Sadly, no. You'd need a regular PS2, or an older PS3, like the 40GB.
The newer versions have little to no backwards compatibility. You were better off getting an older one with less space if you wanted to play PS2 games.

OOC: Every one was training then they went to bed. Aigis and John shared a dream about Navo returning and Arisa having to fight him. It was revealed that Navo is not only a persona of death, but Death itself. In the dream he said that he would return for real and that everything would die soon. The next morning they told Suki and Ovan. Suki isn't sure if she believes it or not, while Ovan just flat-out denies it. They are all on their way to school now. Hope it helped.
