She went into Sentinel to soften the damage of the broken pieces of swords, she jumped backward and changed to Ravager and cast Aero, Thunder, and Water on Sakuya. Snow went after Ethan and his pokemon again, Vanille joined Serah in her Ravager role and cast Fire on Sakuya. ~ "I don't get all the changing colors they're doing. Can't they just stick to one?" Draco asked, sounding bored out of his mind. Hermione spoke when she came, "Of course, you wouldn't get it. When a person branded a l'Cie, they have six assigned roles. Commando : the fighter, Ravager: the magician, Medic: the healer, Syngerist: the supporter, and Saboteur: the debuffer. The l'Cie can change what role they need for the battle countless times." Glaring at Lighting's knife as she remembered what Axel said at the start of the match, she wondered to herself, 'Are you really here, Lighting? That comment still concerns me.' She brought some popcorn and a drink, Hermione calmly ate the popcorn and drank her drink.

Knowing Serah could take care of herself, Snow went after the Pokemon and its trainer, casting his spells again on the fire Pokemon. Vanille changed to her Saboteur role and cast Slow on Shadow, not sure if he was immune to it.

Like Serah, Snow changed into his Sentinel role and used Steelguard to protect himself before changing into his Ravager role and cast Water and Blizzard on the fire Pokemon, Vanille was also in her Ravager role and cast a Thunder on Typhlosion. Fang watched, interested in the match. ~ "Maybe that thing doesn't count as a member of the team?" Tommy said, finishing his hotdog.

Vanille gripped her binding rod and smiled, looking at their opponent and wondered if Jotaro was a l'Cie and his Stand Power was his Eidolon. From the presenter's box, Fang spoke into the microphone, "Commentating for Team l'Cie on this match is Vanille's closest companion, me, Oerba Yun Fang. Lets hope Team l'Cie can work together like Team Ranger Gokai and manage to win this match." ~ Hermione was also surprised that Lighting and Sazh were in the audience, she hadn't seen them enter the tower at all, and wondered if Axel was speaking the truth or if he was messing around with them. She gripped Lighting's knife and took a breath, then focused her eyes on the match. Harry was thinking the same about Lighting and Sazh being the audience, but kept his mind on the match.

Snow cracked his knuckles and stood ready in his battle stance, Vanille took out her binding rod and smiled, standing ready in her battle stance. Watching from the stands, Hermione held Lighting's knife and Snow's bandanna gently and sighed. Ankh was curious to see how this group fought while Michal watched, excited. Fang sat in the presenter's box and smiled, eager to see what their opponent was like.
Standing up and putting his fists together, Snow smiled and said, "It's our turn now. Lets show them what we're made of." "Right. That's my hero for you." Serah said, standing up with a smile with Mog beside her, he nodded as Vanille and Fang stood up, touching Vanille's shoulder, Fang said, "Give them a show out there." "Right!" Vanille said, nodding with a smile. Fang smiled and followed Akiza to the presenter's box. Heading for the arena, Serah changed into a White Mage outfit while Snow, after giving Hermione his bandanna, changed into a outfit that resembled his old one a bit. The group entered the arena, the moment Vanille entered the arena, Ivan felt a spark of light and remembered what happened he faced the others before coming to the tower and he was sure the other villains would feel it as well.
