"Rain, dammit, just please listen to me," Kaden said. She was standing besides him, trying to give the shield back to him. "He may not look it but he is incredibly strong, even if both of us fought together we wouldn't be able to bring him down...and I don't want to see you die."
Kaden saw what Rain was doing. "Rain...don't fight him. There's no way you can beat him, please trust me," she said. She knew how powerful Dral was, even growing up, he was far stronger than Kaden had ever been.
...Fixed. >>
"Not that you would get it, just that you could command it in addition to your own. Alternately, I can supply a highly trained rider. Either way, consider that your ultimatum. Do it, Rain, and you will have more wealth than you could ever have imagined," Dral said.
I loved going there, it was so nice. xD But I like St. Thomas better. 8D Well yeah, it could've been a directional mistake too. >>
"Her dragon has nothing to do with this. It will obey you, I assume you have spent enough time with Tracyn for that beast to trust you. Tracyn's injury, however, will hinder the job. The longer those children are alive, the more jepordized this becomes. Now, Rain," Dral said, standing to his full height, "Kill her." Kaden stood in silence, watching both Rain and Dral.
I know where it is, Aruba is about 100 miles or something away from it. >> He may have actually been talking about Chile, since he said it was long. xD
"Excellent," Dral responded. Turning his head back to Kaden, he said, "When do you plan to engage them?" Kaden shifted slightly, trying to take the pressure of her armor off her shoulder. "Within the next day or so. It won't be hard to find them again now that our dragons know their scents," she replied. Dral moved in front of his desk, and looked down slightly. "I see...and it would seem that your arm is lame." Kaden nodded. "We ran into some trouble. But it is recovering." "Perhaps it is. Yet I have no need of a lame bounty hunter that could possibly delay this job," Dral responded. He then looked at Rain. "Rain. Prove your worth as a bounty hunter. Kill Tracyn. Do so, and should you succeed on the job, you will recieve both your and Tracyn's payment."
...I think this thread made me lose a few IQ points.
Kaden walked forward, entering the room. It was well lit by various sized flames, and on the far side of the room was a large wooden desk and a chair. As they entered, a person stood up from behind the desk, also clad in armor. The person walked forward, then spoke. "Tracyn...is the job done? the person said, their voice male. "No. But we've located them. I came here to tell you that, and that I have decided to complete the job with a partner," Kaden said, gesturing to Rain. All three were in full armor, so no expressions could be read. The man turned to Rain, and said, "I am General Dral Tracyn. You are now under my employment...as such, I will pay you equal to Tracyn's promised amount. I hope that sits well with you?"
The Strength To Go On ~ Rise Against
Kaden landed as well. As they entered the tower at the high point, there was a long hallway, ending in large wooden doors. They were closed. Kaden stopped walking for a moment, then said, "Rain...if it looks like I start to go for my weapon, stop me." After that, she continued to walk forward, and opened one of the doors with some trouble, thanks to her injured arm.
OOC: Yeah, sure. xD But you are not a dumbass. >: IC: After flying for quite a long time, the two reached the heart of the Fire Region. Kaden shouted over to Rain, "Over there," she said, pointing to a castle-like structure, "That is our goal, it's the base of the chain of command for the Fire Region. Our employer will be waiting for us." She directed Ravage up to the highest part of the castle, knowing Rain would follow her.
There is such a thing as "going too far" here. So let's not, okay guys?
Getting down to the end here, after these two we'll be moving on to the Normal Edition. Vote on, KHV.
I don't really see the problem, Lassie was a boy. D:
Has a crazy signature.
Agh that's this weekend? ;~; I love American history in general, but the Revolution is one of my favourite time periods. xD I don't have a TV here though, and I doubt I can take over the commons room TV for that long. >>
Loves his Lisbeth.
