When Faust awoke he found himself completely submerged in water. The last thing he had remembered from before he woke up was setting down next to the main mast of the ship to catch a quick little nap in under the bright summer sun with the nice cool brazes that he found flowed over these strange seas. He might have smelled the sent of a storm brewing in the distance form his slumber or it might have been just a part of his dreams. The only thing he knew was for sure was that he was on the ship when he went to sleep and now he found himself completely encased in a raging current of water dragging him along onto the next chapter of his life. Figuring it would be best for him to just let lady luck guide him once again he made no real attempt of fighting his way to the surface instead just letting it drag him deeper into a blinding light. It was slightly strange way for him to find himself in a new place as he had found but nothing to strange as times he had found himself getting into a new place as he found himself traveling into strange new lands in all strange manner of ways from waking up in crates to finding himself in a prison cell in the past so this wasn't to bad of a way for him to travel. deciding now was the time to surface as the currents had died down Faust began to try and get his barrings. The only point of reference he had was a soft drifting light so he Followed that breaking the surface of a pool in a dimly lit cavern. Seeing a group of armed group of militaristic men gathered on the shore he could only whisper to himself "Huh, is that a race of mole people? neat" as he began to swim towards them and the shore they stood on.
it only took Faust a split second before he return the handshake offered to him. He felt a slight chill through his gloved hand giving Beuce his usual carefree smile as he replied "Oh, I really don't mind Helping you out. In fact I was going to ask to join you guys anyway." He paused for a bit in his reply though not quite understanding what Beuce meant by 'Central Haven'. Rubbing the back of his head he continued as he began to walk up the plank to the deck of the ship "Don't what a Central Haven is but as long as there are new sights to see and things to experiences to be had with you guys can count on me."
As Faust dodged and weaved through the wild swings of the ignis in her flustered state. As he ducked under one of her punches laughing slightly the cracks in the ground slowly grew in size creeping along the ground. unnoticed by the duo from within the pile of broken pieces of ice black slug began to seep out reforming into its blob like shape. When Faust hoped back out of the way of what felt like the tenth kick Ignis threw towards him in their little chase around the entrance hall the cracks began to spread even further beginning to climb up some of the ice pillars in the room. "I thought I told ya bub" Mortimer growl out with a irritated posture when he finally reformed into his original shape "These little tricks of your's are only making me..." he was cut off as one of the pillars in the room broke off at the base landing square on top of the sentient ink pile squashing it once again. looking over at the toppled pillar while still dodging Ignis's blows Faust let out "Huh, was that pillar always there?"
After taking such a forceful blow from Ignis Faust started to tumble mid air on the way down during the split seconds of weightlessness. right before Faust meet the ground head first his keyblade appeared in a flash impaling itself into the ground taking the brunt of the force from the fall. As the blade sunk into the floor up to the hilt a large scraping sound resounded through the entrance hall as a few large cracks formed in the once pristine smooth icy floor. turning to look at Ignis bleeding slightly from his face first contact with ceiling he gave a small laugh as he replied "Well, that's one way to sweep me off my feet I guess?" while still hand standing off the handle of keyblade.
rubbing the back of his head from the sudden strike that Ignis gave him. looking over at her irritated expression only made him laugh harder on the inside. Taking a second, he began to collect his thought he came up with a better response while taking a quick glance over at the pile of ice to make sure the slug thing didn't already start to seep back out of. "Well, I guess it wasn't my best work but no need for such a cold response"
As Faust gazed at the pile of ice shards where the the blob creature stood he could only smile at the pile of ice. looking over the where Ignis and the others were giving a his usual simile saying " Well can't say it was ice to meet him but maybe we should freeze this guy to be sure."
Seeing as his controlled and focused bursts of thundaga weren’t doing much if any damage to the blob shaped creature Faust had only one idea. If controlled lightning strikes weren’t going to damage it then He was going to have to let it run wild. Just before he started to prepare his attack he called out “hey, might want to take a step back because my next trick is going be more than a little shocking!” Summoning his keyblade into his left hand he let his magic run wild only giving it a general direction of the creature. The lightning arcing from his keyblade in chaotic streams dancing along the walls of the ice palace. As the last arc began to dissipate it struck the large hanging crystalline structure that was acting as a pseudo chandelier in the center of the room. As it made contact the electrical charged shattered the ice holding it to the ceiling sending over a couple hundred pounds of ice shards into the general area of the ink like creature.
Only moments after the princesses offered to give them a boat to leave Arendelle on a black melting blob of a creature appeared. Faust didn't know what to make of the thing at first, He had seen some weird creatures out there since he had started his travels but normally they did not seem as melted and dis-formed as what stood before them. As the sentient melting creature began to reveal his intent in that he had kidnapped Anna for his own nefarious plans. Looking over at creature and AJ as he gave his demands, Faust could only really sigh as he was really lost at what was going on. looking as this was going to be another fight Faust began to channel his mana waiting for a proper chance to strike. Seeing Ignis charge forward Faust trance another path of lighting in he mind before releasing a thundaga on the creature in time with her strike.
Faust could only glance at his keyblade in confusion at first not quite getting what was going on. He had never experienced something like this in travels normally he would just move onto the next world after a while. Glowing keyblades and appearing keyholes hadn’t ever happened to much before. After a few seconds the sight before him clicked with one of his older almost forgotten memories of his old drunkard of a master. A few tankards in one day he had started rambling about ‘keyholes’, ‘the hearts of worlds’ and ‘how they needed to closed for their own good’. Following the only idea he had at the moment, Faust lifted his keyblade pointing it at the newly formed key hole shape in the entrance of Elsa’s ice castle muttering “Guess this is what that drunkard meant huh...” As he aimed his keyblade at the keyhole he felt a surge of his magic pass through him forming a shining day of light connecting his keyblade to the keyhole for a brief second. A soft locking noise rung out as the beam of light faded seconds after forming. The mere sound of a lock clicking closed sending a bigger chill down his spine than the flash winter he had just experienced. letting his keyblade fade away again he could only continue to mutter to himself gazing out at the sky “ let’s hope the old man was right.”
Faust didn't even look over towards Ignis as he heard her began to mumble the last part of her statement barely able to hear her complaint at the end. He was more focused on ingraining the inside of the ice fortress before they would have to leave it behind. lightly running his gloved hands over some of the sharp edges of the building. it would really be a shame that they were probably going to spend a little time in this vary interesting building. After he had his fill tracing the internal edges of the column he was near he replied back to her "I totally get what you mean. personally, I don't really want to go back home it's just kinda dull compared to whats out here ya know?"
Faust could only look on in wonder as the assailant that they were facing dispersed into a cloud of smoke fading from sight as the ice castle seemed to brighten. Faust let his keybalde fade away disappearing from his hand after he waited a moment to ensure that they weren't going to reappear into view. even from inside this icy structure he felt that the temperature was slowly returning to normal. Turning over to Ignis as she motioned to door expressing her desire to leave he could only laugh lightly commenting to her "Looks like the weather is fixed, huh? Is it always this exciting around you guys or was this like a one time thing?"

Faust could only laugh lightheartedly at Ignis's response to his comment. While he didn't quite like to settle things the hard and fast way like Ignis apparently did he didn't quite dislike it. only quickly summoning his keyblade into his left hand as he remained leaning against the railing at the bottom of the stairs. he felt that when this did come to blows that he should remain at a bit away the the melee range providing ranged support. so with that in mind he remained leaning against the banister watching the hostile newcomers with the same smile he normally had. not even looking at Ignis as she began to prepare for the oncoming fight he replied in a lighthearted tone "I don't mind to much, but personally I prefer to settle things in a nonviolent way towards others. Though I don't think our new friend over there is to keen to oblige, so it looks like we'll have to settle this your way. Oh well, as they say any port in the storm."
