Watch or read Rurouni Kenshin, Fullmetal Alchemist, Busou Renkin, and Spice & Wolf . Then come back and tell me what the best series is. Hell, pick up almost any shounen series, and it will probably be better than Naruto. Cool.

Kaden yelped in pain as he picked her up. "No idea...town changed since I was here..." she muttered. She looked up at him. Sharp whistle...will get Ravage's attention...medical supplies in his saddle..." She was starting to feel tired, and her eyes started to close. Kaden fought to stay awake because she knew that if she fell asleep she was not likely to wake up, but it was becoming harder and harder to keep her eyes open.

Kaden groaned and fell over slightly. She hadn't expected the attack, and certainly did not expect the wound to bleed so heavily. She knew she was bleeding out a lot despite the pressure, her vision was starting to swim and she felt sick. "Blast it, Rain," Kaden said as she slumped over further, "I don't think I can walk properly like this."

"Thank you," Kaden said to Rain. She turned her attention on the man in front of her now, and after a few more rushes by him, she decided to end the fight. Similar to her fight with Rain, she caught the man's dagger in one claw, then stabbed him in the stomach with the other. "Join your friends now," she growled at him and withdrew her claw, letting him fall to the ground. She turned around to return to her seat, but after she took a few steps, she felt a blinding pain between her right shoulder and neck. Looking back, she saw that the man was still alive, and just stabbed her. Cursing, Kaden lashed out at the man again, but missed and fell to the floor.
Noticing where Rain's hand was moving, Kaden touched his arm. "It'll have to be close combat here," she said. She then got up and walked around the counter to face them. "What do you want?" Kaden asked. "You're a bounty hunter, correct?" one man said. Kaden nodded once. "Then you're Tracyn, the monster that killed our buddy," he continued. "I might have. I lose track of past bounties," Kaden replied. "Damn you!" the man shouted as he rushed forward, drawing out a dagger. Kaden sidestepped his attack, ending up behind him, and pulled out and put on her claws. She now had her back to the two other men, and she heard the sound of them drawing out weapons as well.
