"I was thinking of going to the island. We've had so much fun there every summer and I thought, why should this summer be any different?" A voice in the back of Riku's head echoes, You're lying. He lets the thought go. "We should find Kairi. She would want to go."
Riku isnt completely sure what Kairi meant, but there was a little understanding. "yeah...wait, what?" OOC: i got nothing
Riku hears Sora say "See ya." He sees spiky hair and walks up behind him. "You aren't saying see ya to me, are ya Sora?" he says with a smile. You're such a goof, Sora.
Riku smiles back at Kairi. man, i forgot how she can put it away. He eats his pancakes pretty quietly.
OOC: oh, i could never hate you, highly dislike you with a passion yes, but hate you no. :D Riku, being absent minded, almost burns himself. focus Riku. you dont want Kairi worrying about you too. He finishes a stack of pancakes, pours a couple glasses of milk, and takes everything to the living room. he sets it all down on the coffee table and sits on the couch (trying not to sit too close to Kairi and at the same time doesnt want to seem like a jerk for sitting too far away). he begins to help himself to some grub.
OOC: aw man! i cant believe youre torturing Kairi like that. its great :p Riku prepares batter as his mind wanders. Sora liked pancakes...I remember when me and him had a contest to see who could crame the most in his mouth. he got 11 before he almost choked. i stopped at 3, cuz i knew it would be funnier jes seeing him do it. Riku smiles to himself then suddenly frowns. im talking like hes dead. he'll make it through, i jes know it! he stops beating the batter (cuz he was worked up) and gets the skillet ready. i know it...
Riku keeps a slight smile on his face and stands up. "i think ill make pancakes. you can take it easy on the couch or something while i cook." pancakes, something i actually can make. he heads into the kitchen.
OOC: im telling you, Rikus place has everything :D Riku sits up and looks at Kairi, particularly surprised that shes up. he gives her a smirk (a sincere one), hoping to make her feel comfortable. "morning, Kairi. feeling better? want anything to ea...t..." Riku lingers on the last word because he knows it draws attention to what Sora had done to the kitchen. last thing i want is Kairi thinking i hate Sora for what he did.
Riku takes in the afternoon sun as other estatic students rush past, getting a head start on their summer plans. One last summer. Then we all go our separate ways... He walks away from the almost deserted school, with just one destination in mind. The island. Sora and Kairi will go there, no doubt. That's where we'll make our last summer count.
i think all of you dying of boredom should start some kind of support group with each other. then you all could be bored together. :p
Riku finishes the kitchen cleanup and crashes on the couch. i wonder how Soras doing. No doubt Kairi will want to see him again. i hope see took to heart what i said. life sucks... :( OOC: "life sucks", now thats a real Riku comment :p
