I actually kinda liked her near the end of the game, then at the end when she was kinda sorta hitting on Leon.
You can. In the normal game costume, you can shoot and kill her. But you'd get a game over.

Same here. I've had it for a while though, I beat it twice. Once you beat it the first time, you get two costumes. If you play through it agian, choose the second one. It'll have Leon look like a mob gangster and Ashley in a suit of armor, which really comes in handy, since the bad guys just fall down when they try to pick her up. They can't kill her either, and neither can you. I used to just stand there and shoot at her just for the heck of it, since she couldn't get hurt.
