It was..beautiful. If Glen had known all he had to do to be rid of Karina was encourage her and then she'd vanish forever, he would have been the nicest guy ever. He turned to look at the others there. "Now, I know what you're thinking. We should go after her, we should find out what happened, right? And you're correct, we probably should. But...just think about it for a moment. If we turn around and go find Hikaru, we can tell him Karina got magicked away and we have no way of finding her. It was a bright, golden light, it doesn't look evil to me, so I'm sure she'll be fine" Glen said, doing his best to convince them to turn around and act like it had never happened. However, if Karina was gone, his chances of getting revenge had lowered. He mentally weighed up his options. Either he could go after Karina, put up with her shit, and beat the everloving crap out of Vanitas...or he could claim her as dead, move on in life, and have both his chance of vengeance and Karina's shit vanish altogether. God, now that he put it like that, the decision was stupidly easy! Wasting no more time, he turned around and touched the graffiti just as Karina had, and was immediately enveloped in light. He found himself inside the tower again. It felt different somehow, a bit colder, gloomier...like the entire place was some kind of swamp, or there was wa- oh hey, what do you know, there was water everywhere, and it lead up the stairs. It was then that he saw Karina walking up the stairs. Not willing to call out to her in case she turned around and screamed bloody murder on him, the keyblade wielder quietly followed behind, ascending the staircase behind his ally.
Glen departing for symphony of sorcery
Still heavily interested, just sad to see that we'll lose the exp and story progression thus far..

At the response from Alisia, Dane's laughter quietened, but it did not completely stop. He had barely heard the name of the spell the girl had cast, but it was not one to be taken lightly. Glancing up, he saw the familiar numbers, counting down the time he had left before he died. At least, that's how it seemed to work when used on others. He had never cast it himself, but he had manipulated others into doing the work for him long, long ago. Ah what fun that had been. He whistled quietly. "Been a while since I've seen that one. I think the last time was cast by a woman. It was cast by your mother, shortly before I killed her and destroyed the homeworld. I can still hear her screams, echoing in the background of my head. Gotta have some cheerful, pleasant-sounding music to listen to as I play executioner don't I?" Dane taunted, completely making up that he knew her mother. He'd never met this girl before, so there wasn't a way- oh, no time for going into an internal monologue, doom counter. Casually, the shadow reaper brandished his scythe, sitting it on the ground next to him. "I suppose you think that I'm some kinda sick, twisted guy who just wants to watch the worlds burn, right?" he asked. He then made his move. In an instant, he dashed next to the girl and leaned in close to her ear. "Well, you're right" he whispered, before he took a short step back, swung his scythe up and towards the girl's neck, and overshot it deliberately, knocking the girl out with the pole of the scythe and causing the spell to disappear. About seven seconds after Hunter died, his body vanished and reappeared in Disney Castle, shortly before a green light enveloped him and he was resurrected not as a poro, but as his awesome self. Stretching a little bit, the man tried to recall what had happened. "Oh, right. I got killed by a pebble. Funny, I don't recall being turned into a pig" he said, scratching his head as he wondered why that particular pebble had worked on him. Bacon was awesome, he was awesome, so maybe it got confused...well, regardless, he had a grand entrance to make. Reaching forward, Hunter would have looked strange to any onlookers as though he was trying to grab some kind of invisible object. They wouldn't have been far off it if they'd thought that, either. In a few short moments, he had found it. The Wall. Tearing a hole in it, Hunter squished his body together and crawled through it. As he got further into the hole, he remembered the rules of the world; he had to transform. The very second his body got through the hole and arrived in the pride lands, he found his body twisting and morphing back into the small poro. "No no no no...no" the man said. "**** adorableness, I want to be able to do something" he complained, ordering the world to change him into a different form. And it did. He was beyond awesome. No longer was he a tiny poro thing, now he was a menacing, buglike, murderous....well, thing. He was well and truly ready to go and kick some ass, and that was exactly what he planned to do. Running and repeatedly leaping until he made his way back to where the others were, he burst out laughing when he saw Gwen. "Oh my god, you caged Ginger!" he exclaimed in between laughter. It was then that he had a realization. "You...you embarassed Ginger. Only i'm allowed to do that!" he yelled, before diving towards Eigo with murderous intent.
Skadi raced downstairs after the others, expecting the worst. As she arrived, she was in shock. She'd expected something pretty bad, but a flaming demon thing wasn't what she had in mind. "If we beat this, the curse should be lifted. From my knowledge, they don't tend to go down easily though" she said. The girl focused on the situation at hand, knowing that if they were to beat the spirit, there would be no room for holding back. As she focused, she held out her hand. Her hand began glowing a pale blue, before a small chunk of ice appeared and launched itself at the creature before them. Skadi used Blizzard!
The rock went flying through the air, thrown with tremendous force despite the attacker being a hyena. As an enormous shadow appeared over Hunter, he knew it was time. Slowly the small creature looked up, the expression on his face saying it all; Hunter genuinely believed he was going to be fine. With a shrewd, high pitched battlecry, the poro leaped up with all the strength in his little legs and attempted to break the rock with nothing but his sheer awesomeness and thick skull. Women had been telling him for years nothing would get through his thick skull, and now was the time to prove them right! Time seemed to slow as Hunter collided with the huge rock. Unfortunately, even in his last moments Hunter still could not allow women to defeat him in an argument, and so the rock crushed the tiny creature, leaving a small bloody corpse on the ground underneath a small boulder. Xero had murdered Hunter.
Dane simply stood there for a moment, listening to what Alissia was saying. He was relatively quiet, something unusual for him, trying to stifle a laugh. Eventually he just gave into it. "Oh that was me! I love destroying homeworlds! It's my second favourite thing to do, next to literally stealing candy from babies!" he exclaimed. "Tell me that was you too! ...no? Awwww, alright then. So yeah, destroyed your planet, eradicated your family, bragged about it in front of you, on a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you hate me right now? Anything less than a 10 and I'll add you to the list of people I've killed. Hell, I'll even bury you next to your daddy!" he said, laughing the entire time he spoke. Hunter stopped and turned around slowly. The gods had blessed him. There was another female nearby, he was sure of it. Now there were two, Xero and Ginger. Dawn didn't count because everyone knows she's just a man with boobs, he probably tanked the whole procedure without a word. God, what a showoff. The small poro-bug-thing flew over towards Xero, and when he had confirmed he flew over to a conveniently placed, nearby boulder and landed on it in a dramatic pose. He took a torch out of his inventory and dropped it on the ground behind him, giving off a golden glow behind him. "I AM HIM" he boomed in a sqeaky and utterly adorable voice, much to his disappointment, before he kicked the torch away and looked back at Xero. "Ginger, I finally found one. A creature from another rp, hell another movie franchise even. Hairy pothead or somethin', I think it's called. We gots ourselves...a boggart!" he proclaimed. Picking up a small rock at his feet, he threw it at Xero's feet. "Transform!" he ordered. When nothing happened, he threw another one. "I said transform!" he demanded. Gexln sat there, not turning to look at Sapphire as she spoke. He merely listened, although he really didn't want to. The two of them had once been friends, something Gexln could say about very few people, but that time had passed long ago. When she had taken her son's heart, she had taken any chance of them being friends again with it. Turning his head slightly, he spoke up. "Knowing what I've been through, knowing all the suffering, and knowing how many people I've watched die in front of me that I care about, could you forgive someone who claimed to be a friend, only to add another to the list of loved ones lost?" he asked quietly. His tone conveyed not a sense of anger, but one of sadness, disappointment even. He then resumed his sitting there for a good few minutes, the silence speaking volumes about how little Gexln was willing to try to move on. He knew that it only increased the speed at which the darkness took him, but he didn't care. In his mind, the moment he forgave her was the moment he condemned another person he cared about to death, and he was running out of those. Maybe she would finish their son off, or maybe...no. If she even thought about harming Xero, then goddess or not she would die. He'd killed a god before, he wasn't afraid of trying to do so again. The Wanderer of the Dark stood up and took the orb from Sapphire. "I'll keep it safe" he said. Another moment of silence passed before he continued. "I don't hate you, I hate the goddess you became and the way the power went to your head. The old Sapphire would have figured something out to keep her friend's son intact, the new was the one that condemned him. I'll stop the rebellion because I promised I would, but had you not told me of them before I found out myself, I would've been spearheading the attempt to dethrone you. The people were right to rebel, it'll be another sin added to my collection when I kill them for it" he said bitterly before opening another dark corridor and stepping through.
I am so doing this!
Glen was still a little annoyed with Hikaru's discovery, but on some level he was pleased they were making progress. He had been proven wrong, and that really sucked, but so long as Yen Sid's killer was found and people were protected, that was all that mattered. He just hoped that nothing happened to tear him away from that area so he could help, but what were the chances of that, right? Only seconds after that thought, he felt a strong tug on the back of his shirt. He turned his head to see that it was Karina dragging him away. What could she want with him? Was she about to turn on friendly fire and murder him? He turned to look at Steel, the person he'd been standing closest to there, and only got the chance to mouth the words 'help me' before he was dragged away and out of the house.\ Along the way, Glen managed to shake himself free, but decided to continue onwards, somewhat curious as to where he was being taken. Even as he decided to go along with it, Karina still wouldn't let go of him. What was so important that her determination was this strong? He got his answer a short walk later. He was taken to a graffiti spot, and it looked almost like the one that Hikaru had found. Karina started speaking, and three times the boy opened his mouth to speak, but all three times he was interrupted by Karina. He waited for a moment, arms crossed, as though he expected her to continue, and then gave a somewhat scolding look. "Am I allowed to speak now?" he asked. "You know what, Karina? You-" he started, before pausing. Did he really want to yell at her some more, risk losing one of the strongest (physically, certainly not emotionally) people they had helping them? It was probably a bad idea. Swallowing his pride, Glen looked down at the ground and released a mental sigh. A minute went by where not a word was spoken by him, before he broke that silence. "You..you've done a good job. Keep up the good work" he said, having to practically force the words out of his mouth.
Glen had been sitting there quietly, simply waiting for people to come to their senses, convinced he was completely and absolutely right on it being a waste of time to search the town. As D'daear had spoken up about Steel being right, Glen stood up. "Steel might be right, I might be wrong, but look at the facts here. Where is there any ink or other evidence to suggest the mouse is here? There hasn't been any word of Mickey being here, according to Minnie, so do would you rather waste your time searching for someone who isn't here, or go and actually stop this person that stoned Yen Sid? Face it, it's a terrible idea" he said simply, crossing his arms as he spoke, somewhat satisfied that he had made his point. A moment later, he heard Hikaru calling out, and with nothing better to do, he ran over to see what he was calling out to them for. The boy stopped quickly when he got close to the marking on the wall. His mouth was one of shock and almost disappointment. This one marking had just ruined his entire argument, had made him look like an idiot, and worse than that, it had made him wrong. Turning around quickly, a book that had fallen onto the ground became a victim of circumstance as Glen kicked it in an attempt to vent his anger, yelling out "damnit!" as he did so.
Would like to cast my vote toward Karina for October, and D'daear for November.
Gexln emerged from the dark corridor in Sapphire's throne room once more. He walked over towards her, and stopped a few meters away from the goddess. "I asked one thing of you, Sapphire. All I wanted was Xero's safety, to not involve my family in your mess, and you couldn't do that? First you take my son, and then you try to take my wife?" he asked, bitterness evident in his voice. He then turned and sat on the ground, still just a short distance from Sapphire. "I don't know what I'm meant to do anymore. Every day the darkness within me gets stronger, gets a little closer to gaining complete control, and I can't even tell the one closest to me. She's probably picked up on it anyway, but I don't think she knows just how bad it's gotten. It's screwing with everything, Sapphire, and it only sped up the moment you took Lucifer's heart" he said, still keeping the same tone. He sighed now, not sure of how to proceed. "You're the goddess, you're meant to keep things like this in check, but I don't think even you could do anything about it, not that I'd let you try anyway" the Wanderer of the Dark stated, before standing up and turning to face his former friend. "I need you to do a couple of things for me. I don't know how much longer I'm going to last, and I don't want Xero's last memories of me to be the ******* I've become. I need you to take certain memories inside my head and put them in something that Xero could hold onto, to remember me when I'm eventually gone. Shouldn't be a problem for you, right? The other thing is a bit more simple than that. When I lose myself completely, I want you to...I need you to bring me down. I don't care what you have to do or how you do it, but under no circumstances can I be allowed to live. If you do these two things for me, then I'll stop this rebellion before it even begins" he said, a very serious tone to his voice as he spoke. Dane Erapper had made his way through the castle, barely looking in any of the rooms as he walked through them. The hero could be there, there was a possibility, but if he was, was he likely to be hiding inside a box, or inside a book? None at all. He'd be standing there, probably talking about how heroic he is, how many worlds he has saved, or how many times he has saved a life. You know, heroic stuff and all that crap. Dane couldn't help but chuckle a little at that thought. The hero sounded almost like the complete opposite of Dane really. Were it him, he wouldn't be talking about all the good he's done, what was the point of telling somebody a story that lasted about three seconds? Dane would be talking about how much of an ass he was, how many worlds he'd destroyed, or how many lives he had taken. In the midst of his thoughts, the Shadow Reaper walked into a room that seemed more void of life than most of the others had. The other rooms had contained books, shelves, and every now and then a piece of very old furniture, maybe a suit of armour or two, but this one was different. This one had an old, dead fireplace, and furniture scattered around that made it look as though it hadn't been used in a very long time and had been abandoned long ago. He noticed that Alissia was standing there, reading a book. Once again, he found himself wondering what the point of looking inside of it was. If they were going to find the hero, they'd need to do more than sit down and read a book. Walking over, Dane stepped over to the girl. "Oh my god would you look at that? You've found the hero! What a genius idea it was to sit here and read rather than look in other places!" he said in mock excitement, before snatching the book and peering inside of it himself. His face changed to an expression of mock disappointment, as he opened his mouth to talk again. "Awww, looks like it was just a dusty old book after all. I guess you're just wasting your time huh?" he said, placing the book on a chair with a slight snicker. "What do you think you're going to find in a book? You think this hero is going to go missing forever and after all this time nobody has thought to look in a book? While you're reading, the goddess is only going to get more powerful. She'll start going mad with power, killing people and destroying their homeworlds, all because you decided to sit here reading. Hell, she might even beat me on that front, and that'd be embarassing" Dane said, laughing at the end of it in a rather cruel, sick manner before he turned and slowly started walking out of the room, almost hoping Alissia had some kind of reaction. The Hunter poro held one tiny leg out and casually swiped it in front of his nose, waving off any insults Gwen had launched at him. "I ain't gonna kill myself woman. I don't think I could kill myself if I tried, I'm way too tough for that. I'd go to try and do it, and then probably punch myself in the face to stop me, then I'd get into this massive fistfight with me, and this rp would explode because it can't handle that much awesomeness in one battle. You just sit tight and quit worryin' about me, or else you're gonna get wrinkles, and a wrinkly ginger sounds like somethin' you'd see in a freak show at the circus" Hunter said, using his tiny wings to turn and float in the direction the Beuce had conveniently been spun to. "Don't worry about it. If I didn't help, what would your father say? He'd start flinging around big words and make me feel more stupid than my brother" Juliet said, saying the word with obvious dislike of the boy, "looks normally" she said, giving a slight smile as she spoke to Freya, before turning her attention to the bridge that had just been created. It was an impressive feat, to say the least, but she didn't have time to admire it. Not knowing how long the bridge would last, she made her way across it, eager to see what was on the other side.
Gaius nodded. "Alright, so left it is then!" he said simply, before turning down the lefthand path and beginning to walk down the hallway. He hadn't gotten very far before he came to yet another decision. Standing in front of the doors, he contemplated which one he should go and try to open, before deciding to go for the brown door. Skadi followed Silvia, and quickly saw the problems going on. Between Elayne accusing them of being the reason things happened and Silvia breaking down crying and spouting constant apologies, the girl wasn't quite sure how to respond. Putting a reassuring hand on Silvia's shoulders, she tried to force a warm smile and looked right at her. "This isn't your fault. We came here to help her, and we still will" Skadi said before she heard a scream come from the parlour, and immediately took off running towards the sound to investigate.
Gaius frowned just a tiny bit as Ra approached him. However, after Ra had finished speaking, Gaius' anger subsided a little, and his face was an expression of both boredom and disappointment. "Yeah yeah, probably. But does he have to be such an ass about things? Sheesh, you try to be nice to a guy, and he just starts flingin' insults at you. Why does it even bother me? I do fling my fists at anything that moves. I must be goin' nuts. Actually yeah, probably already there. I mean, here I am talking to a guy dressed as a bird, right?" Gaius asked with a laugh, before patting Ra on the back. "I'll try to go easier on him from now on though. We'll never be the strongest team if I make him think less of himself, will we?" he questioned rhetorically before walking past him and back towards Thomas. As he got back, he noticed Mizuki walking and decided to follow her, before shortly finding himself at the crossroad. "Yeeeeeeeah, we could go left, but it wouldn't really get us anywhere would it? Neither of the paths really look normal, but if we take the path on the left we'll just be going around in a giant circle" Gaius stated, giving his suggestion and strangely using more logic than Mizuki had. Clearly the pathways weren't the only things messed up. Skadi gave a warm smile after Silvia's explanation. "So you've always been someone that likes to help others? That's a very admirable quality, Silvia. You shouldn't think of yourself of a disgrace in the slightest, because I'm sure that every person you've ever tried to help thinks of you as a remarkable person, and I doubt the word disgrace ever even came to mind when looking at you. I barely know you, and already I can see that you're a very kind girl. Don't worry about earning your keep, I'm sure you'll fit in just fine with everybody" Skadi said, reassuring Silvia in her own way. She barely responded to Caliborn's words. The girl was prepared to help the family should they need it, but there was no sense worrying about it before it happened, if they got into trouble at all.
Gaius hadn't been all that annoyed before, but he certainly was now. "Never missed? Never missed? Then what the hell was that crap back there? Were you aiming to barely stagger that spirit thing? Damn man, you really need to work on being a team player if that's the case. You didn't get beaten by a heap of spells last night, I was watching you the whole time I was attacking. You got knocked out by a single punch, and then got your ass fried by a few spells" he accused, raising his voice just a little as he spoke. "If you don't want to talk to me, that's fine, I ain't going to force you to. Just remember why we're here. We aren't just here to beat up some spirits, we're actually here to help people, and if you can't suck up your own damn ego and act like a reasonable person, then maybe you joined the wrong guild. We're supposed to be like some kind of family, not acting like we are the best thing to ever grace this earth" Gaius said, letting out a huge sigh of relief at the end of it, before turning his back on Thomas and searching elsewhere.
Skadi Wynter wasn't sure what they were waiting for exactly. Cassandra had said that the spirit would do as Caliborn had instructed, but he had not only failed to actually give any instructions to the residents, but also to take something into account; simply standing outside would result in nothing happening anyway due to them not being able to see inside. The only way that Skadi could imagine them seeing inside was to look through the window, but that was something she would not do. Having to sneak around, having to pretty much eavesdrop on what was going inside would probably yield results, but it was dishonest. What kind of message would that send to all their clients that put out the jobs? 'We'll get the job done, but we'll be sneaky as hell and act suspiciously while we do it'? It was hardly the way to give their guild a good reputation. Shrugging the thought off, Skadi walked over and sat on the ground next to Silvia. As she sat, out of the corner of her eye she saw Silvia's scar once again, and for the second time she found herself wondering what the story behind it was. "Silvia, we might not know each other very well yet, but I have to ask; is there a story behind that scar? I understand if you don't want to talk about it. If it's something you aren't comfortable with discussing, just say the word and I'll stop asking, I just feel as though it would be better to get to know each other, seeing as how we're roommates" Skadi said, unsure of how exactly to word her question. "Fist flinging jock?!" Gaius exclaimed, somewhat offended that Thomas had made him sound like almost a thug. Racing after him, he momentarily forgot about the spirits as he caught up to him. Skidding to a stop, he pulled back his fist and prepared to give him a swift jab to the stomach, until he realized that that would prove Thomas right. That thought caused him to place his arm against his side instead. "I'm not a fist flinging jock at all! What are you bitter because I beat you? Because you missed that easy shot on the thing you were fighting? Maybe if you spent more time training and less time gawking you'd actually be as good as you think you are" Gaius said, taking a step towards Thomas with each accusation until finally he stood directly in front of him, simply staring at him eye to eye; not necessarily angry but not appearing as friendly as he had been minutes ago.
http://tinypic.com/r/jt5m5x/8 So Gabi, I finally photoshopped 1 pic of Gaius and Britney together :D
Sven considered the girl's offer for a moment. He himself was absolutely fine when it came to equipment. With his spirox power, there was never a time he was unarmed, and he had defences available at any moment due to his bony armour when he chose to use it, so there was no need for that either. However, he wasn't the only one going on the assault, and the one going with him didn't have bones like he did. Sven had no doubt Cierra could handle herself offensively if she had to, but defensively? He wasn't so sure. After a moment of silence, Sven shook his head. "I have all the equipment I need. I won't be buying anything from you. Although.." he said, looking in Cierra's direction. "Cierra, take a look at what she's got. If she has anything that interests you, buy it and I'll give you the money needed for it. Make it quick though, time is of the essence" Sven said simply, making his decision.
After all the spirits were defeated, Gaius went to check on Mikasa after her encounter with the evil door of doom, but it seemed that Mizuki had that covered. "I think that's the first time I've ever heard of a door defeating a high-ranking wizard" Gaius said with a slight laugh, at the risk of pissing off Mikasa. Jokes aside though, there was now a big problem; they'd lost their only lead. The butler hadn't answered their questions earlier, and now he'd run off. The vibe he'd given off earlier suggested he might know something, so that didn't help. "I'm gonna go look for the butler, anyone else want to come with me? If we run into anymore spirits, I'll get to show you that I'm way more dangerous than that door" Gaius said, unable to resist, before he turned and began wandering around the home in an attempt to find Hemlock. While the girl was familiar with curses, Skadi certainly didn't have any experience with the orb whatsoever. It was an interesting device, to say the least. An orb with the power of hypnosis was something she'd never heard of, what kind of magic did that one utilize? Either way, it didn't particularly matter. With no way of knowing what to do next, she followed the others outside and stood on the lawn. She hoped that whatever supernatural entity was inside the house would reveal itself soon. She really didn't like the idea of simply standing there outside for the entire night if it didn't.
