Kaden stared at him for a moment, not expecting him to take off his helmet. She had not expected him to look so...normal, as most bounty hunters she came across wore armor because of battle scars - facial or otherwise. Shaking her head slightly, she took another drink, then put money out on the counter for the bartender to collect. Remembering the men from before, she glanced up again, but quickly cursed. It had been a mistake, and now the men had gotten up. There were three in total, and all were advancing on them. "Rain," she said softly, "We have company."
I'm the master of everything.
Sure am, I actually was just watching the end of the first live action movie. xD
Kaden nodded. She saw that the bartender was at the other end, so she spoke above normal volume. "Bartender, two tihaar here," she said. The man nodded, and in a few minutes he brought them a pint of the drink each. It was clear, but smelled strongly of fruit. Kaden couldn't fight the grin that came on her face, and she took a drink as soon as the man set it down. "It's made of fruit, but very strong - the smell betrays the strength of it. Always been my favorite," she said to Rain.
OOC: I know, but I wasn't sure if it was ye olde times Europe or more of a "general" world. But here pubs = bars anyway. xD IC: Kaden saw the direction that Rain was looking. Closing her eyes, she said to him quietly, "Those are the ones that may give us trouble...I have run into them in the past, do not let your guard down." She then walked to the counter and sat at one of the stools in a position so she could see the men. She hoped that they did not recognize her, or a fight would almost certainly break out. Kaden looked up at Rain. "What would you like? I'll buy," she said.
Kaden led Rain out of the inn, then looked around to get her bearings. She picked out the bar, and headed towards it. Before they entered, she heard a familiar voice, and readied one hand to get her weapons from her belt if need be. "There is potential trouble on the other side of this door...we may run into a fight tonight," she said quietly to Rain.
Everyone in this thread is bullshitting you. The only real solution is to cut off the limb/appendage that has blisters. Hacksaws usually do the trick. Best of luck.
Kaden nodded as his response, and led him to the inn. They walked in, and she went up to talk to the innkeeper. Seeing that Rain was right behind her, she said, "We'd like a room. Cheapest you have but big enough to accomadate both of us." The innkeeper said that there was a room, but it was not quite prepared yet, but would be soon. Kaden acknowledged this, then said, "When it's ready, have someone carry this and put it in the room. If anything is stolen or damaged, you'll pay a heavy price for it." Kaden gave the innkeeper the bag, but removed her wrist claws first, and tucked them in her belt. She then looked at Rain and signaled that they could leave.
I'm glad you finally got to prove that. xD BUT This myth cannot be busted yet. It severely lacks testing that involves multiple explosions that are questionable in legality.
So how would you feel if I wrote a series about vampires, with the main female character called Belle and the main male character called Eduardo, who is actually a vampire, and his main nemesis and rival in love is an angsty werewolf shapeshifter named Joshua? Honestly if Naruto was going to rip something off, then yeah, at least change the camera angles and whatnot so it doesn't look totally blatant. >>
Clearly all these other things ripped off Naruto. Because only real ninjas wear orange jumpsuits right? Spoiler Spoiler Bastards.
Come off it Spike, we all know you're too cool for everything.
Kaden walked beside Rain, thinking about where they should go first as they entered the town. It looked a bit different than what she remembered, but for the most part it was still the same. She looked up at Rain, who was now noticibly much taller than her, and said, "We should go to the inn first, that way we'll have a room and I can put my armor down for a while. After that, we can head to the bar."
It's not as bad as other threads I've seen, and considering the face-paw happened last night for a totally different reason, I have to save those for special occasions. >> Anyway I don't think I'd necessarily mind, but it's not really my choice in the end. xD I'll just keep doing what I've been doing.
Has that unique charm.
"Fair enough, but if we run into trouble for it, you're on your own," Kaden said as she removed her body plates, then her helmet and chain mail. Beneath her armor, she was an average size, slim but strongly built. With Kaden's helmet removed, her black hair and red eyes were completely visible. Her clothes were that of commoners. Kaden put her armor neatly in a large bag, then said something to Ravage and went to catch up with Rain.
This too, what the hell. xD [IMG]
Yet another thing I thought you'd like. [IMG]
Yeah, no one really bothered to tell me that. >> So Split will be getting this week, then Kitty afterwards if she returns. That being said, I'll lock this now. +\LOCKED/+
