This book's kindsa long... (38 pages on Windows) so bear with me. oh and i added the 1st chapter into the prologue, because the prologue was too short... ------------------------------------------------------------- The Village of Time: In a land far away a hooded warrior stood in front of hundreds on his own to protect his home. ‘This is what I was trained to do’ he told himself. As they charged he stood his ground, his only movement was to un-sheath his sword. He fought valiantly but soon started to weaken but he refused to lose and charged in a valiant attempt to at least weaken his enemies. He lost and soon was thrown of the bridge. Chapter one: shame and sadness He awoke a few hours later feeling tired and miserable. The smell of burning wood was in the air and he could imagine his village burning. With tears in his eyes he left the village. A week went by and he traveled through village to village only staying long enough to eat and rest. He continued doing this until he came to a tavern. He went inside to get some food with the last of his money. He met an old man in there who seemed kind enough. The old man predicted that he would return to his village and fight of the darkness there. The warrior questioned the old man but he replied simply “Alex you cannot escape this destiny but if you travel to the outer regions you will only find heartbreak and death until you are forced to return” this surprised the warrior for not only had the old man predicted what he planned to do but also knew his name. That night he left for the forest of death seeking a passage away from his so called ‘destiny’ and from the pain this world still held for him. The winter was bitter against his skin but he didn’t care all that mattered was escape. Soon he was too cold to continue and made camp for the night. That night he dreamt of his best and closest friend: Eliss. He remembered when they first met. He was a young boy no older than nine and he had been rejected from the trials academy and was the first in 80years to have no special skills of his own. This had caused many problems for him and he had never had any form of friendship before because those who were willing to be his friends were picked out by others and ‘sorted out’. Once he had lost his temper at the other kids and instead of staying down like normal he got back up immediately and tolled them to stop picking on him and when one of them came up to hit him again he kicked them in the nose. This enraged the others and to Alex one second they were there the next second one of them had punched him in the face. Alex got back up again and another one punched him in the face. This continued until he was ready to just collapse and not get back up ever again. This time however when one of them had disappeared he ended up sent flying by Eliss. Eliss took down the other 8 bullies with ease. That day Eliss had become his first and only friend. He awoke soon after remembering this with tears in his eyes. Truly feeling the cold for the first time he left heading to the forest of death directly. ------------------------------------------------------------------ i'll post the next chapter once i get a couple of replys...
Nice story Sora! though i have a question. (this is gonna sound really dumb but:) is axel's kid one of the friends? and if so, does he/she have a keyblade. (oh, and before anyone insult's me, i have read it, i just can't figure out who's kid's who's) oh, and Axel's kid(if he is in it, and has a keyblade) really shouldn't have a Keyblade but Axel's Chakrams (the spikey things he uses :D)
"hey, where's the captain? i mean for all he knew the ship could've been under attack and he's not here?" Hiero questioned himself. "HaHa, i've become like the Captain's social maager haven't i?"
"Well, at least now, i know where they are..." Hiero looked over at Lyra. "don't worry, now i have a new reason to help you with freeing you're father, as of it will free my parents as well..."
Derek walked around the front, and knocked on the door (even though it was open...)
"Damn... damn... damn... DAMN!" Hiero cursed, slaming his fist into a nearby wall...
Racheal charged out of the house, to where she thought Derek was. Seeing derek she yelped in joy and ran over to him, jumping onto his lap, ciling up and falling asleep within minutes... "Being worried, doesn't agree with her apparently..." Derek explained, getting up and walking over to Akiko's house...
"why... why not?!?!" Hiero yelled after him. "why not...?"
"True but i'm gonna die in three years anyway..." Derek reminded. "i hope Akiko's okay..." "Akiko, can i go check up on Derek please?" Racheal asked for the seventh time...
Shrene's mind seemed to go blank, as he felt a dark presence well up in his mind. suddenly it seemed as if he wasn't in his own body but was veiwing it from the outside. Shrene let out an unheard yell, as his back seemed to rib itself to shreds sending blood everywhere spreading wings. Shrene also seemed to become completely filled with his deepest emotion he noticed, since before he could control his want to save humans but now his body seemed to do it on it's own making an exception for anyone with human blood he noted, as it tackled Seph. ooc: you write books? OMG so do i! (wait didn't i already tell you that? oh well :D) so what's you're book about?
"Damn!" Derek cursed...
Derek bit his tongue as it got ripped out of him to stop himself from screaming... once it was out he fell to the ground panting...
"Damn it!" Shrene shouted... ooc: can i ake Shrene have a full vampire form? where he looks like Seph, only with two white wings? oh, and did you get the name Seph from Sephiroth from ff7?
"Do you honestly think i enjoy haing a sword through me?" Derek asked stunned at the stupid question... ooc: tell me honestly what would you do if you're friend had a sword through him? would you ask if he wanted it pulled out or would you just pull it out? i know i'd pull it out!
Shrene heard the scream and, realising he couldn't make it in time, threw his sword at the shadow... "Go Hurry!!" Shrene ordered Scotty
Heiro watched them go, silently thinking of Kate...
"Sorry, i just hate it when people are obliivious to the obvious..." Shrene explained
"damn..." Derek sighed as he felt the pain rush through him... ooc: now then, i have decided what i'm gonna do! pm me if you wanna know! (or just wait till i tell you anyway but that could be a few months)
"Well, he's a vampire with wings meaning he's in the higher class of Vampires!" Hiero explained angrily ooc: G2g do whatever with Shrene but don't forget him>_<
"Well, then take me with you! I can help both you and my parents!" Hiero pleaded. "Sorry Lyra but it's my parents!"
