Nobuo Uematsu will probably be remembered among the "greats" of music. You know, people like Beethoven, Mozart, and all those old dudes. For those of you who don't know, Nobuo Uematsu is music composer behind the majority of the Final Fantasy games and, in fact, announced at his 2012 Distant Worlds concert in Columbus, Ohio that he will be in charge of the music for Final Fantasy XV.

At a panel he did at a con after that concert in 2012, I met Nobuo Uematsu, got his autograph, and shook his hand. I have shaken the hand of someone who may very well be remembered for centuries after his death.

    I think that's pretty amazing.

I'm not arguing that his hair doesn't become invincible. I'm arguing that his hair becoming invincible would have no effect on his ability to pull it out.

Yeah, but the hair isn't really connected to you. It just kinda sits there anchored to the root.[DOUBLEPOST=1404276856][/DOUBLEPOST]

Well actually it's more foggy than misty. I can't even see more than a foot outside my window.

I don't use lastfm. Is it really that great?

That's like asking, "What's the point in eating food if you're not going to post about it on Pinstafeed?"

BECAUSE THE BEST WAY TO DEAL WITH DEAD PARENTS IS TO ADOPT A KID DURING A PERIOD OF YOUR LIFE WHEN YOU ARE VERY LIKELY TO TRAUMATIZE THE KID BY BECOMING HIS DEAD PARENT.

Either way, it wouldn't be ironic. If the comics weren't your inspiration it would just be an amusing coincidence.

I never needed you to explain that. I needed you to explain the least bad way to execute that bad idea. And then, after having to reread the question several times before understanding it, both you and hatok did.

If not a prequel, what would be the least bad thing to do in the hypothetical "Up 2?" You know, the original question.

The same point as continuing the story of any other movie that's perfect on its own: Bringing in new money with minimal effort. That's what the entertainment industry is all about at this point and why the theoretical Up 2 would be no good. But that's not related to my point that a prequel would be the least bad thing to do.

Actually, it's empowering to trans-gender identifiers. Think about it: A black cis-male (whose oppressive power complex reveals him to be a trans-ethnic white cis-male) plans to kidnap a stereotypical female who must be rescued by a male with a penchant for music and nature, implying that xe is a trans-woman. When the male hero fails, the kidnapped female finds a way to escape on xir own and takes on a masculine identity, revealing xir closeted trans-man identity. The trans-man helps the trans-woman on xir journey and in the end they both defeat the oppressive trans-white cis-male king.
