In my opinion, you should try FF 10, FF 12, Dirge of Cerberus, and Crisis Core. Maybe FF 10-2 and FF 11 online.
Don't worry. I have the same problem with a girl i like. Show her somehow how you care for her and won't hurt her. But, i'm not that great with girls so, results may very.
