to do it, and Satsujin for not even trying to stop it. The pain, despite first showing itself a couple of hundred years ago, was still as fresh as the day it had appeared. And now they expected to drag both himself and, more importantly, Xero into another war? After losing so many people in the first and only war Gexln had been in, they were expecting him to just go along and put the woman he loved in danger again? No way, it wasn't going to happen.

Gexln was ready to outright say no, to tell Sapphire that he was going to have no part in the problem she had caused, but that's when he felt Xero's hand tighten around his. He turned to look at her and immediately wished she hadn't. Her eyes were tearing up, she was on the verge of crying, and one thing that the Wanderer of the Dark couldn't handle was knowing how sad she was. He let go of her hand and took a step away from her.

"I want to see our son again too, but how are we going to see him if we're dead ourselves? Do you remember what happened the last time we got involved with something like this? Do any of you remember? We didn't just get physical scars and bruises, we got emotional ones too, ones that can never be healed. We lost people, we lost friends back then. I'm not going to do it again, I'm not going to put us through that, I...I can't lose you Xero!" Gexln cried out, clearly terrified of the idea of getting involved once again. "I won't lose you!" he finished.

He turned away for a minute, and took a huge, deep breath before releasing a massive sigh. His thoughts were clouded, as they had been for a few years, since he slowly started slipping. It was influencing his decision making, and he had to think clearly, if he could. As much as he hated to admit it, they were right. Regardless of what they had done, no matter how much he hated Sapphire and R, they were telling the truth and Gexln knew it. If he didn't help, many more than just those that had died three hundred years ago would be killed, and it would be his fault. Part of him didn't care and almost wanted to watch, but part of him felt the need to protect them. Letting out another sigh, he turned to look at Xero. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell. It's just..it's all bringing back so many memories, memories I thought I'd left behind. Just...just please don't be sad" he said quietly, before switching his gaze to Sapphire. "As far as I'm concerned, you can go back to whatever hell you crawled out of. Any friendship we had died with Lucifer, and it's not coming back. I'll help, but I'm not doing it for you, I'm doing it for Xero and Lexcifur" he explained.

He then turned his back to them and stepped towards the door. "And I'm doing it alone. Xero, I love you as I always have, and I don't see that dying anytime soon. I'm not myself, and I'm going somewhere incredibly dangerous, so I'd prefer it if you stayed here, safe with them. To the rest of you, make sure she doesn't walk through that door" he said, before opening a dark corridor in front of himself and stepping through. If he was going to fight, he was going to need a blade, and he knew just where to find one.

Glen barely paid attention to what Minnie was saying. It was probably something extremely important, but he was in the attic of a princess, who knew what kinda stuff she had up there? He had been looking a lot of the time, but he was yet to find something. Mostly just old books and trinkets of sorts, nothing interesting to him. He was about to continue looking, when he became aware of something terrible: his neck was suspiciously cool. He felt around there, and noticed immediately that his scarf was missing.

Going into a slight panic, Glen began trying to mentally retrace his steps, thinking when he could have possibly put it down somewhere. Of course, the stairs! When he'd fallen down it, it must have come loose and fallen off. He took off quickly, leaping down the staircase down from the attic, racing along the upper floor, and then slid down the rail and landed with a soft thump on the ground where, sure enough, his scarf sat. The boy quickly scooped it up and put it on around his neck once again. He then turned and went to go back up, but a slight shine caught the corner of his eye. It was Ananta's crystal.

The young keyblade wielder walked over to her, trying to make sure that it was in fact Ananta's crystal. He'd heard of the things it could do, but he'd never seen them himself. "That crystal thing around your neck, what's the deal with that? You always seem to have it with you, what's it's purpose?" he asked, curiosity building up in him.
