I believe it will be part of the upcoming (hopefully) "About Me" section, and I think we're leaning towards not counting posts there.
Because in addition to people just writing spammy posts, a lot of people constantly post pictures to bump their post count. I never actually liked having it in an area where posts counted, to be honest. >>

Moving to Spam Zone as I have discovered something awesome.
I have unlimited and unrestricted wireless internet in the dorms. :'D

But I probably won't be on much during the day anyway, since I have a totally packed schedule (including a night class three times per week) and various other trips and things. So I'll be around and doing things, just not as often.
Also lol @ Shiki spamming in what used to be in a post-counted area.

And the particularly good news is that my roommates are pretty awesome, one of them (the one I'm sharing a room with) is also an Okami fan. 8D
We are also all seeing The Last Airbender on opening day because we have Friday afternoons off. And yes, I have already established myself as the Firebender; in my residence group there are two Earthbenders and one Airbender. xD

    Later kids.

I may have mentioned this to a few of you, but in short I will be going away to a pre-college art program for four weeks. I don't know what the deal will be with the internet, but even if I do have access chances are that I will be super busy and won't be on terribly often. I will log on to check up on things if I can though.
I'm leaving later today, and will be back on July 24th.

For those that have my number, feel free to text. :]

Have a good summer guys, and yes, your post counts will (probably) be safe for now. xD

Long term illnesses caused by ingesting animals or water that have traces of oil suck pretty bad too.
Especially if it can be passed on.
And the ocean will never be back to the way it was, there will always be some trace of the oil, no matter how small.

Not to mention the people that flat out ignored the evacuation orders and refused to leave. They knew the storm was coming, and they knew it was going to be bad.

If I was religious I would totally be a missionary when I grow up, I enjoy spreading Okaminism to people. :'D
But yeah if you get stuck in the future ask me, since I've played it a billion times and we're at about the same part. xD

Well...I'll be heading out for a four week pre-college program tomorrow, not sure if I'll have internet access or not.

Still hoping for some real cnc on my portfolio, if anyone has time it'd be awesome if you could say something. D:

Yeah, who wants to go to the Florida coast for vacation, or see the birthplace of many jazz elements or anything like that.

Thousands of people are also losing their businesses, effectively losing their homes as well. And I'm pretty sure we all know how the job market in the US is looking right now.
I worked in an area destroyed by Katrina with Habitat for Humanity, I rebuilt houses for people. Homes you can rebuild over time. Oceans, however, cannot be cleaned so quickly or easily, and BP is not helping anyone by burning things alive. They are effectively destroying the Gulf's ecosystem entirely.

It does, considering that the oil spill is pretty much destroying a. the tourist industry and b. the seafood industry, among other things. People will still suffer from this spill years into the future, as will the ecosystem, and people will recover partially based on the ecosystem's recovery. If there are no fish for people to catch in ten years due to toxins from the oil still in the fish, then the businesses will still fail, and people will have no way to live.
The fact is that this disaster has passed the sixty-day mark and I still have heard very little from Obama and/or BP as to how this will be resolved. Hell, BP is even keeping people that want to help wildlife survival away from the area, and are proceeding to do the "clean up" their way. Which is destroying the ecosystem even more.
