lol. I got it on the first watch. Then again, I'm kinda a math geek.
Yup, I got it. He's basically saying how to subtract, telling you how you go by each place and take from the next place if you've got a number that's less that what you are subtracting from. As he says, it's pretty simple.

He jumped up to the roof. "Get out!" he said.

He followed her out and asked "What was it?"

"It's okay." he said, still crying a bit.
He knelt beside her and hugged her.
He wiped his eyes and went in.
He heard her cry and cried more. "Please." he said. "Take me back."
He started crying and said "I never knew! I can change! I can let you take care of yourself! Please, just give me a chance!"
"Thanks." he said, sitting back down.
"Give me a chance!" he said.
"Jessica please!" he said. "We need to talk!"
"Hey." he said.
He knocked on her door.
