Nope, first was Green that came out in Japan only. Then there was Red and Blue. Then, yellow came. Blue version was actually my first gameboy game. But I let my friend borrow it and I never got it back. He said he put it on my doorstep, but I think someone took it. This was back when I was in sixth grade too, I'm now 20. I remember it was sixth grade because I got my gameboy color, which I still have, as a gift for "graduating" elementary school. But I got Yellow before I let my friend borrow it, I had been wanting that game so bad, I used to pray and wish every night for it until I got it.
