"don't mean to worry you but his father was exactly the same at his age, then as soon as he hit 18, he bacame the famous captain Jake Sparrow." Hiero explained. "chances are it won't be as bad with him, as he is already somewhat famous and doesn't need to make the deal to get the black pearl..."
"well, i promise you that while me and Racheal are here we'll make sure you're not bored, besides i have to have some fun with the rest of my life!" He exclaimed quite happily.
"hmm, strange she strangles me and let's you go with pirate's an interesting way if living..." Hiero exclaimed. "anyways, the captain's a good guy... you should try to find a way to settle down with him, before he becomes like his father..."
"huh? interesting, or well it's good to meet someone else who can talk with everyone's fimiluars." He exclaimed happily. "so what's it liike living here?"
"No clue, all we found inside was a rusted sword, and although i'm not an expert, i'd say it's made out of some of the hardest materials on earth. i was gonna give it to the captain later." Hiero explained, happily. "oh well, so how is you're mother anyway?"
Derek followed, amazed at how well made the village is whe nseomthing strike him... "Hey Akiko, why can you hear other people's fimiluars?" he asked...
"drank all the rum last night... don't worry i didn't help with anything but breaking into that strange purple lock thingy at the bottom of the ship..." Hiero explained...
"okay... you lead..." Derek offered.
"oh, ok, do you want to wait for him?" Derek asked. "it's all hell if you can't find you're fimiluar i can tell you that, since their panic and sadness reflects on to you're own frustration... it's hard to stand..."
"heh, tell that to you're mother, look what she did last time!!!" Hiero points to a long scar that went around his neck. "her claws hurt damnit!!!!"
"sweet!" Derek said happily. "so, uh where'd Tyko go?"
"that's good to hear, especially since you're mother threatened to strangle me if i ever let a guy get advantage of you, apparently it had something to do with my parents owing her or something..." Hiero remembered. "come to think of it she's actually strangled me three times now..."
Derek thanked the lady for the keys, and went and put Racheal in their room on a pillow, then went back to meet Akiko (after bolting the door, locking the windows and giving Racheal a soft pat.) "sorry for making you wait..." Derek apologized as he came back. "so, do you think you can show me this village?"
"hahaha, you actually remember throwing me off of that cliff? wow, i barely remember ecause of the scars it gaveme, hahaha" Hiero joked happily. "don't worry about it anyways it history, wait so you're the girl the captain has been spending all of his time with?"
"ok, thanks, i'll go put Racheal to ed then i'll be back out, d oyou think you can wait?" He asked as he paid for the room...
"yeah, mum and dad say i couldn't stay at home and dragged me along to visit you're mother, that's when we met remember? anyways why are you here now?" Hiero asked...

Hiero then noticed the girl in the captain's quarters for the first time, and was stunned with surprise. "Lyra!!! it's been what? three years now?!?!" Hiero exclaimed in surprise then remembered what was going on. "uh, captain, Lyra woke up..."
"you do realise they're drunk out of their brains right? i mean they drank 5 months worth if rum juast last night!" Hiero explained. "they won't be able to talk properly...
