You're a tad late to the party there: Disclaimer: "This post was brought to you by Bushy who is visiting Midnight. Take care, folks. *double thumbs up*
I thought the same thing xD
If you're making a Doctor Who Skype group, count me interested. I may not be able to take part in the discussion on the finale if it happens in the next week as Bushy will be with me but for any future ones, definitely.
Spoiler Okay, wow, that was one hell of an episode. I spent most of it with my arms around my legs, curled up in a ball. I thought the conference call was really nicely done, even with the letters to get each of them into it. It was quite a nice idea, though seriously, Jenny...;~; I actually got really upset when that happened because I love her character. I did kind of expect it wouldn't be permanent but it was more the thought that they could make it permanent. Vastra, Jenny and Strax need a spin off show. Please~ I liked the way the tardis tried to protect him and stop him from going and I felt a little sorry for the Tardis when he forced her to crash. Then seeing her dying...poor Sexy. THEY DIDN'T REVEAL HIS NAME. Phew. I was so worried they would because whatever it is, it would be a disappointment. The way they handled that was pretty nice, though could somebody please remind me which episode did River learn his name? Or have we not had that episode yet? It wasn't in the "The Marriage of River Song" because it turned out when he said he was going to tell her, he actually said 'look into my eyes'. I think she has to appear at least once more as he needs to give her his screwdriver that she has in the library. I did enjoy her presence in this episode though. How they explained her meeting him before was actually quite a good explanation. I had bugged me a little about how she was an 'impossible girl' and the doctor just seemed to travel with her for the mystery she held. I really liked how she was perfectly normal, it was just her actions in this episode that caused her to appear elsewhere. The ending? Hm. I'm undecided about that. I don't know what to think about it. It's looking like I'm going to have a really good birthday weekend, since both Doctor Who and Sherlock are returning 8D.
...you're dead. Normal body temperature is about 37 Degrees Celsius, if your core body temperature is more than a few degrees above or below that, you're dead. 24C is probably the room temperature, the temperature of the air around you, NOT your body temperature. That's different.
I love Jenny and Vastra so much, they are amazing. Spin off series please? Although I just read something which is an interesting thought. Spoiler It’s mentioned in the Christmas Special that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle used the adventures of Madame Vastra and Jenny Flint as inspiration for Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. While it’s obvious that Doyle wrote out the part where Holmes is an ancient lizard woman, there’s little that seems to link Jenny to Watson other than being the detective’s assistant. But then it struck me: Watson is a former soldier with medical experience. Who later comes off as a bumbling fool compared to Holmes. That’s not Jenny Flint. That’s Strax. …I’m not saying it’s canon, but my first reaction was to think that Doyle is shipping Vastra/Strax. And that’s just wrong.
Apologies in advance, I'm not much of an artist so my comments might not be the best. Jiku~ If this is only 4/10th of what you had planned, I'd love to see what you originally envisioned. They are adorable, I love their expressions and poses, it gives them a personality of their own and brings them to life. The amount of detail too, I'd liked to have seen them in colour when you finished but even without they are pretty great. Again it's link to power isn't initially obvious but it's really interesting to see how everyone's interpreted it differently. Dinny~ When I first saw this, I thought she was more a victim of power than the one with the power and I had to read the description to see it the way you envisioned. Either way, it's really good, I like the way you've used the paint in different ways to create the effects you have, like how the green goes out sort of like a plant and the ripples in the water are really nice. Though the green stands out a lot more, maybe a deeper/darker blue would balance it more? The way you've shown fire and air isn't as effective at representing the elements but it still looks good, you've blended the colours together well, particularly with her hair and it has a good contrast. Chie~ Really nice, I especially like the light effects that you've used that makes it such a bright and positive piece. Admittedly due to that I would not of understand how it related to power without the explanation, it was a different interpretation of it, which was good though it seemed to me to fit other themes better. I also keep looking at the sky more than the character. Also on mine, as I said before if you message me, then I'll be happy to translate, I just don't want to in the thread incase anyone wants to work it out themselves. And Chie, they are runes which I think originate with the anglo-saxons. There are loads of variations but most of them are quite similar. I originally learnt them from a book called Dragonology in a holiday several years back, though the ones on LotR are virtually the same ones. A lot of fictional things with magic use them, it's interesting working out with ones just use random letters to look like writing and which ones actually say something. I can read/write with them now without needing a cifer, I didn't look up the translation to write that piece.
Sixteen, good luck guys~
Wait, so how do Americans pronounce W?
That was amazing. Wow. Do you do voice acting? Because you seem really talented at it.
One to nine ^,^
One hundred and twenty six!
One Oh Eight
Um, um, hello? Excuse me? Yes, you, okay. Hello. Um, well I'm really sorry about this and I really hope you don't take offense or hate me for this. But well, the thing is I've been sent here to kill you, so yeah that's what I have to do. It shouldn't take too much of your time, though it might hurt a little, well maybe a bit more than that but it can't be helped. No, no, no, don't try to escape, you can't. I don't see why you want to, it's not like I want to hurt you. I harbour no ill will to you and if it was up to me then I'd let you survive. Likewise if it was up to me, I'd make it quick and painless. Thankfully, it's not up to me so I'm afraid I've got a little bit of torturing to do. I told you, you can't escape so why do you keep trying? If you stay still it will make having your eyes ripped out so much nicer for yourself. Uh uh uh, you shouldn't try to hurt me either, it's not going to work and it'll just make the inevitable worse. I don't see why you want to attack me, I'm not against you and anyway it's your own fault for making someone want you disposed of. The screaming, always the screaming, I need to start bringing ear plugs, well removing your vocal cords should do the trick. Ah, much better. I've got a long list of things I need to hurt you with before you die, so I'd better get started. Thank you for your cooperation, it's greatly appreciated.
One hundred and six, wow you guys are doing well~
Impressions? Would you go sky diving? One word to describe yourself? Dance with me? What would your spirit animal be? How sane are you? What superpower would you have? Sun or moon? How are you so awesome? Finish with an elegant bow or end with a BANG?
[/url] "Woah." Spirit muttered as she gazed up at what they had to now fight. She was one of the first on the scene but she did not rush into the battle, that was not her role, her job in the team was to protect and heal the injured. Which given the size of the robot, she did not expect it to be long until she had plenty to do. She stayed at a safe distance for the time being but found a place where she had a good view of the action so she could see where she was needed and be there fast. She stayed visible for the time being, she was out of the way and not in any immediate danger, relatively speaking, so there was no point in wasting her energy hiding. Although her attention was brought to their new member, another new member?? They sure picked up people fast, if they kept expanding at this rate there would be millions of them in no time. However, against a foe such as this one, more help had to be a good thing. She watched their new member, she certainly had an interesting costume and Phantom? Another ghosty name like hers but she found it funny to find the girl had completely different powers yet still appropriate for the name. Spirit couldn't help but grin as she watched the new girl, they were almost more hyper than her and it looked like used in the right way, her powers could become very handy. "I like this one! Can we keep her?" She spoke up, laughing but at the same time readied her body on her hoverboard. Several people were drawing close to the massive machine to get to the wires, it was only a matter of time before it attacked one or all of them and she'd be able to see where she was needed.
My name doesn't really get mispronounced but there is a shortening of my name that I really hate and will tell people when I meet them not to call me by. I don't mind reminding people and though won't answer to it as it's not my name. Although some people don't seem to get that and I give up telling them after so long. I think a lot of people think I'll react worst than I do to being called it though, as I've had it quite a lot where someone accidentally called me that and they've been waiting for me to get mad or whatever. I don't really get mad (but if you know what name I'm talking about, please NEVER call me that).
I don't actually know who all the people who came in after the initial two are.
But it's not April Fools~
