There are laws against some of the content of anime in America. 4Kids Entertainment is probably most famous for editing anime. This as most of you know ruins the plots. American Anime Re-distributors normally censor these Examples. -Political correctness -Recreational drugs, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco products -Violence, death, and weapons -Swearing and profanity -Nudity and sexuality (this includes Homosexuality) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4Kids_Entertainment http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Editing_of_anime_in_American_distribution Do you think this helps or hurts people watching anime? Also do you think this helps the plots in certain cases? _________________________________________ I personally think that It's not a good thing to censor certain elements of the plots. Certain things need to be censored, but if it causes harm to the plot then you have to create an entirely new plot which is very confusing. What do you think? (I only used Wikipedia because it had example pictures)
Is he the one who tried to make that suggestion a rule?
