I think you take wrong part of it: "5. No editing your posts to try to change your move if someone else has already made their move." This fit situation better.
If Lyris will allow it you should edit your move while waiting for somebody who can tell you directly if you can or not (SirFred131, Brooklyn, NemesisOmega).

It would ruin this card. All of Earthbound Immortals have this effect that can't be targeted for attack and it's a part of what make them Earthbound Immortals. If you want to change this effect don't make your custom Earthbound Immortal.

Well to anime effect I would add this stupid effect that let your opponent attack you directly when this card is only monster on your side of the field. And I don't think that change to each monster would change things that much because it's still easy to abuse it to get really high ATK.
