Hey guys, Anyone up to making a wallpaper at resolution 1024 x 768? My friend wants one with a drawing she did, and I told her I knew a place where I could probably get that done...*bats eyelashes* I'd like it if several people did this thanks. Why can't you get it up now..? T__T Yeah, PS isn't hard once you get the hang of it. And thanks! I was in french class and it just popped in head, so then I noted it down. I SWEAR! Sometimes, ideas just appear in my head, that's why I always have a little notebook around me so that I note down my ideas, and I don't forget them n__n Other times, if I want to make a work based on an event, or feelings (like the Roxas is a Monster piece), I try to brainstorm on how I could represent it. I try to find keywords that are based on the key word (the theme) of the piece I want to make. Uuuh....did you get that?
Finally! You'll be putting up drawings! Took you damn long enough woman! Hey, that little graphic's not bad at all! For someone who's still learning how to you Photoshop anyway XD It's a little monotonous, but simple and clean n_n (Why don't you mix up a bit of color in it? (; ) Keep it up Elfy! A lot of people use Adobe Photoshop CS2. Personally I do as well.
The colors? I get them from the color palette in PS lol! Well at first I set a color scheme, which I define in the background. I used a gradient for that. After, I use the brush, smudge and selection tools to color and refine it up (: When they say practise makes perfect, it's not a load of bullcrap because at first, I was totally anti-digital coloring believe or not xD I can admit I've improved immensely! And so can you! Feel free to ask away! =D

Orignally done for a contest, but couldnt make it in on time. To keep it short, this illustration is supposed to represent 'Music' (through my perspective!). ~~~~ As the SINGER starts to sing, and the STAR starts playing the melody, their engaging MUSIC seduces the FOLLOWERS to take off with the muscians into their own, mystifying world. ~~~~ The MUSIC (or rocket)~ Goofy/ - he is the music created, in form of a 'rocket', stating the idea of 'blasting off' into the musician's world. The STAR and the SINGER~ Sora & Donald/ - they're supposed to be the musicians. To represent the STAR (Sora) I went with the semi-homonym Starsign which fits perfectly with outer space. (Sora's supposed to be an Aries if anyone didn't noticed >_>; ) The FOLLOWERS (or fans)~ flying Eggs/ - the eggs, which are supposed to be the youths, are 'hypnotised' by the music and embark with the musicians into their world. There was also meant to be a Sun, which was in a form of a clock to indicate life....kinda left that behind on the way since I found it pointless... Overall I quite like it! - something I don't get to saying with a lot of my works. About the comical style I used here, I'm still getting the hang of it, but I'm pretty happy with the way it came out. Any type of remarks, aim 'em this way! =D

I find the first one a *bit* too bright and the second *way* too dark >_> But if I had to pick one, I'd say V1- it strikes out a bit more. Not bad though~
