"I am a good reason to change, I wonder?" Van Helsing said softly, not looking at her. OOC: okay, i got up at 5:45 today, ms. angelyn! i win the earlyness now!! :D
"Getting better," Van Helsing agreed. "Just have to work on other departments now..." OOC: poor angelyn, up so early! i just got up! teehee!! :D:D:D
Van Helsing snorted, shaking his head. "You're so very kind to me," he muttered.
"It's fine," Van Helsing explained, though he pushed his hand under his thigh to try and hide the smell. "It will heal in a day or two... and I can shoot well enough, don't worry. I'm sorry it bothers you... more sorry for Beatrice, even though I think I should just let her be right now." Dracula sighed, dropping Aleera unsteadily to her feet and stepping away from her once again. "Let me be," he hissed quietly. "Go on your way."
"Oh," Van Helsing laughed. "Yes. We'll be in Transylvania tomorrow morning, and we'll find somewhere safe to stay then. That can't be far away... a few hours, at least." Dracula wheeled on the spot, grabbing Aleera by the throat and pulling her three feet off the ground. "Do not shout at me, my dear," he hissed, his eyes growing blacker by the moment. "I can fix Hannah well enough, trust me, and then have no further use for you, so... please try to show some respect."
"If it were just Dracula we were worried about, yes," Van Helsing replied soberly, his smile fading. "But we seem to have accumulated many other problems as well, so... no, not near close to the end." Dracula shrugged lightly. "I would like to see what happens, my dear," he replied to the wall opposite him, still not looking at Aleera. "That is what matters right now."
"Fair enough," Van Helsing smirked, rubbing his side. "Definitely fair enough..."
"Well, I can only wait so long," Van Helsing muttered under his breath. "And you as well." Dracula frowned, looking away from Aleera. "I think not," he said softly. "That isn't an option... at the moment."
"Im at a loss, then," Van Helsing sighed, though his smiled was still in place. "Looks like it's up to you, since my human instincts aren't as fast as yours."
"My mistake," Van Helsing smiled. "When you least expect it, then." "I see," Dracula hissed. "That's going to be a problem. What do you suggest?"
"Well, you better be careful the next time we stop, then," Van Helsing teased, elbowing her side.
"Oh, you don't mind, dear, and you know it," Van Helsing sighed. "You don't have to be embarrassed, you know; it doesn't help anyone." Dracula cocked his head to the side for a moment, the expression on his face unreadable, maybe slightly curious as he brushed a small lock of hair off his cheek. "She bit one?" he repeated with a tiny smile now. "The stupid mutt didn't attack her?"
"Is it something I should be concerned about?" Dracula hissed, turning to face his one remaining bride. "Did she sleep with that werewolf or something?"
OOC: i hate you too... lol *sniff* five seconds later... okay im over it :D "That's very comforting," Van Helsing smiled.
"Oh, don't lie to yourself, dear," Van Helsing sighed. "I guess I'll just have to wait until you can't stand it anymore."
"Very true," Van Helsing replied happily. "Maybe it's because I'd rather be doing something besides talking at the moment." OOC: yes, very fun conversation... teehee! :D
"I wouldn't mind, depending on your definition of the word 'torture,'" Van Helsing smiled to himself. "But I guess, at this rate, I should be afraid."
Van Helsing choked on his next retort slightly, a little taken aback. He tried to hide the large grin on his face, but failed miserably. "You've no idea how... interesting that is to me," he managed to say after a moment.
Van Helsing snorted. "Well, I'm sorry," he replied swiftly. "I didn't know you were that kind of girl."
Van Helsing smirked. "I don't think I would mind too much, since you're being such a tease."
