Derek noticed it as soon as she picked him up. a man had been hiding and listening the whole time had just leapt at her, When Derek dived in the way. They scrambled across the groun, until they were both standing on their feet. "who are you and why did you attack Akiko?" Derek asked angrily. "that girl is needed in my country and i'm bringing her with me, by force if i have too!" The guy yelled at Derek. Derek didn't wait for him to recover and approached him at a fast pace, catching him by surprise, before the man could react, Derek was standing on his foot, and already was twisting his arm around. The man screamed in pain (waking the three fimiluars completly) as he felt his arm get dis-located. "'Never' say something like that aruond me, or i swear, it won't be you're arm next time..." Derek threatened with and evil glare in his eyes. The manimmediantly swung hi other arm, catching Derek by surprise and knocking him to the groun with a bloody noise... "damn, if only i had a weapon!" Derek cursed getting back to his feet.
"this is foolish..." Derek told himself. "i still have another three years left, i shouldn't be crying..." he wiped hi eyes and realised that Akiko was close to tears as well. "Don't worry about it! i have three years that's long enough!" Derek told her, in hopes of cheering her up... ooc: moment wasn't right, next post i 'swear!' to get some action!!!!:D tell me if you don't want action yet and i'll postpone it:D oh yeah but think about it, since the fimiluar isconnected to their partners soul, doesn't that mean they'l feel a reflection of their feelings and emotions?
Derek smiled happily. 'now Racheal won't be alone...' he thought to himself s tears spread down his face... ooc: hey in my next post can i make some random guy attack Akiko and Tyko?
"Yeah... i guess... humph, wow i really wasted my life didn't i? i as always so concerned with what my dad said growing up, that i forgot that i should only live till 19. heh, hopefully something will happen in that time and i won't die but it's unlikely..." Derek said sadely... "wow, i wonder how Racheal's gonna deal with it... oh and Kaiten, do you think you could write a poem book for her or something, she seems to liek poems no matter what she says... oh, and sorry i forgot to ask, what brings you here anyway? i came because Racheal wanted to find this village, and i'm guessin that Akiko lives here, so yeah..."
"what's wrong? don't worry about it, if i die i die, it's that simple, just please don't tell racheal that i've said all this she doesn't know..." Derek said sadly. "Akiko when i die, please help Racheal to deal with it... i would also like to ask you to, nurture her back t ohealth and teach her how to be human. and for god sake keep those men away from her!!!" As Derek said this he realised how protective he was and smiled softly...
"don't worry Snivel... she's a strong spirit..." Derek sighed as he stared at the now sleeping Racheal "she'll need someone very soon, because since i'm a half fimiluar, unles i fuse with another fimiluar i'll die within the next three years. and although the fusion won't kill either one of us, it's still extemly dangerous so i will only ever use it in emergences..."
Racheal ran up and curled up next to him... Derek smiled openly (for once!) and decided that she might just of actually have fallen for this fimiluar. 'At least she'll have somebody to love when i'm gone...' he told himself...
ooc: well that's all we can do until ansem the wise comes back so yeah...
"hey Tyko, mind if i sleep next to you?" She asked happily jumping out of Derek's arms. "it's her way of asking if she can sleep over, sorry." Derek explained appolicetically.
Racheal still wanted to play. "can we at least be friends?" She aske innocently. "Wow. she never gives up does she?" Derek asked himself happily. "snivel just ignore her, she really soesn't know eh nt ostop..." Derek asked picking her up...

"he seems happy" Derek exclaimed smiling. "Snivel be happy i don't pester the crap out of you like Racheal tolled me too..."
"Akiko, go back up to the room and bolt the door... i'll take care of this" Alex ordered as he noticed the glint in the man's eyes. ooc: no-one dies yet okay? it's too early damnit.
Derek laughed as he saw how happy they were playing together. "you know Snivel, it wouldn't hurt you to play?" "hey let him do what he wants..." Rachealy waits a few seconds. "that's it pester the crap out of him till he plays Derek!"
Alex noticed the guy approaching "Who are you nyway?" Alex asked him as he entered. "If you're after Akiko, i won't let you near her!" he said taking out the sword he had found...
"but Snivel, don't you understand the truth in it? you know you're really good Kaiten, is that you're profession?" Derek asked happily.
Cian sighed as he followed her...
"don't worry i won't hurt you!" Racheal yelled to Tyko. "come on let's play some more!, oh and big dragon thingy, do you want to play with me?" Derek couldn't help but smile she was so cute, and always playful. he cursed the day he would die and leave her on her own...
Alex lead her back to the motel, making sure that no knights saw her...
"she should be around 20 feet if that happens..." Derek explained looking fondly at Racheal. "they really remind you of animals when there young but dad always said that once they were as old as Snevil, they matured quite a bit, though i don't think Racheal will be like that" Derek said silently. "i thnk she'll be as wild as she can be until i die... then i hope she can move on with her life..." Racheal's ears peeked up and she seemed very angry that Derek had mentioned when he died...
