Cargo pants and t-shirts ftw. And don't feel bad Misty, I have wolf head buttons sewn on one pair of my cargo pants. 8D My mom was harassing me about needing new buttons one day so I decided to find the most ridiculous as possible ones in-store, bought them, brought them home and that was that. She's never harassed me about clothes again. :'D
The Price of Freedom ~ Crisis Core OST
Face of Lost Pride ~ Crisis Core OST
Yeah, honestly, who can't relate to this?
Suddenly, Kingdom Hearts II.
It was less on how "good" the art was than talking about the unique style and the impact it had on the modern art world of gaming. I also talked about Lost in Shadow and a few other games that've been considered "unique" in terms of art styles throughout gaming. Yeah, I might try that, I'm also gonna talk to my advisor tomorrow too. I just hate that he's BS'd the majority of his "criticism".
Like I said, I tried. Nothing's worked. >>
That stops fairly quickly though, lol. Honestly there's more impalements and things getting sliced in half than I remember in previous "serious" arcs.
As of now she hasn't shown up, but it's at a fairly serious plot point again. Also I think S2 is significantly more bloody and violent than S1. >>
Ah yeah, the Ghoul arc. I can't really remember when Season 1 ends anymore. xD IMO Season 2 is much better, especially the latest chapters.
...Except they both died? I completely forget when the holy sealing bracelet is introduced...I think it's first season, but I don't want to accidentally spoil anything. xD
Ah, okay. And well, Tsukune...wait, I don't know how far in the series you are, so I won't say anything, lol.
My Capstone teacher has been harassing me about my essays and stuff, one of which is how Okami set a new standard for art in video games (which is completely true, written without my bias) and he emailed my mom saying how it had "little to do with my project". My project is the history of art in video games. He also is the reason why I'm making a game; my original thesis was that I would make a character design, and maybe a game if I had time. He's turned that into "you have to make a game otherwise your project is pointless". I have explained this to him multiple times but he doesn't get it. I know for a fact my friend has done far less than me, yet he always puts me in the spot during class, but then again he also reads articles on Wikipedia about things I talk about in my essays. So all in all he told me that if I don't get more work done I'll get an incomplete for the quarter, which could get me kicked out from college. tl;dr - my Capstone teacher has no idea what the hell he's talking about and it could pretty much ruin the rest of my life.
...I really hope you're not equating Moka to Edward.
Victim ~ Avenged Sevenfold
It's not actually manga, it's more of Yen Press being stupid (as per usual) thinking they can call something "manga" (it falls more under graphic novel), printing it in black and white, and automatically attracting more fans. Apparently the lettering in the book is done entirely in Times New Roman, which just adds another dimension of fail to it.
Save Me ~ Avenged Sevenfold
Bite me, di'kut jetii.
Well... I would assume only the supremely hardcore fans would get things like that permanently tatooed on their bodies.
Art in video games has nothing to do with art in video games.
