"Oh, I doubt that," Van Helsing replied casually, not showing whether he heard Edward or not. "They're much better behaved; you see, the whole damn reason they're with me is to do something against their nature: getting rid of a vampire. So why the hell would they attack someone? Honestly, miss, I though you were smarter than that."
"Well what?" Van Helsing replied with a happy smile. "Would you like me to go out right now and hunt down the beast and bring the body back for you to burn or something?"
"Hmm," Van Helsing muttered with a nod. "She should be out soon, I'm sure."
Van Helsing sighed deeply. "Morning, dear," he winked at Jinx, not looking at Beatrice. "Though I'm sure it's close to noon by now."
"Maybe. Here they are," Van Helsing muttered, nodding over and Jinx and Beatrice, trying his best to stay calm.
"Oh, I can answer them," Van Helsing said with a crooked smile, stepping over to stand in front of the large, square, floor-length mirror.
Van Helsing opened the castle door and followed Michael inside. "I guess we're going to face Miss Anna's questions this morning and afternoon," he began, changing the subject.
"It's okay," Van Helsing sighed, though his hands stayed clenched in fists. "I have a bit of a temper sometimes..."
OOC: oh baby... angry hugh is like hiro status! "BAD ASS!" :D "That's not something to 'just ask,'" Van Helsing retorted, sharply turning their direction back at the castle.
Van Helsing tightened his hands into fists, resisting the urge to let his fingers touch his guns. "Shall we go inside now?" he hissed under his breath, his tone dangerous and icy.
Van Helsing narrowed his eyes. "Then I might pause for a second before I shot," he answered a little icily.
OOC: michael hates me! waaaaahh!!! :(
"I don't want to hurt her," Van Helsing replied slowly. "But if she is killing innocent peopleto feed I will have to get rid of her, I think. It's my job."
OOC: angelyn is yoomy! :glomp::glomp::glomp::glomp::glomp: BIC: "Of course," Van Helsing snapped. "I have no doubt he helped and encouraged her to the point where she didn't know what she was doing... I hope. Otherwise, I'm not going to stand for her killing innocent people no matter how newborn she is."
OOC: tee frikkin hee, angelyn... im excited!!! BIC: "I see," Van Helsing sighed. "I've noticed, yes, but I figured she would be too afraid to hurt anyone, too scared to harm an innocent person to satisfy some hunger she doesn't understand or deserve."
OOC: im sorry ill say something... WHERE IS MICHAEL??
OOC: angelyn thats so frikkin adorable!!!!!!!!!!! *tear* BIC: "I'm not angry with her," Van Helsing sighed. "I just wish she'd had a better conscious. It seemed... well, when she was human, it seemed like she wouldn't want to hurt people. This Lestat person even bothers. From what Edward and the others have said, I doubt I could even touch him, let alone kill him for what he's done."
"Her creator," Van Helsing growled, not liking the word. "Lestat... he doesn't want her to be like Hannah and Jinx."
"Another vampire?" Van Helsing repeated as they walked, frowning. "She wouldn't go with just another vampire... I know who it was, you know."
"Well, if you don't want Beatrice to hear, I suggest walking this way," Van Helsing replied.
