Impressions? Would you go sky diving? What is the scariest thing that you've ever done? If you were shrunk to like 3cm tall, what would you do? How are you so awesome?
Hey, I hope you got good results and got into university!! ^,^
Well I've been learning from Scotty so I could give it a shot. And I am actually a physicist which is close enough to engineer. And I'll vote yes, why not?
Do I need to heal the ship?? Not what I usually do as doctor but I'll give it a good go.
Alice couldn't quite believe her eyes. They started out okay, Hunter shot over the first half of the course while Lex lagged behind a bit but was making progress. He seemed to be turning his body to stone? Either way he got onto the wall okay but then everything went a bit weird. Hunter was shouting things which seemed to be annoying his partner and as he did the stone appeared to be spreading across his body and almost enveloping him. Yet despite Lex's obvious discomfort, Hunter seemed unable to take a hint and shouted something again. It almost seemed to happen in slow motion and yet really fast at the same time. The E-Class boy just lost it. The stone took over his entire body and he appeared to go crazy, smashing up the wall with incredible strength. She lost sight of Hunter, if he had any sense he'd get onto the rendium bit and away from what had become of Lex.Surprisingly, she'd been able to just watch that all as none of the debris was getting through to them, something was stopping them all, an invisible barrier? No, it was Kregeur. Huh, maybe he wasn't so bad after all, he was protecting them. Maybe he liked being the only person allowed to hurt the students and torture them. Either way he seemed to be doing a good jo- Alice watched in horror as a decent sized chunk of debris went through the barrier and straight into whatshisname from her class, the goo guy. Everyone seemed to go silent, just for a moment, he was probably one of the students that would be okay after being him but nobody knew quite how he'd react to it. She didn't find out as before he had chance to react, everything just turned crazy. STRANGE fight. She just stood there for a moment, this was all wrong, they should be fighting together to get out not fighting each other! That said it would make an awesome distraction to try and escape but she'd need help, she couldn't do it alone, well maybe she could get out but who knew what awaited her outside. However the ones that might help her appeared to be within the fight. She just stood still watching the fight for a few seconds figuring this out but fortunately she'd instinctively registered the danger so when a spiked fist came flying at her out of nowhere, it simply went straight through her. Ghost looked up at the confused face of the owner of the fist with no urgency at all, the boy tried unsuccessfully to attack her again and again. He wasn't very bright, was he? She sighed. "Didn't anyone ever tell you not to pick on little girls? Go fight someone your own size." She spoke quietly and as she did she raised her hand, making it solid for a brief moment to grab the boys clothes. She had a little grin on her face as she phased them off him leaving him in his underwear. "You shouldn't of attacked me, now go play" She chucked the boys clothes into the fight. He glared at her before running off to try and retrieve them. Idiot. She then started to walk casually through the fight as she wondered what to do about this fight, the guys with rendium would be there soon enough and punishments all round. Yay. She should probably try and get out of here before they make an appearance.
You're a really good artist, sorry, I just clicked on your link to your deviantart and you've got some really awesome stuff.
Ah okay, thanks for that. I did say that I could be entirely wrong and I knew none of that was official but I wasn't aware that those things had been stated. That's actually quite interesting. I think River Song has put doubts in my mind about a female doctor that I wanted before, it probably could have been done really well but if they did, I just fear they'd mess it up. Although you never know if it will work until you try. Anyway thanks for correcting me.
I don't believe the doctor should of been a woman, I did used to want that but I have since changed my mind. The reason I changed my mind was River Song, she was effectively a female timelady and throughout her several generations she remained a woman. So I think that although their appearances and bodies change dramatically, their biological sex remains constant. And think on Gallifrey, assuming they reproduce the same way as us, imagine if their partner suddenly changed sex. Not to say that wouldn't work and I don't think that is canon. I think that the points you guys are valid and I think Moffat handled it entirely wrong. I think a woman would of been able to play him well but because of what I've said, I'm personally glad it's a guy. However it would have been interesting if he changed race.
I really like your sig~
Takara fiddled with her necklace curiously, it was only plastic and she much preferred the one already around her neck but she could never expect any other necklace to be better. It was quite nice for what it was and a good souvenir to take back though she'd not yet decided what to put in it. Still she was enjoying the trip, this place was completely different to what she was used to but it surprised her that some of the other students looked a bit bored. How could they find this boring? Either way she hoped it got better and even more exciting. By the end of this trip maybe even they'd have their attitudes changed, hopefully so. Her grin didn't leave her face as she tried to take in everything. Her friends had stopped trying to get her attention, she could chitter-chatter anytime, she just didn't want to miss a thing. OOC: I won't be able to post for at least 10 days so don't expect a speedy response if you try to talk to her or they go to the digital world.
Object Immortality - The power to never die as long as a certain object exists. I have no idea how the levels will apply to this power.
The trailer looks interesting and the film's out the day after my birthday ^,^ but to respond to what you guys have been saying: Spoiler In the books, the final battle was not just against zombie's like you've been saying. The dead tributes had been genetically altered, created into like wolf hybrid creatures. They all had collars with the number of their district and aspects of the tributes like hair colour, build and size. EDIT: http://thehungergames.wikia.com/wiki/Muttations#Wolf_mutts Also one of the changes that I noticed most was about the pin too but not how she got it. In the book they were all allowed one token item, her's was her pin. She didn't sneak it in and she wore it on full view. The pin in the book was the thing that made Rue decide to trust her as they had mockingbirds back in district 11. It also added to the reason why that became her symbol. However in the film, as she wasn't supposed to have it, she had it hidden from view during the games.
With your explanation of how it works it shouldn't do that. If you've never visited the thread before the oldest unread post should be the OP. It should only take you to the middle if you've gone on it before. That's more annoying when you've clicked on it accidentally or been linked previously to a post later in the thread which would make it think anything previously had been read. Likewise if you've forgotten the thread or had only flicked through it before BUT it should not take you randomly to the middle if it is your first time viewing the thread like you said.
Impressions? Would you ever go sky diving? Dance with me? One word to describe yourself? What would your spirit animal be? How sane are you? If you could have any superpower, which would you choose? Finish with an elegant bow or end with a BANG?!?
I don't pay rent at home but I live away for half the year at university where I do have to pay for accommodation. I don't have a job either, I'm living off my student loan. I think if I had a proper job and I wasn't at university, I might be expected to pay something.
Matt Smith's homemade episode.
Alice smiled as she listened to her new partner, he seemed quite nice and curteous, even if he didn't actually look quite as excited as he said he was. He was probably more than excited than she was anyway, she dreaded these lessons. However his words gave her hope, the flying had come as a complete surprise to her but there was no denying how useful that ability was going to be. The first half of the course looked like it was going to be easy for them, the the second half was another matter.Either way, she grinned at Sam, "Well it's an utmost pleasure to work with him as well as you. I didn't know you could fly, that should be really useful but you needn't worry about the bots. We can just ignore them pretty much, unless you feel like blasting them for the hell of it." She laughed, and moved her hand up and straight through the wall they were standing next to. "I can walk through walls or obstacles or anything really. It's called phasing, I can pass through any solid object without them touching me. If I phase through electric things, they tend to blow up." That might have been a slight exaggeration, they only blew up sometimes, quite often they just short circuited and just stopped working in a completely unimpressive way. However, saying they blew up sounded much more impressive. "In other words, anything they throw at us will just go straight through us as if we were ghosts. We can go straight through the climbing wall too if you'd like. Only thing is I need physical contact to phase you as well, hope you don't have a problem holding hands. Oh, and can you still fly us over the fences, I'm not sure if I could phase through them and don't want to take the risk. I can turn invisible too but that's a bit irrelevant here."She gazed at the course, the rendium bit still her major concern but hopefully this would make her useful in the first part of the course anyway and not make her a hindrance. She really didn't want to be the reason why somebody else who would have normally passed failed. She didn't like this lesson but she had to pass it, if only for Sam.
The pain Dragoness had inflicted on herself was immense and as Spirit transferred the injuries to herself, it hurt but she could take it as her healing factor worked it's magic. It was worth it to see the pain leave her friend and see her injuries heal up. She was aware she was taking on the injuries faster than she was able to heal herself but she didn't care. She had to get her friend healed and okay to rejoin the fight as soon as possible. She couldn't stand to let her be in pain when she could do something about it. When Dragoness told her to stop, she resisted briefly, taking on even more injuries in those last few moments to get her as healed as possible, making her gasp in pain. However, when they got up, she did actually stop. She knew her friend spoke true but looking at the cracks in her scales and her shattered claws, it felt a little like a failure despite being quite certain all her internal injuries were completely healed. As she paused to listen, without her taking on more injuries, her own regenerative abilities had chance to catch up and by the time Amelia finished talking, she was almost healed completely. She nodded regretfully, "Okay, fine, just promise me that you'll let me heal the rest after the battle." She smiled at her friend despite really wanting to do more before looking up to reply to the comms. "I put a shield around when I heal people so you needn't worry." Stepping onto her hoverboard, she nodded about how they needed to end the battle. "Right, if anyone needs healing give me a shout over the comms and I'll have you right as rain in no time. If nobody does I can get somebody in close to the robot without it noticing for a surprise attack. Just let me know where I'm needed and I'll be right there." It was all well and good her whizzing around looking to see if anyone got hurt but if they could tell her then it would make her job much easier. Not that she could rely on that, if somebody got knocked out then they weren't going to be able to call for her.
I've not seen her in the classic series but in the new stuff and in the Sarah-Jane adventures she's awesome.
